the cost to transfer money across the globe is huge when you want to transfer Fiat money, but now with the recent Advent of cryptocurrency technology, it's possible to transfer money across the globe for practically free.

Do you think this has affected the price of bitcoin directly?

I think this recent drop in mining hashrate could be a reason why the Bitcoin price drop 20% recently.

Re: Bitcoin and Deep Web

So im literally a curioused person which wanted to have more informations about Deep Web and its wierd and creepy videos and stuffs. So I recently streaming youtube for a couple of hours, so basic compared to what deep web has, but after about 10 videos,i found this gem.

https://youtu.be/rEtGb4Eenp0

So for those who have no time watching a 14:27 minute video, ill make a summary for you.

So theres this youtuber who wants to access deep web, just a curious guy like me. Then after a boring introduction, he finally opens the site. So to make the story short. He finds all illegal stuffs like hacking, buying other peoples account including paypal and even bank accounts perhaps, steps on how to do illegal things and a bunch of drug dealers all for suprisingly low price. Whats surprising is this.

MOST OF THE DEALS ARE CAN ONLY BOUGHT BY BITCOIN !!!!!!!!!

WTF. I really stumbled that even the dark webs and illegal organizations only accepts BTC because of its anonimity.

Heres an interesting topic for you guys. Lets discuss about this and maybe you have a lot information than mine.

These are happening a long time ago. Actually bitcoin first takes place widely in deepweb. It was obviously used for illegal transactions like what you have mention, drugs, bank accounts or other stuffs related to pornography or gore. I think the reason why bitcoin was the major currency in deepweb because a lot of people are interested to it for the chance that it will rise its value soon. Also, transactions using crypto was somehow secured or anonymous compare to some currency.
I have read time and time again that Bitcoin isn't as anonymous we thought it to be, because of that most of that most of the deep or dark web users have started accepting monero if their main issue was anonymity. But to those that accept Bitcoins am sure it has to do with the fact that they know it will rise in value so that they can have some profits.

Bitcoin is pseudo anonymous, which means partially anonymous but not really. Governments can find out who owns your Bitcoins in your wallet. However, in the early days it was attractive to illegal dealings because the government's were not savvy to the new technology.

Re: Bitcoin is now Among The Top 30 Currencies in The Entire World

this is no surprise. Bitcoin mining uses over 1% of global energy expenditure. That's pretty big amount when you think about the amount of electricity we use worldwide. Therefore, Bitcoin being in the top 30 cryptocurrencies make sense because of course it is being accepted all over the world.

This is 100% possible. Panties are the best way to increase your earnings exponentially. However, they are also risky because many are scams.

back in the early days of Bitcoin, a site like this would have been globally popular. However, there is already so much competition in the space. Sad that you had to close down.

Inflation is caused by printing Fiat money in unlimited quantities. Cryptocurrency, on the other hand, is deflationary because it can't be printed or created.

Re: Did ETH changed crypto world?

Ethereum really did change the crypto world. Ethereum is the altcoin that helped to show investors that there can be another coin that can grow just the way bitcoin did with its own impressive blockchain. Ethereum now has more investors than bitcoin I believe. There is just so much that the ethereum project can do in the long run. There is no better altcoin.

The thing is that sometimes we all make these mistakes no matter how long we have been in the market or how much we understand the market prices. The truth remains that there is no way for any of us to tell if the price of a coin will keep going up or not so we often sell when we see that we have made little profits so we don't end up watching the price fall down again. Don't beat yourself over it, happens to the best of us

Re: whether the new coin can survive?

A lot of the new coins that we are seeing now are more likely to die out in a couple of years which is why you should never invest in new coins for the long term. You are better off investing in them for the short term or better still just trading with them instead of buying them to hold. Most of the new coins really have nothing to offer because it is just a bunch of people who are trying to make some quick money
