BSC gaining recognition: CROSS in view
by
Ota.collins
on 30/06/2025, 16:12:04 UTC
The Binance Smart Chain is gradually gaining prominence as more projects are launched on it. It used to be dominated by the Ethereum blockchain, then Solana slowly took over. Will BSC be next?

Just out of curiosity, what do you guys think of CROSS, which is built on the BSC network, and it's a native token of a layer 2 blockchain project powering games and governance?

Though it is yet to be listed, I have been seeing many positive notes about the project on X, and I would like to know what you guys think.

I think for them to be really ahead of the pack, they are investing in something that has a backbone and good history in terms of being in the cryptocurrency space and not being controlled by a small number of people who could bring the price down to zero.

Do you have a specific project in mind that is not layer 1 to but could be a possible candidate for investments with the institutions?
Aside from layer 1 projects, I am big on exchange tokens. BGB and others.

I recently came across CESS Network, though yet to be on exchanges, they seem to present a good project, and it is also a layer 1 project.

What do you guys think?
CESS Network is still relatively new, even very new, so it has not been able to prove its success in the market to attract investors or users to use their network. Many L1s have emerged but their progress is slow or even died, instead of putting too much trust in new projects, you better hold back until you really understand what CESS Network is doing after its release on the market. CESS Network has just been registered on Bitget and that is not a guarantee of any kind to be able to prove itself as a worthy L1.
Please see here https://scan.cess.network/ is still vulnerable to manipulation by large holders who are ready to quickly take down new projects.

I get the point. I am watching how the token performs on the exchange you mentioned already.

Have you noticed that the market has been acting like it has no direction, but with institutions still accumulating bitcoin, ethereum, and other cryptocurrencies I think the market still has a last pump to make.

While observing this institutional accumulation, I have noticed that they are more into layer 1 projects: Ethereum, Solana, etc. So I think it will only be good to join them.

The market is bullish; different projects are getting launched.

The market is back bullish, and we are seeing the creation of multiple projects. The majority of the projects launching this period are to enjoy the bullish hype; only a few are worth investing in for the long term.

To be on the safe side, Bitcoin and some high-cap cryptocurrencies should be your major investment now, but if you want to invest in low-cap altcoins, then you might find B2 as a good project. Though B2 is a Bitcoin-native Layer-2 solution that looks to address Bitcoin’s scalability limitations, high transaction costs, and lack of smart contract functionality, you should not forget to DYOR.

If you have seen any other good altcoins with low cap and good potential, you can kindly share them in the comments.

Re: Bitcoin price 2029/2030 bull run?
by
Ota.collins
on 29/05/2025, 09:24:11 UTC
Currently, I do not own any Bitcoin but my plan is to sell all my altcoins later this year for (hopefully) decent profit and then buy Bitcoin only starting next year once it has crashed from the expected highs that we see later this year.

I am assuming 2029/30 will be a peak high as that would be the next bull run if the 4 year cycle was to continue.

What price do we think it can be then? I am expecting it to be at least $400k and if that happens I plan to sell all the Bitcoin I manage to acquire and pay off a big chunk of my mortgage (I bought my first house 18 months ago and want to pay it off asap).

The 4-year cycle will continue, but the bull run will start earlier than 2029. I like your plan, and I am hoping it works out well. You can also think about adding Ethereum (my opinion)

Preparing for the bear market with passive income
by
Ota.collins
on 27/05/2025, 15:41:24 UTC
While the market continues to trend bullish, we should forget that we are in another 4-year cycle, and usually in the first year, the market tends to create its ATH before the bear market begins.

While BTC and other tokens are doing well now, it would be smart to prepare for the bear market by holding stablecoins to earn yield, so profits earned and the capital can be used to invest when the market shows an opportunity to.

In search of a way to do this, I stumbled upon BGUSD, a certificate backed by a basket of RW assets that can be converted to USDC at a 1:1 ratio. It gives an APY of 5%, and its subscription is free for your first 30 days. I am curious to know if there are others so I can compare and contrast before making a decision. If you have found others, please share in the comments.

Curious to know what social media managers do in terms of crypto?

Have you been curious to know what social media managers do in terms of cryptocurrencies? I have found a good video that explains that.

If you are aspiring to become a social media manager for an exchange or a project, you can use this video to educate yourself, as in the video, the host answers popular questions from X (Twitter) about the role of social media managers and what they do. You can watch the video and drop your take in the comments.

Re: BTC pumping Because of Bitcoin Pizza day ?

BTC has officially surpassed $111,000, now trading at $111,259.4 USDT.

Looks like Altcoin will rally up soon! for now will be on the chart and look for shorting Opportunities

Over the years, Bitcoin Pizza Day has done little to nothing to the price of Bitcoin, so it is pumping because it wants to pump, not because of pizza day.

Re: Why airdrop is making a lot of traders reconsider
by
Ota.collins
on 15/05/2025, 14:22:00 UTC
After seeing my $PRAI allocation, that's when I realized that the airdrop era has actually moved from just tap-to-earn to using transactions, mainnet, testnet, and many more to get ahead in the game. I was lucky to be among the people who did the airdrop early, and the allocation wasn't that bad. Also, after seeing that different exchanges are all into it, I find peace in knowing it will likely list at a good price. Exchanges like Binance announced upcoming campaigns for PRAI—but only for Alpha Points holders; OKX Ventures also invested in PRAI; and Bitget offered trading, staking, and low-fee liquidity, which is an advantage.

My point here is that airdrops are still valid for people who want to take them seriously or have low capital. As for me, apart from the allocation of $PRAI, after checking what the project stands for—comprising cryptographers, Web3 developers, and zero-knowledge (ZK) researchers who champion PRAI's fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) tech for secure AI—I believe, with the signs I've been seeing, it won't be bad to also buy early to get access to different rewards.
Do you also participate, and why are you not taking airdrop serious?
The Tap-to-Earn model of getting airdrops did its thing, and it was one of the most successful in onboarding newbies into cryptocurrency. About PRAI, I feel it is a good project, but I like to wait a while before trading new tokens, and I might take advantage of the exchange with low trading fees you mentioned, but this is when I am satisfied with its price performance over some time.

Hello guys,
I'm happy to be part of this community, and so far I've realized that everyone is more experienced than me, so I don't know how logical it is to ask this question, but I'll ask it anyway.

Is it the right time to invest in Bitcoin?

All my friends are talking about cryptocurrencies, but I still can't wrap my head around it. What would you recommend for someone who has no previous experience? Do any of you have resources that you can recommend to me that will explain cryptocurrencies in the shortest and most simple way?
If you have any success stories you would like to share, I would be very grateful if I could benefit from them as well...
There is always a place to start as a newbie and to recommend you can start learning about cryptocurrencies utilizing youtube videos

Re: Altcoins are pumping; meme coins or utility coins?
by
Ota.collins
on 14/05/2025, 17:06:33 UTC
I would say "utility" tokens are better, but at the same time there are many terrible ones of that too. I know it is not an easy task, but if you could do a better job with others, then you should not be worried at all. We have seen plenty of terrible results, and so utility tokens will be terrible results. But if you know what you are doing, then you should be doing a good job with whatever you have.

Memecoins are almost always terrible and they never make profit, there are like maybe one in a thousand memecoin that made anyone money. So that is why utility is ahead of memes, but that still doesn't mean just because you got a utility token, that means you will profit. You should be careful and if you do a good job then the return should not be a bad one at all.
Meme coins are for quick gains, but if you know how to do it, it can be a profitable way of trading crypto.

Altcoins are pumping; meme coins or utility coins?
by

With cryptocurrencies pumping hard and altcoins doing great. What are you guys buying? Altcoins with utility or meme coins?

Meme tokens like DOGE, SHIB, MAI, etc, seem to be moving faster, and it seems meme coins just can't stop pumping, whatever the market condition is. MAI, on the other hand, is kind of different from DOGE and SHIB as it is not just a meme coin; it is an AI meme coin, and I feel this is what has been pushing its price since it was listed.

I am having a feeling that it might do great soon, and I would love to know what you think. You can also suggest what you are trading in the comments.

Re: My thoughts on Bitcoin in the next few days or weeks
by
Ota.collins

With the market rising high, there is hope that Bitcoin might reach a new ATH. Being a chartist, I am expecting a new ATH soon, and this ATH will usher us into the bear market proper.

In the last bull market, we saw the last ATH at Q1 of the new cycle, and now, we might be seeing it at Q2 of this new cycle. While Bitcoin is likely to hit a new ATH, altcoins won't do too much especially ETH, but they will dip more.

The image below explains my view better. You can drop yours and comment your opinion.

Currently I can't tell if Bitcoin will reach another all time high (ATH) this period that the price is getting higher but I do believe that Bitcoin will reach there some day, just that I don't know when. However I don't suggest anyone to invest on altcoins because many of those altcoins are backward and can't tell if they will eventually become useful in future. IMO this is just another speculation cause no one is sure about there predictions.
Altcoins will lag massively until the next bull market. Better to invest in Bitcoin, in my opinion.

I agree with you that altcoins will not do much. Altcoins recently has been become pumo and dump in a way that almost they are manipulated.

I know that bitcoin will get to all time high but what I do not know is when bitcoin will get to the all-time high. Also when the beat market will begin. But I am speculating that it would be around early Q4 but it is very possible that will might begin in Q3.
The bear market likely to start after the Bitcoin ATH is created

Researching good altcoins for the future
by
Ota.collins
on 29/04/2025, 13:09:54 UTC
Lately, different projects have been popping up from different angles and with different ideas. Some I think are good, and others I think might not even last a few months when the market declines harder in the bear market.

I saw a funny-named project recently, Milky Way. Though the name sounds funny to me, it looks like a good project as it is a Cosmos-based layer-1 blockchain focused on Liquid Staking (LSD) and Restaking. The idea behind the project is something we have seen before, but the project being a layer 1 blockchain is something I want to watch closely.

I have been editing my watchlist. From experience, the best time to DYOR is when the market is down, you are in a calm state, and have nothing to lose compared to when the market is up and you are in the FOMO mood. I am still watching this Milky Way as it was just listed on exchanges, and how it performs will determine my reaction towards it.

If you haven't started DYOR, then the time is now. You can start with the above project and share your findings in the comments. We can interact and make good use of the platform.

Re: Who's attending token2049 in Dubai?
by
Ota.collins
on 28/04/2025, 16:20:57 UTC
So, TOKEN2049 is coming up. For those not familiar, it's a massive crypto and Web3 conference held in Dubai and Singapore, drawing thousands of founders, investors, and developers. It’s a big deal for networking, with tons of side events and parties where people make deals and swap ideas.

You get top-notch speakers like Vitalik Buterin, CZ, Justin Sun, Richard Teng, Erik Trump, and lots more attending. It’s also a stage for new projects to shine and a vibe check for the crypto world — bullish or skeptical. Basically, it’s the place to be if you’re into crypto, connecting the global scene and pushing innovation forward.

So, are you going? I saw someone win an all-expenses-paid trip, which was actually pretty cool haha. You attended last year's event; this year, let’s see — maybe I’ll have a last-minute change of heart.

I think I have seen the all-expense-paid trip on X too, and it was from the BG exchange handle, if I am not mistaken. I won't be attending physically, but will be present virtually and following up with updates about the event and what to expect in the next cycle of cryptocurrency.
