Re: [~3000 Gh/s Mining Pool] HTTPS,API, instant payouts,LP,+1% for NO INVALID BLOCKS

Ach, my apologies, the proxy I was using filled the details in automatically, never thought to check what it was actually asking me for.

The site seemed to block my connection a few weeks ago but let me back in a few days later, so I assumed it would do the same now. The only thing I can think of is my IP ending up blocked whilst your site was being hit with DDoS attacks.

Same with me.

Glad it's not just me going crazy.

I understand you're probably busy a lot of the time Tycho, but I'd really appreciate it if you took a quick scan of your firewall and whatnot for me.

I originally signed up as 'sulgent@hotmail.com' using 86.19.228.17.

I get 325 mh/s with only 850 clock speed. Running poclbm.

How can that be possible? I'm hitting only 270mh with poclbm on both my 5830s clocked at 900 core, using Afterburner to overclock but anything past 900 (Enabling 'unofficial' overclocking in the config) puts the system in an endless BSOD loop.

Am using these for what it's worth: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/1gb-xfx-hd-5830-pci-e-21-%28x16%29-4500mhz-gddr5-gpu-840mhz-1120-cores-dp-2xdl-dvi-i-hdmi

Make sure you're using ATI Stream 2.1 rather than 2.4, moved me from 220m to 270m at 900 core.

Dumped both my 480s here from Deepbit, seems to be running perfectly, great stuff.

As long as you keep your temperatures within spec you'll be fine. Of-course, using quality components is recommended as well.

I'm using 'poclbm' which seems to be working well for my 480s, I can't comment on a CPU miner as I haven't bothered with one.

Seems to be running perfectly with 'minerd', hopefully my server's i7-920 will be able to net me some of these namecoins before the difficulty spikes ;p.

Re: How big of a power supply do I need?

I think I just blew a 1200W power supply powering 2x Nvidia 295's just 18 hours after I started GPU mining.  (At least I hope that is all I blew).
It tripped the circuit breaker.

What model PSU is it?

I am also using the Intel D975XBX also; with an Intel E6300, 2GB DDR2 667, a reference 5850, and a non-reference Sapphire 5870, and this PS is serving me well (I don't have any exact usage figures, though): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371026&cm_re=earthwatts-_-17-371-026-_-Product

What does reference and non-reference mean in this context? And how does that effect wattage?

A reference GPU uses the 'stock' ATI / Nvidia board and heatsink, non-reference cards typically use boards that may restrict overclocking (By locking the voltage, for example) or they may have a custom cooler fitted.
