Re: [ANN] BetKing.io ICO - Bitcoin Gambling website

@BetKing.io

2 questions.

1. How will we be able to buy / sell tokens amongst ourselves.
We will need some sort of exchange site.

2. How can we (the investors) be sure that the 70% of your shares don't suddenly become available for sale.
It would potentially decrease the value of every token with 70%.
And probably even more because of people panic selling their tokens.

I'm basically saying that a market where 1 person has 70% shares isn't a healthy market.
You would have to much control over the available tokens on the market.
And you could deflate the market at any time.

What is the gift? What you giving away? BTC? If so then say how much, maybe i will register at you site.

What shall you be giving away?

Yes, it's BTC. I am just delivering gifts on behalf of Mr Santa, you would have to unwrap it yourself Wink

There is no registration, simply visit one of the sites and create your username and password.

That's very nice of you, unfortunately I won't be signing up. Will it be random amounts to each user?
What about the alts?

Wtf man, appreciate free gifts from websites. Don't ask to much questions GEEZZ.. some people...

Not saying I'm ungrateful, I'm just asking a simple question and I'm not even accepting the gifts, so calm down.

You would accept it if it was a huge gift, these kind of persons...nvm

Its ironic how they show big wins on the site but can't pay out the ~3 BTC, but than again they were scamming from the start.

Wrong
I got an email saying they're investigating my account since I won a large amount in a rapid succession. Logical, but now how long until the next response?

Come on....sorry to say this, but if you ignore all these scam accusations in this and other threads and still defend them and give the benefit of the doubt, than you just are stupid. Than don't blame the site but blame yourself.

They have a reputation a scammer and really really bad customer support. 0.6 BTC vanished from my account, they said I gambled it LOL and NO I didn't. They deleted all my bets too. Don't know why people here are playing...and 0.5 BTC..do some research before playing with so much money.

They also fake their bets.

Hi 01BTC10,

Srry, but thats not really helpful.
I wouldn't really recommend using walletnotify.
Because I can't afford to loss or skip any transactions.

Let's say something goes wrong.
Maybe your website is down for some hours.
Bitcoind will still call walletnotify, but your script can't process the transactions.

I would prefer using listsinceblock.
Because you'll get all transactions since your last synced up.

So if a block has 0 confirmations its labeled an orphan block.
And listsinceblock will return all my transactions.

I just came up with some concept code.
It fixes the memory problem.
But my concept will only work if reorgs stops happening after a certain amount of confirmations (7).
Could you maybe verify.

Code:
min = 1
max = 7

lastBlockHash = database.lastBlockHash
blockData = bitcoind.getblock(lastBlockHash)

if(blockData.confirmations < min)
{
    lastBlockHash = bitcoind.getblockhash(max)
}

response = bitcoind.listsinceblock(lastBlockHash)

foreach(response.transactions)
{
    ...
}

New transactions will either be in new blocks or there will be a reorg and the block hash you give to listsinceblock will be outside of the main chain, causing listsinceblock to dump all of your transactions.

But dumping all transactions is a problem right?
Like memory.
Is there a way to batch the transactions?
We will be having a lot of transactions.

Ha ok,
So lets say i'll use listsinceblock.
Will new transactions always be added in higher blocks.
Or could there be blocks added before a older block.

Basically my question is, will I loss transactions using "listsinceblock".

listtransactions loops through every transaction in your wallet, so it isn't very fast or scalable.

I could make the "listtransactions" loop scalable by using the "[count=10] [from=0]" parameters.
Right now I loop 50 entries at a time.
And if I see a transaction thats already in my database i stop the loop.

This will make my approach scalable.
But it will only work if all new incoming transactions are added to the top of the list.

Because if any new transaction is added before a known transaction, my approach will skip that transaction.

Doesn't anyone know if new transactions are added to the list at random places.
Or are they always added on top.
