How much will it cost to use your sources to get the e-mail of a BTC user called "raiuk".  He is FUDster who has cost some Romanian individuals some money. They wish to have a friendly conversation with him.  The e-mail address is all that is necessary. PM me and we will work something out.

What are you talking about what source? Midas will never give private information good luck.
They won't give it, they'll just steal it...

Well, let's see how the market will react to these news. You panda guys are totaly insane.
Panda guys? I'm not a panda, nor am i involved in that idiotic coin.

The scammers behind this coin (you being one of them?) stole my email address and got me here, and still haven't owned up to how they got a hold of our emails.

Some wisdom here.

+1

Taking the day off, enough of Bitcointalk for today.

Have a nice day.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Je-CPZRwbh8
reading this thread reminded me of this song!

Now let's get to the problems.

1. I think you guys(Midas) should pay that person 10BTC or at least half ... because he is right

2. Make this coin available for everyone to mine even from outside (I'm sure you can redirect them to the coin of your choice, if you don'tknow how to do this just put another bounty and someone will teach you how)

3. If you(Midas) bought the email addresses than give an ultimatum of 72 hours to the seller to come out and be a man with balls and say "We sold your email addresses! Live with it!"

4. If you(Midas) hacked some database and took the emails from there then just tell us from where because security is important for us!

5. I feel neglected, I even registered on your pool and no one emailed me! Sad

P.S. If you(Midas) are afraid people will mine and dump your coin look at FATEcoin .... they had an important way of dealing with the whale miners ... everyone got the same difficulty at CPU and same at GPU mining and if you mined to fast then you ended up on the wrong chain .... and everyone had a fair chance at mining that coin .... of course the coin died because people couldn't take advantage of it, but use that to make your coin better.

If you do all this then I guess people will look at you with more respect!

The idea behind Midas is good in my opinion, but it still has some work to do!

Some wisdom here.

What is the thing with the emails? sounds shady...

Regards
Many people received emails about 24 hours before the release of midascoin. Some people claimed to not have used the address they received on except for certain things, such as signing up for cryptorush. There has been no explanation on how they got a hold of our emails.

I've never heard of this person, and you're only JUST NOW mentioning them?

Just now?

Where are all the supposed research done about Midascoin and Midas Payment Ltd?

So we should just believe you that this whole sham is for real because of one guy you make up claims about. Has ANYONE heard of this guy before? Should I even care?

Where did you get our email addresses?

Do you understand that calling us scammers, you are calling as scammer Icanprogram
of fedoracoin fundation, our executive developer?

Probably the most respected cryptocurrency developer in all the cryptocommunity,

Is there really anything to say? Icanprogran is the last of his kind, the kind of developer that never gets involved in any shady cryptocurrency projects. His background is known and his reputation on the crypto community is a bright light that inspire us all.

You cannot keep ignoring facts for long.

Try to call him scammer too, and let's see if the developers community back you this time.

Judge - Mister defendant, can i ask a question? ARE YOU FOR REAL?!
Judge - The doors is here, and please let 5000$ for procedural abuse.
Judge - Thank you, have a nice day.

I get your point, but you condone impersonating a brand in this way?

You seem to be smarter then average, and i assume you are on our side on this matter

You just did a big mistake using Midas Payment Ltd company brand in your Post as it was your brand, or as you has a grant to use our company brand, impersonating us without any legal assignment for perform such action.

Opinion are one thing, trademark infringement and  brand impersonation  are far more complex  matter and cannot be tolerated.

Have a nice day

- Backed by imaginary gold reserve.

- No Premine. No IPO. No dump on exchanges. (for two weeks)

This coin was on my radar, then I did some investigating.

Because of this: https://github.com/MidasPaymentLTD/midascoin/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L1778
This disallows ANY pool or solo miner from using their own address for a block to be accepted.

Now, skip ahead to here: https://github.com/MidasPaymentLTD/midascoin/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L4290
You CAN mine, but it wont matter what address you or the pool uses, it will automatically go to the 'tax address.'

Now, this is NOT decentralized. Sure, the VERIFICATION of blocks and transactions is decentralized, CONFIRMS are not. Confirms are when blocks confirm each other in the hashchain.

Since you cannot have a different publickey for an address to generate a block (or have it be accepted by the network at any rate) block generation is centralized.

As per the twitter: https://twitter.com/MidasPay/status/509471382871494656
Image ref: http://puu.sh/bsK4G/e04f5782cd.png

Please send the 10 BTC to this address: 1QuinngrXdsMWM3tejsWqrEJYPDF5ZccW

Again the statement to prove is "only central pool/node can confirm blocks/transaction"

Maybe you didn't noticed, but twitter has a link to this same forum, that specify the statement, why you keep playing on words?  Do it for real!   That's not an ethic discussion of what mean centralized, there is a precise statement!

Prove that only central node can confirm/authorize transactions and you get the bounty.

Challenge is here and is not going anywhere

Prove that only central node can confirm/authorize transactions and you get the bounty.

So publicly stating personal info of a person who's personal info is publicly available on a WHOIS site is something that could cause legal action? Holy shit! I'm gonna be in so much trouble for posting that screenshot of his domain's WHOIS info!

Not at all. Public domain is public domain. He can cry all day long.

But you know what's not public? The email address they used to alert me about this scam. At least now we know to whom the real legal litigation should be pointed:
https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fimg.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fv238%2Fjitrif%2Fscam_zpsdaa2ee1f.jpg&t=544&c=Hv-toOqi77oJmQ

(Edit: ok, so not sure which linked in address was him. removed.)

I love the street name, "fiume del perle", something musical in it ♫♫, remind of Chopin Funeral March
It looks pretty too!

There is no "us."  There is one guy, Giuseppe 'Joe' Liberati, who is a scammer working out of a purchased London address (an address that is known to host scam companies).

By the way, here is the private message he sent me when I wondered where he got my email, a question he has not answered (boldface mine):

Hello,

By law, you have the full right of know how your data has been acquired, but this request is beyond reach of public department.

contact: privacy@midaspay.io  with your request.

I will escalate your email quickly for get proper priority.

Regards

Of course, I still haven't gotten an answer from the help desk. Roll Eyes
London Address, domain registered in Rome. My question about this (on page 20 and 24) was not answered. However, it wasn't until page 31 that he offhandedly mentioned that:

Quote
Gold is dispatched usually from our partners in Rome.

So he lives in Rome, but the business is in Britain?

If you believe the devs this is worth mining now.  But just remember the only way it will succeed long term is if it IS NOT profitable to mine.  So you could take a chance and mine, hope you get payed out before the devs run out of money (or hope that the hash increases enough to fund the devs to pay you. They probably have money to pay for a while. So it will APPEAR legit soon. But in time it WILL crumble..
I will admit that I got caught up in a scam like this. GPU coin had an officially licensed business in the US. They had a website and sounded very official/serious. They offered IPO and sent out GPU's to people (at first) who bought them or won in giveaways.

But then it turns out that they only sent a couple, and that they were just instantly reselling the coins sent to them in purchases in order to profit. One day they just disappeared and hundreds of people were left wondering when their GPU was gonna ship... It wasn't until after a couple weeks when people weren't receiving shipping notifications, and then the coin crashed and Game Over man.

Edit: I will give them the courtesy of stating that this COULD, "COULD", possibly not be a scam. But even if it's not a scam, it'll fail because they're doing it wrong.

I'm pretty sure that MidasCoin has turned into the "broken record" that he accused us of. At least this makes him more professional/corporate.

1.) We pushed him with serious questions, he wouldn't answer.
2.) We (I) turned it into trolling to poke harder, he broke.
3.) He gets emotional, exposes this scam further, no new answers to our questions.
4.) He realizes his mistake, turns into a broken record after attempts at a "last word".
5.) ? ? ?
6.) Still makes profit off the scammed.

Sadly, BTCspoon, I don't think you'll get your reward. This team, or at least this PR guy, don't seem to understand how crypto's and real decentralize networks actually work.
