Re: [ANN] RabbitCoin [RBBT] LAUNCHED - 2+ GHS / CryptoRush [Scrypt KGW]

any rabbitcointeam member here?Let's talk about the next plan!
We are chinese,a lot of people are intersted in rabbitcoin here.We love it and we mine it.
Let's do some real useful staff to make it bigger.

We're hard at work on some integration points with a partner of ours who is developing an altcoin purchasing layer for online shopping; when they launch, we will be one of the first supported coins.

To prepare for that, we're making some improvements to our systems infrastructure for things like transaction tracking and purchase audits. A lot of stuff in the backend, but important for supporting their systems design.

We're also working with a few new people who will be working on giveaways, social interaction and PR as this simply isn't our forte. We think this will help get more exposure while we focus on bringing new technology and integrations.

In the meantime, we're looking for someone who enjoys running social media to join our team. Please PM or email us rabbitcointeam@gmail.com if you'd be interested in helping.

We've also been communicating with some other exchanges and sites such as coinwarz / coinmarketcap to drive more awareness to our site. More news when we hear anything.

More updates as we can release them.

Any news about that ?

Re: RIPPLE N°2 on Coinmarketcap!

Like I said in another thread, these are the two categories for Ripple haters.

1. Fear (Usually old Bitcoiners with lots to lose. Scared of the disruptive nature of the powerful Ripple network - which actually looks to compliment Bitcoin with INSTANT transactions).

2. Laymen (Usually new-ish members. Believe the fearing established members and have no idea what Ripple actually is. These people will likely say Ripple is centralized (untrue), closed source (untrue) or a premine (this isn't BTC! again, you have missed the point).

Sadly there is only one "category" who put people in categories.

You put your money in Ripple, good for you. If it's so innovative, you shouldn't have to be so nervous and fractious.

Re: [POLL] Should CoinMarketCap.com re-list Ripple?
by

I see it as an exchange system, not as a coin. So my answer would be no.

Change your vote now due to your obvious lack of intelligence. Do you think every alt currency that uses the name 'coin' in their name is associated with the dying monetary system because they can't come up with anything new or innovative, so they use the bit'coin' standard in their labeling?

Just because Ripple's exchange is built-in and it doesn't follow the usual Bitcoin clone path, you deem it inappropriate. You wouldn't know what to do if innovation slapped you in the face.

Fool.

People are a little tense, here.  Roll Eyes

I don't see anything that Bitcoin could not do, in Ripple or any other alt by the way.
You can have colored coins and decentralized exchanges over the Bitcoin protocol.

Besides, could you explain to a fool how a centralized coin is supposed to be something new ?

iXcoin - The Internet eXchange Coin (IXC)

developed in April 2011, after a long hibernation in development, has now been upgraded to the latest Bitcoin 0.8.6 code base.

In addition to the latest upgrades, the development team is now working in four promising areas:

(1) Micro-transactions - Permit micro transactions without the overhead.

(2) Armory wallet - The most advance secure wallet

(3) Colored Coins - Exchange financial instruments (i.e. Bonds, Stocks etc) using IXC

(4) Ripple Integration - Move IXC across exchanges with zero confirmation times.

These innovations will make iXcoin, the most advanced alternate crypto currency.

iXcoin was the first alternate crypto currency.   It will now become the most advanced alternate cryptocurrency.

It's an old coin, but how does it make it valuable ?

About "Colored coins"... There are already projects to implement this as a layer on top of Bitcoin's blockchain.

Bitcoin is the mothership, if it collapses all the others will have a very hard time. They are all Bitcoin forks.

This thread is finally going somewhere. Adress issues and questions in a polite way.

Enjoy reading your tough love georgem

I agree, it's getting very hard to find untrolled discussions.

Now about these 6 algorithms : blake, bmw, groestl, jh, keccak, skein... I wonder which one is the most secure ? Some of them must have their drawbacks ?

Please correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't Quark only as strong as the weakest of its hashing functions ?

No, the hashing functions are applied one after the other.

The result of the first hash becomes the input of the second hash, the result of the second hash becomes the input of the third hash and so forth.

So it's more like the layers of onion skin, and NOT like a chain (with a weakest link)

so, in pseudo code:

Quote
hash9(hash8(hash7(hash6(hash5(hash4(hash3(hash2(hash1(...)))))))))

(now correct me if I am wrong)

OK thanks for your answer georgem. So if one of the hashing functions was compromised, then the others would do the job anyway...

Now that's interesting. That would make Quark the most secure of all the alt-cryptos out there ?

pas spécialement mieux que la façon des hybrides PoW/PoS qui distribuent avec le mining jusqu'à ce qu'il devienne obsolète.

Quels sont les alt-coins qui tombent dans cette catégorie ?
