Everyone wants to get benefit from this industry, and various strategies are carried out. But I think everything needs investment, and it really depends on each other's capabilities, from mining to long-term investment. Even though at present the profits are increasingly difficult to obtain but I think with perseverance we can still get altcoins.

Maybe Ethereun has dominated the altcoin for quite a long time. And when the ico situation is not as good as it is now, Ethereum's request is reduced. Maybe the price can still go down again, but I think the opportunity to experience a bigger increase is due to the end of the year there will be a maneuver from Ethereum.
Very interesting, but I think it will be effective when the market is bullish. I agree with you, almost all altcoins fall if the BTC prices fall, this makes them like very connected. Therefore all crypto markets are very dependent on BTC prices. It's fun for everyone if bitcoin is always stable or growing even more intense, because much will be supported.
Crypto prices are agreements between sellers and buyers. If you get a cheaper price than the market it is good luck, and the opposite will apply.
So I think this will be a pattern, or investor strategy to be able to fill out portfolios at low prices, and may apply to any tokens.

Market is fluctuating today a lot . But I hope it will not continue. So I am applying HODL at this moment.

My policy is always the same, buying to sell at a higher price. If the price is not higher then I wait until the price is higher.
And not seeing a lot of charts or markets at the moment is the best policy because that might be the factor that most influences our patience.
When we buy a coin and hold it, not much is available for sale, and when demand increases, people will start buying at a higher price. So I think this is a matter of volatility. Markets are determined by trends formed by the community itself. Maybe now not many people do it, but when we have the same plan, the market must grow, so stay optimistic.

You have to choose coins more carefully as a long-term investment. In my example last year I invested in coins that were not right and as a result, after a year my portfolio really fell. Nothing can be expected, other than building everything from scratch.

I am a relative newbie but have remained pretty calm during the difficult last week or so. The markets are falling significantly again, is this still relatively normal and is the best advice just to HODL? Moving forward I think I will set stop losses on all holdings to protect my capital against falls like this.

If I see a big crash situation on the market today, we can only wait with little hope. We have to switch to altcoin, we have to stay calm as usual and most traders say, hoping that will help improve feelings and emotions to be better.

I am sure, that we will all use crypto to buy anything in the store and maybe all restaurants, malls, hotels etc. will receive crypto as a legal payment.

And what investors should do in such situation? Sell all they have for small money or wait until a token will go up?

I think you should sell it immediately before the price of the token becomes worse. This is actually a market game, where tokens are distributed to Bounty hunters. This trick is always successful because the price will go down when the token is distributed to the bounty hunter, you must understand all that.
