Counterwallet is very buggy I agree, they hope to have a gui desktop client by summer which should solve the issues. Unlike other bitcoin 2.0 projects (ether run and mastercoin) they have actually released. Good things take time so please be patient as this system has so much potential. I do understand the frustration though.

But i thought your problem was with folding not counterwallet, is you cpu still folding? Or was the issue you have to deal with counterwallet?

It updates automatically with an API we have. Sometimes it wont update for a couple hours, or if you have cookies stuck in your browser for 24 hours. It is updated now on my end

Thanks for the info. The previous version of the wallet gave a warning message that staking was suspended due to the wallet being locked. I just assumed when I saw the red lock onscreen it would act the same if not unlocked.

Which leads me to ask, and perhaps I'm being a little too obtuse, what does the Unlock Wallet for POS option if not unlock the wallet for staking?

So if you look at each of the individual pages on the merged folding tabs of each token http://foldingcoin.net/merged-folding/ you will find their distribution methodology. OCTO and SOG will be doing monthly distributions just as SCOTCOIN does. POWC is the only weekly distribution so far.

Around 2:00AM each morning, i begin to push out the transactions for the previous days distributions. I usually takes about 2 hours until it is fully complete. Sometimes you are right though, the distributions can be delayed due to things like the server crashing, but on all but 2 occasions we have paid in full by 5:00pm EST on the same day and all but around 10 occasions have been paid in full by 6:00am EST on the same day since i have been full time this year.

It does seem to be somewhat of a puzzling situation.... It's no surprise the price has wavered in his absence.  HYPERfuture did say he'd still be around a lot, but this remains to be seen.....

There's just too much FUD in crypto, so even though he forecasted his absence, not everyone reads this thread every day. The HYPERfoundation is necessary for future success, as long as HYPERfuture is scarce. Newcomers need some sense of leadership around here, or at least something to make them feel comfortable investing.

@meowball, was there any additional correspondence between yourself and the dev regarding the foundation? HYPER needs a face while future is taking care of business.

I assume he is ok he recently posted and said he needs to take more time away and can not continue with the same hours he has been putting in. He suggested forming a group to share in the work load but I have not hard further about it.
