only ASICS are mining at profit right now. And the Hashrate is not going down. Are people so irresponsable to mine at losses with the current market is danger of absolute death???

Soon its heating season you know. I would run my miners for loss to heat my room up and pay less or nothing to local heat source provider.

It is winter here. So I keep on mining to heat my property.

If the miner's efficiency is 44J/TH, then it is the best in the market. Bitmain claimed 42J/TH on the chip, not the system.

I think a large portion of that hashrate is all the GPUs switching of ZEC since it's completely an Asic coin now.  A few hundred thousand GPUs is less then the hashrate that was on ZEC and there's zero point in GPU mining anything on the Equihash algorithm now.

If all the ZEC mining GPU move to ETH, it will only increase the ETH has rate about 15%. I think that is the ETH ASIC.

Tried 11.2 miner. Worked well for few hours with little more hashrate but after that - constant crashing and after crash I cannot even start it again. Back using 11.1 version.

Reducing the clock frequency will solve that.

Hi all,
Did anybody had success in running 7 GPUS Nvidia with this switch on Asrock H81 Pro BTC? I have 6 GTX 1080 ti and when I try to add this hub/switch to add 7th card GTX 1070 the system don't recognize it or I can't boot the system (Windows 10).
When I try to connect 5 GPUs to mobo and 6th card to this hub it doesn't work either. It did work once but this 6th card I couldn't change any settings in MSI Afterburner then after restart stop working. I have two of these and none of them works for me.
If you have any ideas or expirience with this Switch I would appreciate any help.

This switch does not work with nVidia cards.

Hi all, I bought this MOBO yesterday and it has Bios version F23, which does not have mining mode at all. Yet al the other settings suggested from Gygabite minisite are there.
I assume since BIOS F23 is more recent than (F22) which has mining mode. With this bios it may not need mining mode at all, or is somewhat already supported.

Any though?

You might try to use the board any way. If it does not work, then flash it to F22.

I'm not complaining, but honestly that doesn't provide much clarity. New secret method coming maybe soon, and next airdrop in March except maybe if one guy changes his mind.
Looks like a complaint to me Wink

I'm really not. I have never bought any but still holding all coins and accumulated interest from first airdrop. Traded a few blackbytes for regular ones just to try out chat bot.

Does coinpayments.net support byteball? It's website is being blocked in the state I'm currently visiting. Would it be possible to have them participate in cash back thing?

I keep on accumulating the coins from the airdrop.

by

I don't think its going down actually. It cooperates with some many projects on smart contracts. Like Confideal proj. So seems it has just enormous plans for future. Just wait

There is no need to ask Ethereum about any reason, because there is a high likelihood of increasing Altcoins prices. I believe ethereum , so I do not need to worry about ethereum price fluctuations in the market. I also believe that the position of eth after bitcoin .

That is right. Many altcoins will use the ETH as a programming platform.

In my opinion BYTEBALL is one of most promissing projects in the cryptoworld with nice technology behind and good development. But who is selling bytes in such cheap price?

I agree. The price drop is just due to the lack of airdrop this month. The price could be higher next month.

may be airdrops should be at random dates with random percentage like this month airdrop 5% next month 8% following month 15%...etc that way nobody will ask when the airdrop is and nobody will dump their coins only normal selling and buying of the coin
Or daily distribution to randomly determined addresses.

It is better to keep the same ratio and same date so people will know beforehand.

Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments

Hi!
I have a question about distribution. If I have bytes in multiple wallets, do I have link all of them to participate drop or are they automatically in?
I know there's no way to distribute blackbytes in automaticly since they are untraceable, so they have to be in linked address to be able to get drops. But is there a way to link multible byteball addresses with transition bot?

Thank you in advance!

You can link as many byteball addresses as you want.

Ok, so I just tell my new Byteball address to the transition bot and when it asks my Bitcoin address, I just use my already linked bitcoin address and sign new message? So it won't overwrite my old Byteball address?

Thanks!

Haven't got any answers, is this correct way to link Byteball addresses to get also blackbytes from airdrop? Or if I just want to get only bytes from airdrops, do I have to even link them anyway?

When you link, you should get both. Black comes a few days later.

Would the coins still rocket if the coin/"new" ICO are worthless?

I think it will be worth little. The ICO is forbidden in China, no buyer from there.

Interesting to see what will happen in September now that the next air drop has been reduced to 10%. Hopefully people will be incentivized to hold GBYTES more than before so the price won't be fluctuating wildly like last time  Wink

I think people will buy Byteball more as if you hold Byteball, you will get much more new coins than holding Bitcoin.

Re: Genesis-Mining Review
by

on 23/07/2017, 18:16:08 UTC
Genesis Mining is legit and right now profitable.
Really? I'm mining at Genesis now for approximately 1 month. Due to the raising difficulty the revenue is lowering about 40% each month. Based on this data I created a calculation:

Datum|ETH/Monat|Σ ETH|€/ETH 250|Σ €
01.07.2017|0,65513095|0,65513095|163,78 €|163,78 €

01.06.2019|0,00000517|1,63781961|0,00 €|409,45 €
01.07.2019|0,00000310|1,63782272|0,00 €|409,46 €

This calclucation is based on a eth price of 250€/ETH. At the moment this price dropped down to 155€/ETH. I expect to have some revenue within the first 6 months. After that I don't expect to mine any relevant amount.

This means concretely: 60% loss based on an ETH price of 250€/ETH.

I think it is better to buy the coin directly.

14 gpus  if they were 14 1080 ti's  founder edition  with a tdp set at 70%  it would be 250 x .7 = 175 watts per gpu x 14 = 2450 watts

so the server psu ibm  2880 or 2980   with a pico psu attached   and 20 cables   would be short cables not power.

finksy's 2 x 2000 watt 4k psu would be good  as it has 30 cables.

it will be fun to see it working.

If you are like me  with 12 -15 working loaded mobos that can do 50 psus you would not need this.

but if you are going to open a farm  and want 10 of these running 140 gpus it is nice.

depends on price and cpu needed.

I hope they can make a 8 slots MB now.
