Philippines Senator Proposes Blockchain Budget System
by

on 28/08/2025, 16:02:36 UTC
What do you think about this? Do you think it can lead to a greater economy and transparency? I mean for government of a nation to make their national budget transparent by putting it on the blockchain?

That is what Philippines Senator, Bam Aquino is planning to do, to file legislation that will make this possible in Philippines.

Do you think it can reduce corruption and also enhance economic development?

Re: Is online betting safe in India?
by

on 28/08/2025, 11:19:19 UTC
I agree with what you said. Even if we are using offshore online casinos, we still need to check if the security is tight. We are giving away delicate information during KYC, so we need to know if they are being kept private or if they are just selling all the information to scammers.
How can we know if a gambling site is selling our information to another party? That will be very difficult to know. This is one of the reasons I liked crypto gambling sites.m but most of them are not making KYC compulsory.

Sure, local online casinos are truly secure because of regulation, but it's actually more difficult to win against the house. Why? They are paying taxes and all kinds of fees just to keep their business going, so they will probably get it back by making the gamblers lose more.
Local casinos are fiat casinos but some people may prefer to just gamble with cryptocurrencies.

Re: Any good reason you prefer perpetual to future?
by
Oshosondy
on 28/08/2025, 09:57:42 UTC
1. Futures are not available for every asset.
2. Futures are not listed on every trading platform.
3. Where both futures and perpetual swaps exist, the perp order books are usually deeper and trading volumes higher, which results in faster execution of limit orders.
This deserves merit but I do not have any merit left. But about fast execution time, you have no problem on the exchange future is existing, the volume of coins there are traded in a way that fast execution are guaranteed. That is the reason you will noticed on most exchanges, almost all pairs are not there but just the common ones like BTCUSDT and ETHUSDT. On some exchanges, I see SOLUSDT.

Re: Delete Someone Unused UID Number/Address in Your Exchange Addree Book'

When the addresses or UIDs are saved, isn't there an option to name it, like in a contact list? I think that is something you can suggest to bybit to rectify or improve on in the next updates. Either way, I don't like that option of saving addresses.
You can add a remark to it but it is optional. The thing is Bybit will show where you can check (mark) for the address not to require verification next time, automatically no remark will be there.

Firstly, address reuse isn't good for privacy and security reasons
Secondly, exchanges or other services change addresses sporadically. Depositing funds in an old address my lead to incontinences.
Yes, bit when it comes to altcoins, the wallets are showing just a single address.

Now, when this is booming and big, regret always comes at the end, because if it's at the beginning, it's called registration.
You do not need to regret anything, bitcoin will still continue to increase. It is not too late to invest at all. You can start DCA or you can wait till the right time when the market fall more and invest but I will prefer DCA or averaging instead as the price fall more. Bitcoin still have a lot of potential to increase and you can still see little profit and a good hedge against inflation

Re: How small side hustles can help us accumulate Bitcoin
by
Oshosondy
on 27/08/2025, 12:03:04 UTC
What do you think? Can small side hustles really help average people build a solid Bitcoin savings for the future?
What do you guys think about this?
I do not think this question is necessary though because people have side hustle to make money. Side hustle also means that you have another work or job which is your main job. If you earn enough from your main job and sifmde hustle in a way that you have savings, then you can save some of the money remaining in bitcoin and hold it. It is as simple as that.

Re: Should gambling ads be normalized?
by
Oshosondy
on 27/08/2025, 11:45:00 UTC
Like I said earlier my stance on this will not change anything. Gambling site has the right to decide where their ads will appear weather during sports matches, social media streaming platform, on Mobile games, on billboards and many places they chose, all they want is to promote their business and no one can detect for them where and how to advertise it.
I agree with you that this thread  or discussion will not change anything, but I do not agree with you that gambling sites have the right to advertise anywhere they want. Gambling sites should not be allowed anywhere there is under 18 presence. The only way you can win this is because the government are also making money from gambling and they do not really care about what is happening than to make money from anywhere.

I bought bitcoin when it was around $20000 and I sold some first when it got to $100000 the first time. I bought some when it when below $80000 and I sold around $100000. Only little is remaining and I do not feel any pressure at all. I gained more than I lose. If I am not losing and I have gained, I will also never feel any pressure at all this time.

Re: Will Bitcoin surpass one million in the coming weeks?
by
Oshosondy
on 27/08/2025, 09:16:54 UTC
Bitcoin is currently trading at $100,000, and demand is growing. Will it reach one billion in the next few years? Is this an exaggeration, or is it even possible?
Which one are you asking of. In your topic title, you asked if bitcoin will surpass $1 million, but in your post content, you asked if bitcoin will surpass $1 billion.

Bitcoin will one day surpass $1 million. With the wealth in this world, I am very sure if that. Bit it might take 15 years before this can be accomplished.

Bitcoin will surpass $1 billion. Bitcoin can surpass $1 billion but it will take centuries.

That sounds very cool coming from Saylor, but what he's doing is simply DCA. Something I've been doing for over a decade with other assets first and then with bitcoin.
Michael Saylor is not doing DCA from the angle I am viewing it. He only wants to to increase people's, companies and governments confidence that bitcoin is an asset of value, that its price will continue to increase after a long period of time. This year he even said that according to analysis or something, that bitcoin will not go through the winter period, I mean the bear market obviously. I still doubt that but after him, many people started to say the same thing, yet I still doubt it.

Roman Trading, a renowned analyst known for his pessimistic forecasts on Bitcoin, remains firm in his stance and has laid out his reasoning and projections.

Read the full article here: https://en.coin-turk.com/bitcoin-stalls-as-analysts-debate-future-price-directions
I will not read that article. Do you know the reason? Because you said it is a news about a bitcoin critic. You will see them when bitcoin is falling but bitcoin will later disappoint then after increase more than they expected.

It is good to know that bitcoin fell to $108600 before increasing back above $110000. Presently it is at $109980. I also think it is not bull market for now but I will prefer not to listen to eat critics are saying.

by

This is not just only about gambling but tourism also. Tourists will not only go to the country for gambling but the $1.2 billion City of Dreams casino complex in Colombo will attract tourists which makes it still linked to gambling.

With what is said in the news, yes it will help the Sri Lankan economy.

by

on 26/08/2025, 08:15:00 UTC
Do you think the market will be dumping for a long time, or the market has fallen for military time?
We have discussed this on a thread recently that was created by one if the reliable members of this forum when bitcoin price increased recently that the price might come back down and the price came back down.

All the support have been broken but remaining $108000 which can be a huge blow if bitcoin fall furher which can trigger bitcoin to go below $100000 again.

I do not know if bitcoin price will fall more but people should just be careful.

by

on 26/08/2025, 07:55:59 UTC
So can the under developed countries get it right?
We do not know tomorrow but with what I have noticed since I started to know more about the world and countries, I noticed that countries that continue to develop are developing most while the ones that do not develop fast still are not developing fast. The developed countries remain as developed countries, developing countries remained as developing countries while underdeveloped countries remain as underdeveloped countries. Nothing changed. This makes the chance of underdeveloped countries to reduce in becoming developing or developed countries.

Re: Banks fear stable coins could drain deposits from banks
by

on 25/08/2025, 17:29:32 UTC
Banks run on interests and for that reason their are also after the charges the get from the customers and even though their have a stable coins, their interest generation and operations that generate the interest their could pay to customer holding those banks stable coins can't be compared to that of an exchange.

Take for example, how many Banks can generate the daily trading and staking and other Centralized exchange like binance volumes and cap.
In my country, there are banks that generate interest also.

I do not know of United States, the fintechs in my country can give as high as 20% up to certain amount, and 9 to 10% if that amount is exceeded.

There is even one with premium features in a way that you can save up to certain amount for 25 days and earn up to 36%>

The commercial banks should try and step up.

I think you are right though because commercial banks here are frustrating, although most people are using the account that have no yikes and the name will be the one that deducting customers money instead and call it maintenance charges.

Banks fear stable coins could drain deposits from banks
by
Oshosondy
on 25/08/2025, 17:16:18 UTC
You can read the news if you click on this link:US banks lobby to block stablecoin interest over fears of deposit flight

The Genius Act did not allow yielding. Banks are allowed to create their own stable coins but they can not pay interest on it.

The banks fear that people will prefer exchanges as people can indirectly stakes their stable coins on the exchanges and be yielding for them, therefore they said it can lead to people sending money from their bank account to exchanges, buy coins like USDT or USDC and stake it for yielding.

Why are banks afraid? I thought USD itself can be stajed in banks to yield APR. Or they think people will just leave USD and turn to only USDT, USDC and other stable coins?

Or why did they not let Trump knows that Genius Act should allow yielding instead.

Re: Evolution card counting
by
Oshosondy
on 25/08/2025, 11:46:59 UTC
So far it seems to be a Telegram channel dedicated to some sort of card counting, which is not necessarily an attempt to scam anyone at a first glance.
Though, It would be silly to assume cars counting could give one an advantage against the house when comes to blackjack, it is common knowledge casinos use multiple decks of cards in live casinos in order to deter those who count cards to increase their leverage against the house.

Probably there is some scam behind all of this, but I would not give deeper. I prefer just to be cautious, there are a lot of scams in Telegram, that is for sure.
You are very correct, this is just a way that some new people can be deceived. The house are in a way that gamblers will just lose at the end, people should not be deceived. When I see a services like this, I see them just like scam, but you are right that money is not involved, so it does not mean. But people should be very careful, when it is leading to what will let the ay money in one way or the other.

Should I sell, spend it all on hookers, or some combination of the two?
If you are holding for long term, you are nit a newbie to ask this kind of question. You should know that it is possible that bitcoin will get to $1 million in the next 10 to 15 years.

But if you want to sell bitcoin now as you do not want to wait for another long term bulk period, you can sell your coins.

Re: Bitcoin Price VS Bitcoin Usage
by
Oshosondy
on 25/08/2025, 09:58:06 UTC
Bitcoin utilities is the most important while the increasing price and marketcap is also very important. Bitcoin utilities led to its adoption and its adoption helped in its price to continue to increase after a long period of time. If bitcoin has nonuse, expect people not to buy or use bitcoin for anything and its price will not increase.

On the Telegram, there is nothing like evolution of card counting but rubbish. Are you trying to scam or what?
