Are most scammers from Nigeria?
by
Outside Baby

So, I have heard many scammers are from Nigeria.

I am not trying to justify anything or anyone but when look deep in to insight, if Nigeria has the most scammer then the first thing to be looked at is the economy. Nigeria as a country has silently pasted “ your survival is your business” as their motto, no one really cares not even the government.

If you are not rich you cannot start a new business, if you don’t have the best connection you cannot get a good job in a big company. If you are not rich you cannot go the a good average school, if you are not rich you cannot study the course of you choice.. you most go for the best affordable course, if you are not rich you cannot dress properly, if you are not rich you cannot eat properly even chicken is no longer a regular man food cause it is expensive, if you are not rich you cannot think of owning a car or even renting one plus public bus is a topic for another day.

The reality of Nigeria is only the rich can survive.

In a country like this how and why won’t there be scammers even the government are frauds too they are only focused of getting all the money they can to preserve it for their generations. The hardship here is different.

There are no jobs, getting a loan is almost impossible if you don’t have a reliable source of income or any property to mortgage, many are dropout, many are graduates with out job, many did not even smell the coners of school, many cannot afford medical bills , many are starving and everybody wants to survive. So i wouldn’t say they are looking for quick money instead I would say they are all trying to survive.

The new verification law of nurses in Nigeria should be canceled because it is unfair for various reasons.

Nurses in Nigeria are very much under rated, let’s no talk about the whole stress nurses pass through while studying in Nigeria the school bills are extra despite the state of the economy.

It’s unfair.

Re: Single or Commited

This is one of the most debatable topics I feel.

There was a time when people used to respect each other and truly stand for one another.

As the time evolves, things have drastically changed. So many relationships nowadays just break because they get bored easily.

Commitment is too much to bear in this generation where you end up heartbroken all alone. Being single is like a free bird out of cage but with certain cons. In the end, we need someone to look out for or the love and care we crave. It's complicated stuff to say whether or not to be single or committed.

The world is getting cursed day by day. Smiley Cheers

Commitment. I prefer to know I am for someone and that person is for me and the feeling of being specially loved by someone aside your family is amazingly great.

I love commitment and I’d choose commitment over and over again.

Re: Money vs Education

Well people would and will go for money but just a question why do more than 90% of people think money is the greatest of all things?? in the world

Most people do say money is the reason why

human must have education is this true??

Cause from my own point of view education is the

key to success, but a second thoughts how many

millionaire's in your area’s  didn’t go to college and

they have made it without education, so does this

means education is a scam?

OP I leave this to you guys for more understanding

Money and education goes together, an illiterate is not capable of handling his finances and cannot think wide or broad therefore, that money is not expanding.

That’s why even the uneducated ones that luckily became rich always have a financial manager or a business adviser.

So at every given opportunity, always pick money and education.

Two candidates visited my office two days ago to submit their applications for the position of a health assistant. I had the honor of taking part in the interviews with them. After the interview, the candidate did very well, but the CMD chose to hire the male candidate because of his physical strength and height as the best contender for the position. He didn't even give the female applicant a chance to demonstrate her qualifications. What do you think about this?

The sooner women understand the fact the we can never be equals with the men the better.

Going to apply for a job that has to do with strength? and you are in competition with a man? How do you think you would get the job. It’s better we start getting the real taste of reality and stop leaving in fantasy.

Men were created to do the strenuous work… so please when applying for a job let’s be more realistic and get a peak in to reality to avoid wasting of time.

Re: Is politics really necessary?
by

Politics has become a business in some number of countries i know. Where people from younger to older age are all affected. They are doing politics to gain their power. In all these countries murders, fights, thefts, robberies have increased because they are doing these bad activities using political power.

Disadvantages of politics:
1. The number of your enemies will increase
2. It will be a waste of money.
3. Your time will be wasted.
4. You may have the possibility of death.
It’s so sad that people do not see the use of politics because of the pollution in that area and this those not exclude our “beloved” politicians, the purpose of politics was initially to gather group of men or woman who are thinkers and leaders and also who have great vision for the country and is willing to execute its great plan but instead the people put in these positions has just taken it as their family business.

For example Nigeria has so many resources and has no substantial reason to be a major debtor to any country but look!…politics is the strength and downfall of a country or society. It is a very important element but it’s so unfortunate that the people who have been entrusted to these positions have woefully failed.so sad.

I don’t blame anyone for presently thinking or asking themselves the use of politics in todays world because it has more of disadvantage than advantage.

Everyone is going for the bag instead of growth of the nation.

Day school or boarding school which is better for your child?

personally love boarding school only when it is a Military boarding school. I love it for my son even though he has his own choice but for the period I get to make decisions for him he will attend a military boarding school.

I have lots of people around me that inspired me to make such decisions… it’s not necessary my son has to join the force later in his future, but I personally love the kind of discipline they instill.

Or could I be wrong?

Other than investing in BTC, a happy wife is a happy life, which is so fn true  Grin how bout you?

Growing up as a little girl I was closer to my dad cause he was more available than my mum and there is this particular sentence (which I could call an advice now),he would always ring into our head “ NO MATTER HOW SMALL WHAT YOU HAVE IS JUST BE CONTENTED”, this sound like a disturbance while my siblings and I were little but now I am grown this is definitely the advice i would give my children when I finally have one.

The advice my dad always ring into our head was actually what made me into fine woman I am today.

God bless you for me daddy.

Re: WHAT IF?

What if our school just ends In ss3 after which every one learns a particular relevant trade without going to the university? Wouldn't it give our youth the ability to specialize more in their chosen field thereby making them more productive?

What if we don't need to hustle too much? We just get enough money that can feed ourselves and family and everyone just lives a simple lifestyle.

What if we have no leaders? We just do our thing and live our lives the way we want o.

What if we don't have any set out rule? We just live our lives according to our believe system?

We love bitcoin because of it decentralized nature right? What about living a life that is void of a third party interference?

What if everything we wished for came to pass? Would we all be truly happy?

No, no one would be truly happy if everything they wished for came to pass because, what you are wishing for might cause another person harm eg; ah! the weather is so hot I wish it rains now but what about those hawking on the streets?

If there were no leaders At all in Nigeria I think the state of Nigeria would be better now than then… because do you know the level of harm or evil that might be in one’s mind? Yes, no matter what, things are always better with rule than without rules.

Do you agree with me? You

Re: Hand work and skill or well paid government employee
by
Outside Baby
on 19/01/2024, 15:04:35 UTC
All you have just mentioned are actually factors that discourage some people from learning handwork, not knowing that a day will come when they will see the advantage of that handwork. To be precise, hand work now a days in Nigeria doesn’t need hard work only; you need to possess the ability to be smart. But that is what most of our people find hard to understand and think even if they try learning the handwork, they will end up getting nothing because many people have already engaged in the handwork they want to learn. If you are smart, even though thousands of people are doing the same handwork as you, if you create something new that almost all of them are doing the same work as you can’t do, you will achieve more than them.

But one thing I do consider as a factor that hindered some from learning this handwork is laziness, because if you are sure and you are ready to work, you will do all it takes to get what you want. As you mentioned earlier, some can’t engage in learning handwork because of their family background. I didn’t say it was not happening, but if you are ready to eradicate poverty in your family, you will engage, even if it is bricklaying or other construction work. You will gain some money and save some, which will help you to pay and buy some material to learn handwork.

To be sincere, handwork has done a lot for me so far. Because at first I learned male clothes sewing, when I was sure enough that I could sew the clothes well, I then engaged in learning female clothes. After that, I discovered that the number of people sewing in my area is greater than I thought. That is when I sit down and start thinking about something new that will bring me more money. That is when I start sewing joggers and hoodies. From there, almost all of the tailors in my area start looking for me so that I can teach them how to sew the joggers and hoodies. From there, the number of my customers decreased. That is when I start thinking about a new idea, which is now that I sew clothes, package them, and sell them as boutiques. At the same time, I started following some celebrities. When I see them with a new design, I will try to sew the same and sell it. If you are smart, you will achieve more with your handwork.

True… but I believe that everybody is built different there are some people who aren’t naturally business oriented while there are some who can simply glance at the wall and boom a whole lot of awesome ideas come to their head, it’s not something that is bad because it’s how the almighty created them… at the same time these same business oriented people might still not be good when it comes to a collar job and vice versa.

Everyone should know their strength and weakness because that’s the first step To becoming a successful entrepreneur or employee. Secondly, in the present state of Nigeria I can say confidently that starting a business without a strong support behind one is not as easy as it may sound. For example; man A who has just learnt a handwork and is trying to start a new business it’s won’t be so easy if he doesn’t have a backbone in terms of finances…. This is one of the hinderance and why people go for a white collar job.

But considering the state of Nigeria economy it’s not advisable to have a handwork to fall back to at anytime.
