There are numerous reasons to be very very careful:

To recap:
- anonymous domain registration
- anonymous team
- no product
- no whitepaper/demo/screenshots
- non-existing token with an attributed value based on thin air

So what do they have?
- a lure to tease our greedy brain

There are numerous signs that this is either fake or a scam and exactly zero indications that this is a bonafide project.

Better think twice before you sign up.
Great summarize. thank you man for the effort you put into this and for sharing it with us!

Thanks on the BLOCKNET recommendation. This one looks like a winner! Smiley
I hope you picked some up just before the action? Smiley
I would also suggest you hold it longterm as there is so much more room for growth.
But in the end, it should be your decision of course.

I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin? I don't mean like a few here and there, I mean over 100 coins.
There is no shit coins or dead coins. All of the coins are important and have a value. Many altcoins have really potential and good for investment. I prefer to you to research more altcoin and you can find out what coin is the best for investment.
There are no shit coins & no dead coins? I hope you are kidding... most coins in circulation right now are shitcoins, no use case, no product, nothing but pump & dump... Yeah some dead coins receive their pump once in year or so, doesn´t make the dead project alive tough.

Can you explain why MGO?

Since Johnny didn't respond I will. It's a functioning project penetrating a multi-billion dollar market. It's commercially releasing in 2 weeks and has an advertising fund of many millions. It's going to see real usage and when it does, it's going to moon.

Sorry missed this one. What Jeff said. Haha. I'm excited I'll be hero next week.

Do you guys know maybe, when will MGO hit "normal" exchanges.. ?  Smiley
There is, unfortunately, no info so far. But it will probably take some more time as Bittrex has to rewrite their wallets so they are able to support ERC223 token.

I also read about it but have no idea what´s going on there. Probably you´ll receive some shitcoins that are worth near to nothing but they had their marketing effect.

Add Blocknet to your portfolio! Blocknet is the next Amazon: they are releasing the first truly decentralized exchange! Anyone can set up his own exchange on Blocknet!
I can only agree! Add some BLOCK now and you will probably be on the winning side.

Re: Online portfolio tracker

Obviously it's possible to track with a graph on an exchange the performance of a single coin over time. Is there a site I can use to input the amounts of all of my coins in my exchange portfolio and get a their aggregate values graphed over time?

This has to exist. Thought I'd ask here so I could get a recommendation of the best site. Preferably one that saves my details so I don't have to input every time I need this data and allows me to login to an account.

I'm surprised this doesn't already exist of either Bitrex or Poloniex. They only have a snapshot of the current valuation of all of your coins.

Thanks in advance.

I would recommend the App Blockfolio. you can track every token that´s tradeable. put in your trades and watch you portfolio rise and fall in USD and BTC value.

the lowest marketcap. in my portfolio has TKS (Tokes) with 1 mil.
there´s an active team behind it and the progress they make is also nice so far.

Also SHIFT has low cap (8Mil.) & APX (3Mil.)

I´d recommend you research the details of them on your own, so you do not have to depend on my biased opinion. (I am holding these 3 coins)

Is there an update regarding what the next steps forward Are?  Continuation of the presale for the remaining blocks, straight to ICO?  Thanks for the quick response to the hack!

Nothing yet, we are still seeing what most of the community would like to do. So far it is leaning towards having a short 're pre-sale' with the missing amount from the original pre-sale. But that is not finalized, once we decide we will let everyone know more details.

This would be great news (for me at least) as I had no spare´s ready to throw at you at the time of the presale.
If there´s no second presale I will just accumulate some ETH until the ICO begins Smiley

Your Portfolio really Looks great! I would maybe add some WAVES to it.
If you are also interested in low market cap coins, you can research ARK, BLOCK, TKS & MGO

I agree with the MGO option, WAVES, however, it's not the best choice, DASH and ETC are one of the most paid currencies, we should invest in it.
Why do you think WAVES is a not a good option? I am just curios what´s behind that statement Smiley

I would suggest you to take a look @, BLOCK, ARK, TKS.
Most important: do your own research on these coins so you can decide on yourself if these are projects you want to invest in.

Re: Help with my portfolio

You may want to invest a percentage of your portfolio in a cryptocurrency resistant to quantum computing.

User BlockHedge in the Quantum Resistant Ledger (QRL) announcement thread put it best:

Quote
Whether other crypto projects are overvalued or not is irrelevant to how I view QRL.  Let's say for example I own $10,000 worth of stocks.  I may very well take a $1,000 (10%) position in gold to offset my market risk.  It doesn't matter if the current PE ratio is 5 or 25, my gold hedge will react the same - with a negative correlation to the stock market assuming a black swan event.  This is how I view QRL - as both a hedge and as insurance.

So, therefore If I own $10,000 of crypto, and I want to diversify and protect against risk, what do I do?  I can't control government regulations or whales manipulating markets.  Those risks will always exist.  But the ultimate risk is quantum computing hacking (and thereby undermining the confidence of) the entire crypto space.  Once confidence is lost, it can take years or longer to be regained (assuming other cryptos adapt and become quantum resistant).  So if/when quantum hacking becomes an imminent risk, and hacks begin, and funds are lost, QRL will act with a negative correlation to all the other non-QP crypto.  So my crypto $10,000 might turn into $1,000 in a week, but my 10% QRL hedge position might go from $1,000 to $9,000 thereby netting me zero, but allowing me not to lose my shorts in the overall quantum hacking panic.  QRL is the hedge that any serious crypto believer ought to take seriously.  I believe investors are both smart and have a desire to protect their crypto investments to the greatest extent possible within their control.  And if others learn about QRL, and learn about the real quantum threats that currently exist and that are on the horizon, why would they not take a position in it?  What is the downside?  Being the first Quantum secure and most secure crypto is worthy of a top 30 coin (or better) from my foxhole.

I see quantum computing as a bigger threat to crypto than people think, and when it happens almost all crypto currencies are at risk. So it might be a good idea to put a percentage in a project like QRL, as a hedge against post quantum age.
QRL is imo a great Investment idea! It will probably not give you the x100 within the next week but I think it promises a good and steady rise over time, until it gets really big one day  Cheesy

Re: Which ICO do you regret participating in the most?

Until now it´s SONM but I have still hopes that it will be pumped once they get their shit together  Wink

I have the same experience with the SONM, it is a hot ICO project on this forum and a lot of members joined in the bounty. So I thought it was promising and invested in. But for now the price is 25% of the ICO price. I hope the team can do something real and I can get back my money.

A lot of people were believing with sonm but not for this time. The price is 1/5 from the ico price and does it look good for you to see it? the dev hasn't had a lot of experience to develop the token or asset. I think this time to stay away from sonm project and try to choose another best.

I agree with you, right now it is hard to look at in my Portfolio and I think the Outlook is not so great right now but no Need to sell on a loss. I think I will just hold longterm and try to Forget about this coin for at least a year or so.
If it will never break even, Í will just be happy that I´ve invested no more than I can afford to lose and see it as a lesson learned the hard way  Grin
