Re: [WTS] 47 x AntMiner S1's for $120 each
by

The following assumes local pick-up.

Given a 15% increase projection (the next diff is likely to be in the 25% range) the buyer will take a 3.6 BTC loss.

It has to be a 10% difficulty average for break even (maybe 8% or 9% since we're front-loading with a big diff soon)

The buyer will need a minimum of 17,000 watts of power and a minimum of $2,350 in supporting infrastructure and hardware.

If the plan is to upgrade to S3 blades, the price difference between an S3 and S1-upgrade-blades is $66 with delivery near end of September.

Waldohoover, you know they will start shipping the next batch within 5 days. Furthermore, it is generally a bad idea to trash your supplier on these forums. Bitmain in particular has earned some respect.

For the record, cleaning seems to have fixed my unit. It overclocks to 237.5 Mhz comfortably now whereas it would not OC previously and many times would fail to run at all.

One of my batch 1 units will not overclock. In fact, sometimes it won't start up at all.

I have it taken apart right now. I am running to the store to get some alcohol for cleaning (well, maybe some other kind to drink as well...).

Several of the chips have this problem.

I know that some people say that thermal paste does not conduct electricity. However, the thermal paste that is used by BitMain has some oil in it which I do believe conducts some electricity (as learned from my S1 experiences). I am hoping a cleanup job will fix this S3.

Howdy,

I am switching over to 1300 watt EVGA PSU's, so I am selling 4 of my Seasonic 550 Gold PSU's.

This is the PSU: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00918MEZG/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I am selling these for 0.1 each.

I'll provide free UPS ground shipping to US lower-48.

If you want faster shipping, you can send me a shipping label. I'll ship from zip code 74014.

If you'd like to do escrow, my preferred agent is vnhyp0 who I have transacted a few dozen bitcoins with over the last 10 months.

Re: [IN STOCK] ANTMINER S1 by BITMAIN in Los Angeles, Ca USA-- SHIPS TODAY!
by

I don't even understand. You have such a competitive advantage over BitMain, yet you choose not to take advantage. You lean on this dumb false claim instead of advertising: "Ships from US - within 24 hours, often same day!"  "Receive unit within 1-4 days rather than 3-6!"

Your supplier is making you money buddy, they are honest. That's the only reason I'm posting here. I've done a LOT of business with the other players in this market and nobody is like BitMain, with the possible exception for AsicMiner.

Rather than fix a false claim against an honest company, you have chosen to double down and defend your false claims. Even your anecdote about the March 7th doesn't hold up to 7-10 days, not be 2 days on the short side.

If, instead, you chose to fix the error and be not only honest with your customers, but also honest with your supplier, we would not be having this conversation.

This is a major red flag.

I am warning all customers to use escrow

Here are my orders from the factory. You can guess which ones had an ice storm. I am including in-stock orders only and those orders not placed during chinese new years.  Looks like 4 - 6 is a fair claim if you are not going by business days.

Order Date, Delivery Date
1. 1/16 - 1/20
2. 1/20 - 1/24
3. 1/24 - 1/29
4. 1/11 - 2/17
5. 2/28 - 3/4
6. 3/1 - 3/5
7. 3/3 - 3/7
8. 3/5 - 3/11
9. 3/6 - 3/12 (same plane)

Can you please address the fact that March 12th is 5 days after March 7th, when you placed your order, and its relationship to your 7 - 10 day claim?

I had 8 units on the same plane out of China. I know they will be out for delivery tomorrow.

If March 7th order is delivered tomorrow, that is 5 days and 3 business days. Where are you getting 7 to 10? Shouldn't it be 3 to 5?

I understand you are trying to create a niche for yourself, but a little bit of honesty doesn't hurt.

I've ordered 48 S1's from BitMain. Only twice has an order taken 4 business days to get to me and that is due to 1) Ice Storm and 2) Plane Malfunction, both UPS issues.

It is very common for it to take 3 business days, and it is often the case that UPS will fly the shipment from China to Kentucky on Sunday and even on holidays. Once it departs china, it is 24 to 48 hours to my doorstep.

In other words, I do not think that BitMain has earned the "be mining in 7 to 10 days" tag in your post.

I'll remove this post if your post gets fixed. There are a lot of dishonest companies. I think it is worth sticking up for one of the few honest ones.

These do not generate ANYWHERE near 2 BTC in 1 week at the time of posting.

This does not feel right at all.

And, I'm probably seriously underestimating the power draw here.
