ok that sounds better. Good luck with your project.  Wink

Edit: LMAO, 99% for 1 satoshi!

no one wil promote this. good luck.

It should be 99% for 0 Satoshi, but 1 Satoshi is the minimum that can be set. It is a symbolic prize.

The point is that this is not a normal faucet. It is a lottery. A fun project. For example on dice games you have to bet your money. Here you can try for free.

And of course no one will promote it for the 1 Satoshi. But for the wins.

BS! 200.000 is the max that microwallet allows to transfer with their api, so in the unlikely even that somebody beats the odds and wins the prize, the api call will fail and the user will get nothing.

Where does it say that? ( found it now in the api docs, not in the faucet script Angry)

The admin interface is pretty well designed. Normally it does not allow incompatible values. As an example i cannot set a lower time limit than 15 minutes. So it is set to 15 minutes.

Setting a payout of 500000 was no problem.

Edit: just saw it in the api documentation. Should be in the faucet script too. will change to 200.000 and double odds until a better solution is found.

Is it possible to run two faucets with one api key /MW account?
Or is a separate one one needed for a second faucet? (with different payment schedules/values)

Does anyone have such a setup running?

Did you guys got less page views in the last 1 or 2 weeks?

i have lost like half page views. Just to check if the problem is only with me or everybody is suffering the same.

(people avoiding a little land of bitcoin afraid of not getting paid)

Not just you. It started at the beginning of November.

Played around with a local test-faucet. Here are some suggestions:

- the captcha is not centered, at least the solvemedia one.
- when clicking the home link (upper left corner, like going back from a custom page to the faucet again) it goes to the root of the domain / so if the faucet is installed in /myfaucet it does not go to the faucet
- display the balance on the faucet page like on a microwallet faucet.
- display the percent chance of rewards on the faucet page, also like on a MW faucet. "10*100, 1*500" displays only "100, 500 satoshi every..." no user knows how rare 500 is.
- maybe the ability to manage more than one faucet in one account on faucetbox.

I like the ability to add custom pages to the menu. The deposit fee is pretty steep. It should be a withdrawal fee instead. Faucet owners should not be punished as they are the ones that hand out free coins and promote the whole faucet network for faucetbox.

The next special is less than 24hours away!

This week: Grab a reward every 15 minutes instead every 3 hours! For a full 2 hours or until the faucet is empty. (We might reload before to prevent it from actually going to 0 so rewards can continue to flow after the event)

Originally we wanted to make it grab a reward every 5, 2 or even 1 minute. But since we use microwallet.org the minumum between rewards is 15 minutes.

Event starts Sunday, Nov 2nd, 3PM Central European Time

Time left until the event begins:

I think to keep this thread constructive and not a witch hunt, we need to supply evidence.

'Evidence' shall constitute people spreading doom, using the same language that fallling is infamous for such as:
"cut your loose"
Calling every price rise a dead cat bounce
"final capitulation"
"Bitcoin is going nowhere but down"

"ETF will be shot"

So get your shotguns ready  Shocked

No. I don't think so.

There is QE going on in the US. And the Americans are not buying coins like there is no tomorrow.

So i dont think the EU will either.

What's all this dumping on stamps?!?

My wild guess: Bitlicense extension = no ETF this year.

Bit License comment period extended another 45 days. Anyone think this is having any real impact as far as holding the price back?

Yes.

Another 45 days. + 45 days of implementation.

So no ETF this year. Maybe sometime late winter the earliest.
