Analysts Uses His Cat To Predict Which Crypto Currency Will Moon Next

I find this funny, because a lot of "traders" try to use useless TA strategies in this market. Why not let the cat decide? You have about the same odds lol...What do you guys think of this? Is the cat right or wrong with its prediction?

Tether Tied To Bitcoin Rise?
by
PHDJarrod12
on 28/06/2019, 02:26:57 UTC
So there's a conspiracy theory going on that talks about how tether may be responsible for the rise in bitcoin (https://tipestry.com/topics/5d110b8313fe3c5fa63e0fd9/completely-natural). I think the initial rise over 4K may have been due to whales, but regardless BTC blasted through heavy resistance levels. Do you guys think this was a planned move by whales, tether based, or the beginning of what could be the next bull run?

Russian Ministry Of Finance Considers Allowing Crypto Trading
by
PHDJarrod12
on 23/06/2019, 19:54:33 UTC
Honestly, Bitcoin looks fairly unstoppable at this point (until the whales dump it into oblivion). If crypto is the future, then Bitcoin will survive as a form of digital gold. I know ppl say "bitcoin can't be silenced", but if it gets banned everywhere, then the price will never rise to what some believe it could be worth.

Any Use Cases For This Particular Crypto?
by
PHDJarrod12
on 28/05/2019, 15:28:14 UTC
So I bought this crypto because it allowed me to use an online service called Wolfpackbot. Recently, I've just decided to purchase the hardware option of the bot instead of using the online version (it;s more convenient for me), so I no longer need my coins for the monthly subscription. Aside from the monthly subscription, I can't really see any use cases for this coin. If I wouldn't have bought the physical version of the bot, then I would keep them, but I don't need them anymore so I was looking to sell. Any suggestions? On their site it shows a dollar amount, but I would need to find an exchange to trade them on to actually attain that dollar value for my coins (https://www.wolfpackbot.com/).

Any Decent Exchanges?
by
PHDJarrod12
on 26/05/2019, 13:48:01 UTC
After the Binance hack, I no longer use Binance. Delayed withdraws, hacks, ect. I just don't want to deal with them anymore. So, with that being said, I want to find a new exchange for my crypto needs. I also, am not a fan of Coinbase/Coinbase Pro due to their Bitcoin Cash fiasco. I've been reading about several exchanges and HITBTC is one that keeps popping up. It seems like it has a decent amount of positive sentiment surrounding it (https://tipestry.com/topics/5ce9b551e528302571b89464/hitbtc-possibly-insolvent,-claims-new-report). What do you guys think? Is it worth using? Have any of you ever used this exchange?

Who Would Really Buy Facebook Coin?

Honestly, who would buy this? Serious question! I've been reading about it and I don't see how Facebook can create a coin that upholds the values crypto portrays (censorship free currency).

Bitcoin, ETH, and XRP To Become Mainstream By 2024?

How plausible do you think this is? https://tipestry.com/topics/5cdf21bef8abf15fcdee649a/sneak-peek-2024-is-absolutely-the-year-bitcoin-becomes-mainstream
I would think we would become mainstream by 2021 or 2022. By mainstream, I don't mean 100% adoption or the extinction of the dollar. What I mean is, Bitcoin being used more and known by consumers.

Can Fidelity's Crypto Service Launch BTC Past $1,000
by

I was browsing Tipestry earlier and seen a user post about Fidelity and the impact it would have on the crypto community (https://tipestry.com/topics/5cd260fe5d08313913a229da/fidelity%E2%80%99s-institutional-crypto-services-launch-could-easily-boost-bitcoin%E2%80%99s-btcusd-value-by-2k). It got me thinking about the future for BTC. What is the ceiling? How high do you guys think BTC could go? 5, 10, 15, 20 years from now? I know this is just an educated guess, but what do you guys think?

There's a ton of exit scam ICO's within this community. Anytime a crypto enthusiasts tries to speak up, they are usually silenced by the deceptive company. With Tipestry, you can now comment on any page without the fear of being censored. You can also tip users in crypto if you like what a specific user says. I encourage any of you to start speaking up about companies that are scamming users. Companies are STILL scamming users to this day...if you see something suspicious use Tipestry to expose them to the community.

Re: This Crypto Should See A 20% Gain Soon
by
PHDJarrod12

NTS is so unknown and with so low volume that it's pointless to look it serious. You can't make any correct analysis on a coin where 1BTC trading volume pick would move the price with XXXX % -/+. Just invest your money in some live alt or ICO.

I made over 1 BTC trading NTS from 700 SATS to around 1300 SATS. You're right tho, you can make so much more money in BTC. If you invest $4,000 into BTC today you might have $4,020 in the next 6 months! That's a $20 gain  Grin

I look at charting parameters and volume. If you're just looking at daily volume, then you're missing easy money, but do whatever you are comfortable doing  Shocked

This Crypto Should See A 20% Gain Soon
by

NTS is hovering around 800 SATS right now. I believe NTS will rise above 1000 SATS in the near future, here's why

1 - Strong support

NTS has been holding 800 SATS for the past 2 weeks. There's a high amount of buy action around that support. Resistance around 900 SATS looks fairly weak, if buyers emerge I can see NTS heading towards the 1000 SAT mark with ease.

2 - Overall Market Sentiment

Quality projects have been getting a boost lately. BTC rebounded up from $3400 and LTC has seen some positive growth within the past few weeks. NTS is also up from 500 SATS which was its January low.

3 - Further exchange enhancements/developments

The Nauticus exchange is the exchange that utilizes NTS. If Nauticus continues to grow, then NTS should follow suit. The Nauticus exchange has made huge strides in the past month to enhance their exchange's capabilities. I think these enhancements will continue to help the NTS price.

4 - Buy orders vs Sell orders

If you analyze this chart (https://nauticus.exchange/exchange/NTSBTC) it's pretty easy to see the buy orders are overwhelming the sell orders. An order book doesn't necessarily determine the trend, but it can serve as a strong sign

What do you guys think based on my analyses?

How To Tell If An ICO Is Legitimate Or Not
by
PHDJarrod12
on 10/02/2019, 23:35:19 UTC
Steps:
Step 1 - Wait
Step 2 - Wait some more
Step 3 - Wait until the ICO releases
Step 4 - Watch the price and wait until it stabilizes
Step 5 - Decide if you want to buy

Why is this concept so hard for people to understand? Out of all the ICO's that were successful last year, I can think of maybe 3 that rose above ICO price after they released. Those 3 are GRIN, Nauticus, and the BTT (BitTorrent). That's about it, meaning if you guys invested in these other projects you probably lost some of your money. Why wouldn't you wait to see if the price decreases? Maybe the project doesn't even release! Now you're out a ton of money with no coins...not a wise choice guys. Patience is a virtue!

Nauticus - https://nauticus.exchange/exchange/

Re: Will Fiat on-ramps Help Nauticus's NTS token Moon?
by
PHDJarrod12
on 09/02/2019, 12:11:46 UTC
Depends, fiat on ramps can be a good or bad thing. good means that it might moon the coin, bad means more regulation so harder to moon. And i dont think that the australian government is too keen to let a random cryptocurrency to get fiat-on-ramps

Nauticus is registered with AUSTRAC so that isn't an issue

and also I get it bleeds BTC's market cap but theres better things than BTC in some sense and BTC is becoming a store of value

BTC has no real use cases anymore. I believe it has first movers advantage and will continue to be a store of value. As far as Nauticus do you know what types of fiat currencies they’re adding?

Re: Can New Projects compete with the established ones?
by
PHDJarrod12

I have not really seen a new project that was able to compete well with the existing ones in 2018. Most of them failed as they were just launched to be sold and cashed out.

The only two I invested in for 2018 were Nauticus and Swachhcoin. Swachhcoin still hasn't released yet...go figure. Nauticus gave me some gains tho which I am happy about. I think they have a future in this industry if they play their cards right.

Re: STOP With The ICO Garbage
by

Yes, I like your thoughts. I also do not understand how people continue to invest in projects. I see a lot of information that project tokens are worth nothing. Even as a hunter, I see that one of the 100 projects pays.

I think we all need a new strategy.

I used to be a bounty hunter too, sadly only 1/10 projects I worked on actually paid. The project paid me, then dumped 90% within the first 4 days. It just isn't worth my time to do anymore lol. I completely agree  Shocked

More and more people are getting annoyed with the icos especially due to slow and low last year, most of ico investors from last year are in massive loss and now people want to get rid of all these ico based projects and looking for better alternative and this space may well be filled by security tokens offerings or stos, where the investor becomes a shareholder, part owner and is able to receive profits generating by the project, i think sto model is both more suitable and attractive for investors and next trend seems to be the sto.

I agree, I think an STO model is better suited for retail investors in this space. You're investing into something that isn't just an "idea".

STOP With The ICO Garbage
by
PHDJarrod12
on 31/01/2019, 19:48:19 UTC
There's way to many ICO's that are literally trash. Idk how people invest in some of these projects. It's honestly a joke... The Bittorrent ICO would have been a good one to invest in just because of the hype behind it. If the token goes to $0 in a few months it would still be worth it because people are tripling their investment within a few days (probably not worth buying right now, but do your own research). Those type of ICO's are 1 in 1,000,000. The majority of the ICO's people are investing in are pure garbage. They have no utilitarian uses and they have weak fan-bases. I can't comprehend why people don't wait until POST ICO release, THEN analyze the platform and decide whether or not to invest. Doesn't this sound like the best logical solution? Sometimes even quality ICO's dump and you can pick some up for pennies on the dollar "fire sale".

This was a quality ICO, don't believe me? Look at the chart, strong buy action with low sell pressure and you could have picked some up for dirt cheap and doubled your money within days - https://nauticus.exchange/exchange/BTCAUD

Quote "Unlike most competing exchanges, Nauticus has already met the regulatory requirements to enter the security token field. We are already a registered representative of an Australian Financial Services Licensee which enables us to tokenize assets.

But what does it mean to ‘tokenize’ an asset?

One good example is property. Instead of a developer preselling 12 units to 12 buyers ‘off the plan’ to fund an apartment block, the developer may instead choose to create 1200 tokens, each of which represents 1/100th of an apartment and sell them instead. The immutable and unfalsifiable nature of blockchain means investors can have 100% faith in their token’s value.

And it’s not just apartment blocks, everything can be tokenized including shares in a company or commodities like gold and lithium."

Do you think this will help Develope Nauticus into a Securities powerhouse or that this is just another attempt to stand out from the crowd? Doesn't LAtoken do Tokenization of assets as well?
Can this backfire for U.S. citizens by chance?

I'm excited for STO's, but ONLY if they ACTAULLY have tangible products and are NOT like ICO's. As far as Nauticus goes, the exchange has made me money so far, I have no complaints. I'm currently gearing up to buy some more NTS once I get paid. The main issue is if BTC rises, then I expect NTS to move a few legs up as well.

It's important to realize STO's and Asset tokenization are differen't STOs MAY be coming to NAuticus but Tokenization is certainly coming to it.

How high do you think it could go in 3-6 months? Do you think it could double?

This makes me wonder if they list STOs will Americans be able to buy in? Probably not. The only benefit I see for Americans is the Price of Nauticus token potentially mooning if they incorporate their token into buying somehow.
