Yeah, the bringing back online seems a little careless using web wallets, I don't plan to bring my Bitcoins back online for a while does my storage process sound secure?

(CNN) — The Dogecoin started off as a penniless Internet joke.

It still is, isn't it?  Grin

So were both Bitcoin and Litecoin at one time.

I have a hunch that this transaction has jumpstarted Dogecoin.

My $.02.

Wink

You have lots of 2 cents, do you have a big change jar?

Create TailsOS USB

Boot into Tails and download BitAddress from GitHub

Disconnected from Internet & generate a private and public key....

Send 0.001 Test amount to the wallet.....

Store private and public key on a bit of paper!

Is this secure? Can I sleep without worrying about my Bitcoin getting stolen!

----------------------

Bringing back online...

Create Blockchain.info wallet.

Import private key and sweep the address to take back the 0.001

Is this a good way to bring online?

Anyone know how to store my coins safely, I have a Tails USB set up to use my PC offline but I am not sure what to use to generate the private key offline! Sad!

I'm stumped again, how can I create a couple of secure cold wallet addresses to store 0.5 in each!

I have a USB stick to install Linux or Tails or something, I need a reliable way to generate a private key and public address!

I'm aware of that site, I am just worried about it generating a bad address and when I come to recover my coins I will slam my fist onto my desk and scream "Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!"

Is it possible to run BitAddress offline on a USB OS like Linux or use Tails or something?
