Re: Openledger launched: Will it be like the majority of AI projects?
by

How many people were waiting for the OpenLedger launch? If you were one of them, then congratulations, as it has been launched.

I think it is a good project, but being an AI project, I have no idea how far it can go as AI projects or AI in cryptocurrency are yet to be mature enough, and there are many AI projects with very little doing well.

You might want to give OPEN the benefit of the doubt and invest in the token, but do that with little capital after DYOR for sure. You can also maybe join events (there will be some, considering it just got launched), leverage these events, and get some OPEN reward.

The event is much better for a try. After monitoring the project, you can then decide to throw some capital into it. What do you think?

Ermm so far , judging from this chart, I'll say the launch has been solid.
https://i.ibb.co/ymw7kQrR/Screenshot-20250909-050937.jpg. But that could be due to the initial hype you know, I'll be monitoring this though probably get an entry soon. Since it's available on the platform I use most of the times to trade.. got any price prediction for $OPEN?.
No price prediction. The exchange you are using should have events that you can participate in. Newly listed tokens always get these events.

CEX adding on-chain utilities to their tokens
by
Ota.collins
on 03/09/2025, 03:53:17 UTC
I have always been a fan of CEX tokens and have posted about them here. I think they can yield more gains if invested in correctly, as the growth of their exchanges affects the development of their tokens.

And recently, some of these exchanges have begun to follow a similar path to BNB, adding on-chain utilities to their tokens. I think this will make their tokens even more attractive.

First, it was OKB; now it is BGB, which is the best-performing CEX token from last August to this August. I look forward to how these tokens perform and what the next development will be. What do you guys think about this?

Re: Is the metaverse trend back?

Meme coins are still the trend but which might probably later fade away but which could take a long period of time if there is nothing new that will make it not to remain as trend.

It has been long that I heard of metaverse projects but you saw only one should not make you have conclusion until you are seeing exchanges listing more metaverse tokens.

They are not trendy.
The project I saw is Secondlive (LIVE) and it is listed on exchanges already, from Bitget to many others. I am observing it trend as a positive chart might get others to launch, what do you think?

by

After the trend of NFTs and Metaverse projects, the trend slowly faded, and I haven't seen any new metaverse projects, but recently, I came across Secondlive, a decentralized metaverse platform built on the BNB Chain, and this fuels my curiosity, wondering if the metaverse trend is back.

Though the project is yet to be listed on exchanges, seeing it alone means either the trend is back, or the project wants to try out bringing it back. I am looking forward to seeing how this project performs when listed.

What do you guys think? Have you seen any metaverse projects of late? If yes, kindly share; if not, you can give your opinion on this.

Re: Will altcoin rally again?

The market has been down after the recent altcoin rally. I am looking at some altcoins I think will do well, but I would love your opinion if there will be another rally before I jump into investing in these altcoins.

Though I plan to risk something little, it would be great to have more opinions before I go about it. One of the altcoins I am big on is CYC. I came across CYC not long ago, and if there will be another rally, with its features and fundamentals, it would be a great addition to my portfolio.

With the token getting listed soon, I plan to wait for it to dip before getting in so I won't be the exist liquidity of big players. What do you guys think?

Tbh your question is broad and if believe you should drop the alts you're looking at first. For CYC, it's listed and price seem to be holding on good

There's also a candybomb opportunity for users to get trade and earn.. you can explore it
Yes, but I planned to wait for a retracement to the 50% fib ratio before making a move, what do you think? And what exchange are you using?

Wait, which altcoin rally are you referring to? Because if you mention altcoins, it means that this rally is generally felt by all coins or tokens in the market. However, the performance of altcoins is not very good; only Ethereum has experienced a significant increase so far, while the others are still below their initial offering prices. Perhaps we need to narrow the scope, for example, the top 10 on CMC so that we can see their performance clearly. There are many altcoins, and not all of them can recover as you claim.

CYC is a newcomer to the market, less than 48 hours old, and currently trading at around $0.06, not far from its initial launch price. However newcomers must first go through a dumping period, and some coins from the airdrop have not yet been fully sold. It may be better to wait for the ideal price to enter, at least until it stabilizes.

Aside from ETH, BNB, SOL, XRP, LTC, and others have experienced an amazing run. Yeah, I know CYC is still early, but I love to get in after they have dipped from airdrop sales. I sometimes mark from the highest price to the listing price and wait for the price to reach or trade below 50% of the Fibonacci ratio. I have done this for CYC on Bitget, and I am just waiting patiently, though sometimes some tokens just explode before reaching, but let's see how this goes.

Bitcoin is back bullish on the 1-hour time frame, do you think the resistance will hold still or we will see a new ATH? What do you think of IKA or altcoins in general?
All I see is resistance at some prices above $118000.
Okay, let's see how it goes. Are you looking at altcoins?

I do not think any announcements will make bitcoin get to all time high for now because bitcoin is below the strong resistance price for now which it is needed to break before getting to all time high.

Bitcoin needs to stay above $1200000 for a day or more to make it the support first. I do not care about any FOMC meeting today at all. The news will only have short term effect.

FOMC today: What do you think?
by

On X (Twitter), everyone seems to be predicting what will happen with FOMC today and how the market will react to it.

If it comes in favour of crypto, then we might see Bitcoin reaching another ATH, and Altcoins rallying well. I am positioning to long Bitcoin if this is the case. I am also eyeing IKA; I might get in, risking something small if Jerome Powell makes the FOMC in favour of cryptos.

What do you think will happen today? Do you think the rate will remain unchanged, or will it be cut?

BSC gaining recognition: CROSS in view
by
Ota.collins
on 30/06/2025, 16:12:04 UTC
The Binance Smart Chain is gradually gaining prominence as more projects are launched on it. It used to be dominated by the Ethereum blockchain, then Solana slowly took over. Will BSC be next?

Just out of curiosity, what do you guys think of CROSS, which is built on the BSC network, and it's a native token of a layer 2 blockchain project powering games and governance?

Though it is yet to be listed, I have been seeing many positive notes about the project on X, and I would like to know what you guys think.

Re: Are layer 1 blockchain projects a better investment for the current market?

I think for them to be really ahead of the pack, they are investing in something that has a backbone and good history in terms of being in the cryptocurrency space and not being controlled by a small number of people who could bring the price down to zero.

Do you have a specific project in mind that is not layer 1 to but could be a possible candidate for investments with the institutions?
Aside from layer 1 projects, I am big on exchange tokens. BGB and others.

I recently came across CESS Network, though yet to be on exchanges, they seem to present a good project, and it is also a layer 1 project.

What do you guys think?
CESS Network is still relatively new, even very new, so it has not been able to prove its success in the market to attract investors or users to use their network. Many L1s have emerged but their progress is slow or even died, instead of putting too much trust in new projects, you better hold back until you really understand what CESS Network is doing after its release on the market. CESS Network has just been registered on Bitget and that is not a guarantee of any kind to be able to prove itself as a worthy L1.
Please see here https://scan.cess.network/ is still vulnerable to manipulation by large holders who are ready to quickly take down new projects.

I get the point. I am watching how the token performs on the exchange you mentioned already.

Have you noticed that the market has been acting like it has no direction, but with institutions still accumulating bitcoin, ethereum, and other cryptocurrencies I think the market still has a last pump to make.

While observing this institutional accumulation, I have noticed that they are more into layer 1 projects: Ethereum, Solana, etc. So I think it will only be good to join them.

The market is bullish; different projects are getting launched.

The market is back bullish, and we are seeing the creation of multiple projects. The majority of the projects launching this period are to enjoy the bullish hype; only a few are worth investing in for the long term.

To be on the safe side, Bitcoin and some high-cap cryptocurrencies should be your major investment now, but if you want to invest in low-cap altcoins, then you might find B2 as a good project. Though B2 is a Bitcoin-native Layer-2 solution that looks to address Bitcoin’s scalability limitations, high transaction costs, and lack of smart contract functionality, you should not forget to DYOR.

If you have seen any other good altcoins with low cap and good potential, you can kindly share them in the comments.

Re: Bitcoin price 2029/2030 bull run?
by
Ota.collins
on 29/05/2025, 09:24:11 UTC
Currently, I do not own any Bitcoin but my plan is to sell all my altcoins later this year for (hopefully) decent profit and then buy Bitcoin only starting next year once it has crashed from the expected highs that we see later this year.

I am assuming 2029/30 will be a peak high as that would be the next bull run if the 4 year cycle was to continue.

What price do we think it can be then? I am expecting it to be at least $400k and if that happens I plan to sell all the Bitcoin I manage to acquire and pay off a big chunk of my mortgage (I bought my first house 18 months ago and want to pay it off asap).

The 4-year cycle will continue, but the bull run will start earlier than 2029. I like your plan, and I am hoping it works out well. You can also think about adding Ethereum (my opinion)

Preparing for the bear market with passive income
by
Ota.collins
on 27/05/2025, 15:41:24 UTC
While the market continues to trend bullish, we should forget that we are in another 4-year cycle, and usually in the first year, the market tends to create its ATH before the bear market begins.

While BTC and other tokens are doing well now, it would be smart to prepare for the bear market by holding stablecoins to earn yield, so profits earned and the capital can be used to invest when the market shows an opportunity to.

In search of a way to do this, I stumbled upon BGUSD, a certificate backed by a basket of RW assets that can be converted to USDC at a 1:1 ratio. It gives an APY of 5%, and its subscription is free for your first 30 days. I am curious to know if there are others so I can compare and contrast before making a decision. If you have found others, please share in the comments.

Curious to know what social media managers do in terms of crypto?
by

Have you been curious to know what social media managers do in terms of cryptocurrencies? I have found a good video that explains that.

If you are aspiring to become a social media manager for an exchange or a project, you can use this video to educate yourself, as in the video, the host answers popular questions from X (Twitter) about the role of social media managers and what they do. You can watch the video and drop your take in the comments.
