Hey guys... we are still here, coin still works just fine,, theres just some out there who have to go to work and have families and stuff. We havent stopped working on PLEB, and would like to hear some suggestions, contributions, and I personally would like to work on a video to support the "peoples coin" Thanks.

Hello Plebeians,

We apologize for the delay in our future plans. We would like to paint a picture of the future for you, We cant get to specific as it could prove to be harmful to our development process as copy cats are lurking.  What i can say is that we are developing QT (wallet) features that will fit into the idea of "By the People For the People" these features will be useful to you in your daily life, and have not been done by a coin before. We are currently working on a road map and will have an update to progress with more details before 9/1/14. If you have issues getting a hold of us here please drop us a line on twitter we are very active there. We may be a little quiet but rest assured we are working hard in the background to make PLEB a very successful alt currency.

We are also looking to expand the team with talented Devs as some of the Features are pretty complex and the extra hands are always great. We do have pre-mine to offer to those willing to help push PLEB to the next level.


We appreciate all the support of those still holding through this rough time and again apologize for the lack of communication we will continue to try to be more public facing in the future.

Your are fine, all is well! This has already been answered in a previous post from ocminer:



So in other words, your will not lose any coins by being over the threshold. Just get your new wallet running and then when you are all set up make a new receive address in the wallet, copy/paste it to your Suprnova account, and make your withdrawal 

The Mac wallet is bounty has been claimed, thank you for your interest!

Do NOT use unofficial clients, it's a bad idea for a multitude of reasons.

Please update your client with the instructions provided above ^^

Block reward issue fixed, and checkpoint has been added to ensure proper blockchain. Please download the new wallet (Windows) from link above.

Pool operators: Please update your daemon/wallet with fixed source code: https://github.com/Plebcoin/Plebcoin.git


IMPORTANT: After downloading the new wallet and BEFORE you run it, you must go to your data folder (i.e. C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Plebeian) --

*NOTE*  It is a good idea to backup your wallet.dat file to another folder on your hard drive at this point for peace of mind!

Now delete everything from your /Roaming/Plebeian  folder  except for your wallet.dat and Plebeian.conf files.  Then,  you need to remove all "addnodes=" from your Plebeian.conf file and put "connect=8.38.76.74" in their place.


Now you can run your new wallet client and it will sync up with the proper block chain, and you will have all your coins that were mined on this blockchain (i.e. Suprnova pool).


After your wallet is synced and looking good, you can close it and go back to your Plebeian.conf file and replace "connect=8.38.76.74"  with your previous addnodes:

addnode=67.212.70.89
addnode=107.170.219.94


Start your wallet up again and you are good to go!!

Update:

Movement had stopped last night as we were waiting for communication from ocminer, and resumed this morning after receiving his replies.

We are rolling again, and we are now building a new network around the new block chain.

We will have a complete release in 4 - 5 hours with wallets and source code.

For now, just keep mining at Suprnova. All will be fine. We are on top of it. No one is going to lose any coins they hashed at nova.

Hello fellow Plebes,

First we would like to sincerely apologize for this issue - it happened due to an oversight when we were building the code, there were two of us working on the source code and one version was slightly older than the other, the older one had not been updated with the correct block subsidy code lines.

Secondly, we would like to thank  ocminer   for being so quick in fixing his pool's daemon/wallet, enabling miners to continue successful mining and essentially preventing a wipe-out situation.

Lastly we want to let everybody know that we are currently in the process of implementing the fix into the code, communicating with ocminer to obtain the working blockchain, and preparing a statement with guidelines and steps for people to undergo in order to ensure they are on the working blockchain and have working wallets.

This will happen as quickly as possible, but a precise ETA is very difficult to assume. We will post major updates as they occur.
