Re: Why do people avoid bitcoin?
by
PANK21
on 15/10/2020, 09:24:13 UTC
I do notice that some people naturally don’t allow bitcoin in any of their daily transactions even when it faster and easier, they still don’t prefer using it, I have noticed this a lot, Some classes of human,Sometimes when they are to receive money from another country like international transfer sometimes it takes 2 3 days to arrive,They will advise them to use bitcoin and they still don’t accept it even it faster and easier. Now how come we make bitcoin come to people.
i don't think they are avoiding it , they are just scared to try something new. Some people still stick with their accustomed way of receiving or depositing money. Either you teach them how or explain it to them, they would still do the things they are accustomed to or experienced. If you show them some comparison about receiving money in bitcoin and other transactions, perhaps that would change their minds.

Re: How to make old people understand Bitcoin?
by

on 14/10/2020, 07:35:17 UTC
I'm looking for the easiest way to make old people understand Bitcoin more thoroughly. I want to let the elderly know about the "Bitcoin revolution", yet I find it quite challenging to explain it to them in a way they can understand how it all works. There are some wallets that have a "user-friendly" interface, but even the basics of sending/receiving Bitcoin can have a steep learning curve for the older people. A Bitcoin wallet with built-in accessibility features, could help even elder people with vision or hearing problems to use the pioneer cryptocurrency in their daily lives.

If you happen to know of a way to make old people understand Bitcoin easily, please let me know. Any suggestions or recommendations will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley
I think the best way to teach them is to let them experience all the process. I mean EXPERIENCE is the best teacher. Try to explain them how it works as simple as possible and then let them do the process. Explain only the necessary things about bitcoin and how it works , be sure not to overload them information that is a lot to process. I'm sure they will understand it, eventually. You can also teach it to the younger ones because they are the future.

Coronavirus has made us stay home for months now, Bitcoin's price rised while most stocks crashed. Bitcoin's price rise probably has something to do with Coronavirus, People are staying home, buying things online to avoid contact with other people. My question is are more people being initiated to Bitcoin and are Bitcoins scams more frequent because of covid-19?
I totally agree with you.Due to pandemic, bitcoin got the attentions of the people who are terrified to go outside and just want to use online transaction to buy their needs. Bitcoin is very easy to use and hassle free, that is why bitcoin is the most used digital crypto  all over the world.Well, on the positive side COVID 19 help other people to appreciate Bitcoin because of our situation right now BITCOIN really helps us to survive this pandemic just by staying home and help not spread the virus. Re: Is bitcoin truly moving forward?

Sometimes I do notice that bitcoin experience some issues while increasing in value, Bitcoin have increased to $15,000 $20,00. Now we find bitcoin going low, Now I want us to understand no matter how dollar fall it can be as bitcoin, What is the solution of getting this solved?,if bitcoin is Depreciating in value let it not be much, because the falling of bitcoin really scare people away. Would you be happy if you purchase bitcoin worth $15,000 and in the next few months bitcoin is $5,000, would you be happy?. Let look into this and stop deceiving ourselves buy saying we are Investors, Gold investors don’t experience this at all, if bitcoin we go forward then we most know our stand.
I think you are confused about the "moving forward". It doesn't mean that if the bitcoin price becomes low it is not moving forward. The value has nothing to do about the bitcoin moving forward. Have you heard about the Bitcoin core ? You can search it on google. This means that bitcoin is truly moving forward. You don't say something moving forward because of the value, you have to know the development in order to know that if its really moving forward. A little advice, buy bitcoin when it is cheap and try to search about the bitcoin price drop and pump. It's all about timing.Always remember ,investments include risks!.

Re: Do they use our computers for CPU mining?

Hello bitcoin talkers!

I am a gambling fan who has almost tried all the gambling websites that exists. I love trying strategies, playing with numbers, studying probabilities and coding my strategies projections with R  Grin Tongue Roll Eyes
When I start an autobet in different websites, I mentioned that the temperature of my PC is HIGH  Shocked
I checked the system monitor and I found this! (I am using Ubuntu)

If you try to end one of them, the webpage will crash.

Websites that I tried for this experiment:
- Luckyfish.io
- Wolf.bet

Do you think that they are using our computers of CPU mining?
Nonsense, gambling sites does not use our computers for CPU mining. Most likely, if they were going to mine bitcoin surely they will use high specs of mining device. Most of the gambling sites nowadays uses high quality graphics interface which cause your PC to overheat and obviously this kind of sites will definitely consumes a lot of RAM. My PC specs are 16gb RAM and it's still lagging when i visit gambling sites. I suggest you upgrade your PC, mostly recommended is gaming PC.

Re: How to Spend Bitcoin?
by
PANK21
on 08/06/2020, 04:29:07 UTC
Hi Y’all,

I don't know how about you guys but I'm really bored being quarantined in my flat. So I did the “Best” thing possible. I started to shop online. I had some bitcoins left so I decided to spend them as well.

And it turned out that was an adventure in itself.  Roll Eyes

So I compiled my favorite options of spending bitcoins in an article, which I managed to publish on Paybis.

In case you are interested, you can check it out here: https://paybis.com/blog/how-to-spend-bitcoin/

I’d like to turn this post the best one on the topic, so I’d appreciate some
recommendations as to what other spending methods I should add.

Thanks and see you around after this quarantine ends!

There is nothing wrong using btc to shop online as long as you are happy and get rid of your boredom but think wisely, we are in a pandemic crisis now. In my opinion, i think it's better to save or invest that bitcoin you had left. Don't let the boredom get into you. Instead, trade it or invest it so that you can gain some profits or even much more. This is just my opinion, besides it's up to you but i strongly advice to not make any hasty decision in the future. Keep safe everyone!.

Re: Bitcoin Price Will Drope With Time - Sell Your Bitcoins Now - Be Smart
by
PANK21
on 07/06/2020, 20:54:39 UTC
Bitcoin price will drop with time due to transfer time, which now can be up to 3 or 4 days, with average fee 0.0002 BTC. Therefore people will switch to altcoins, which are much more fast, and Bitcoin price will drop, altcoin price will go up. Bitcoin Cash transfer for example take 20 minutes, Doge  - 10 minutes. So this is time to sell your Bitcoins !!!
Another reason will be - large miner farms mine Bitcoins, but Bitcoin user group is the same and not expanding, so Bitcoins just loose its value due to large scale mining too.

I think it's the opposite of what you're saying. Right now, the best thing to do is to buy bitcoin. We all know that its price drops because of every 4 years halving . Not to mention that it's price varies ovetime. On the otherhand, you cannot predict the price of the bitcoin. Some chooses to invest in bitcoin rather than altcoin even if the price drops because they believe that bitcoin is going to pump up again after the halving.

Re: BITCOIN AS A DIGITAL GOLD
by
PANK21
on 07/06/2020, 20:25:06 UTC
Bitcoin is referred to as a digital GOLD because of its value. But for me, bitcoin is a digital currency. We used bitcoin to promote the fastest way or method of transaction as possible. Besides, bitcoin has surpassed the value of digital gold either or it is an asset that can be used as an online payment transaction these days. Technically speaking,we cannot know the cap of gold so we can't really compare it to bitcoin.

Re: Why lots of people got scam easily
by
PANK21
on 07/06/2020, 17:53:57 UTC
Things why a person can easily get scammed in crypto-world

1. Greed
2. No knowledge about the project
3. Trust

This are the three main reason why they get easily scam
Greed, because there are a lot of promise by the campaign and the developer we easily believe that its true
investing a lot of money in the project that is garbage.
No knowledge also is the second reason because of the trend they just go and invest without any knowledge of the said project
Trust because they trust the people in the project which sometimes pretends that the person is a member of the project
they can easily decieved that once they invest , they will soon find out that the person is just impersonating , and not really
what all expected.

Another things that can easily get people scam is that they get blinded by the big rewards and lots of giveaway, this leads to hasty decision and will definitely neglect all the things that are important to do like checking the ICO , reviewing the whitepaper and also conducting some research about the specific campaign or company. Thus, being aware these days are also included.

Re: Think before joining any campaign

on 07/06/2020, 12:10:55 UTC
I came across AZBI network bounty few days back and I bookmark the page so I can join later and that will be my first bounty on this forum but I noticed a lie about the project, below is the link to the project

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5243303.0

It's said they are listed on the bounty thread but after going to the exchange where thy claimed to have listed (UNISWAP) I can't find any token called AZBI on the exchange platform, even the second listed exchange called Bamboorelay has no single volume at all.

To me this is a very poor bounty project, they used uniswap name to deceive those who are too quick or haste to make money, there is no demand for this token, it's a dead end, I'm glad I spend my time doing few digs if not I would have joined the campaign.

A good lesson learnt here
Trusting quickly is quite troublesome. Glad to see you check it first before joining. Sometimes they create a good scam campaign that others cannot notice or wasn't able to notice because they got baited in quick and lots rewards giveaways. Spread awareness and always review campaigns before joining if you had a doubt.

Re: Cryptocurrency fraud and scams
by
PANK21
on 07/06/2020, 10:35:05 UTC
how they happen and how you need to pay attention to safeguard yourself against them.
The Computer Science saw a different phase when cryptography mechanism was introduced with Bitcoin. With this big of a change, threats of fraud increased, to safeguard from these malicious activity is extremely important. Startups without blockchain should not be trusted at all. Before committing to any company, their credentials should be reviewed.
There are many fake ICOs that can scam people easily. The best way is to do research before being affiliated to that exchange. Another way is to send an email and ask about the exchange to be cautious. Phishing is another way to scam people, by asking their details and asking them to invest their Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency. Fake Airdrops and Punycode are most common tricks.
There are many unregulated brokers that can lure clients in lower prices and trading products and fast returns. So, one needs to be vigilant. The automated trading systems are not scams but  they will take any opportunity to earn profits. Exchanges will charge an unfair amount to withdraw, the best way to avoid is to already be aware of exchanges price differences.
Fake emails look so authentic but at the end they are still fake. Check every bit of information before acting upon it. Many companies copy and paste some other company’s whitepaper, rather than having an original idea of their own.
Most exchanges use fake information for their team members. To be careful one must look for incomplete or inconsistent information and odd details.Inconsistent texts or details on any part of the website is also a red flag. One should read and proofread to be sure.
People should run scans to look for any Bitcoin miner or bot in the system. Companies will do anything for money, to ensure safety and security right websites should be used. There is a lot of responsibility one needs to practice in order to be careful.

This is absolutely right. Too much scammers and fraudulent people involves in bitcoin. Awareness is also important. I also agree with you about the company and ICO review. These days you can't suddenly trust an ICO because they are giving high and lots of rewards. Also avoid suspicious email links that makes you click and phishing websites that stole your private keys and other important info. This will help a lot of members here in bitcoin forum.

Re: High rewards still possible in bounties?
by
PANK21
on 06/06/2020, 12:07:25 UTC
Is high rewards like 350,000$ for bounty hunters still possible this days? I know it's all down to the success of the project but is this still achievable? How many successful projects with such reward paid hunters since 2018 that you know?
That high rewards like 350k$ for bounty hunting is not possible these days. Since 2018-2019 came many bounties has not been trusted due to the high scam rating. Most promising projects doesn't pay that much also. Im not generalizing but these days bounty campaign are for 90% advertising, rewards that are promised to the bounty hunters are not a priority. Some bounty coins are very likely to become shitcoins because of dumping. I dont know how many successful projects in 2018 but i hope they get paid fair and square.

Re: Recent update about bitcoin

Hello, I am back to this forum after fighting against corona, finally I can be here again.

So, what are the recent updates about bitcoin and what do you expect to happen in one year from now?
Good to see you've recovered from the corona virus. The bitcoin is still the same, its price varies from time to time. Rather than directly asking here, you can read some articles about the recent updates in bitcoin. Actually there was a halving, it means that the amount of bitcoin mined every 4 years or after 210k transactions reduces by 50%.  You can read some articles about it for more information. Keep safe!

Re: Possible to still make money from Airdrops ???
by

on 06/06/2020, 01:37:25 UTC
Out of 70 Airdrops I promote since 2018 only 15 paid me good reward, I've been a full time Airdrop Hunter until someone tell me to come on here, anyway to make more free coins ? Is Airdrop still good ? Tell me ways to make free coins without investing a dime, thanks
I've also been an airdrop hunter since 2018. Back then  airdrops still paying solid rewards , i made 100$ a day by filling up forms and making posts about the specific topic given. These days you can't rely on airdrop anymore, obviously some airdrops nowadays are shitcoin. I suggest you stop wasting time airdrop hunting and join in legit campaigns that has a good pay. Also make sure to read some info about the campaign cause some of them are perhaps, SCAM.

Sorry for your loss. Hope that you learned for that mistake you've made. Always remember that RISKS is always involve when investing, Im sure that others can relate to your situation as well , some people had been through that instance. As a fellow co-member of this forum I suggest that before you invest into something you've watched online , do some research and create an effective way of gaining profits rather than losing every btc you owned. In that way, you can make sure that Risks involve will lessen and you can gain more profits in the near future.

Re: If the price of bitcoin increases
by
PANK21
on 04/06/2020, 08:58:26 UTC
After I read from a number of trusted sources and it turns out I get information, if the total number of bitcoins in circulation is 21,000,000. but if demand continues to increase, this number will be added again.

and the My question is very simple ...

Who will increase the amount of bitcoin, if then the demand increases ??
Did they Is make this bitcoin, actually ??
Can you please provide the link of where you got that trusted source and information. I assume you misunderstood what you've read. The 21,000,000 is not the circulation, it's the maximum supply cap. that means only 21 million bitcoins can be mine in total. Currently, total number of bitcoin circulation is 18.5 million so that means we they only have 2.5 million left to mine. Some articles also include that because people have lost their private keys or have died without leaving their private key instructions to anybody, the actual amount of available bitcoin in circulation could actually be millions less.

There are so many reasons why people are afraid investing in bitcoin. Even if they are planning to, they will carefully calculate the output and analyze the result of their investment. For me, one of the reason that they are afraid investing in bitcoin is that they still dont know more about bitcoin. Maybe they're still understanding or learning how to create a effective way of investing to bitcoin. Still they're afraid because they might failed in the future but keep in mind that if you are investing to something RISKS are always involve. For a certain time, investment is either failed or successful, up to you what approach you'll use.
