Re: Newbies to Bitcoin can be dangerous!

My exact sentiments man,I feel you. the newbies nowadays more often that not would caused more harm than good in the community. Yes we all started as a newbie, but hey the newbies now are different, most of them would not even research the facts and would tell some misinformation about Bitcoin and the crypto currency technology. They feel that they invested on it for several months, they already know it all, the ins and outs of the industry. They feel like they are the experts but when the going gets tough, they are the first to sell worse, they will even spread FUDs and be the reason why the prices will go down further.

Re: Positive News about Bitcoin

I am glad to see positive news about Bitcoin for a change.  We all need these kind of news, a breath of fresh air, a spark of hope to help us remember that hey, we still have things to look forward to, things to anticipate and celebrate in that matter. I hope we can spread these news and the positivism, keep them coming so the people would be more positive and be more interested in Bitcoins. Then nest thing we know the price is rising and soaring again.

Re: Bitcoin will kill itself

My take on this is, Bitcoin is like a double edged sword, its strength can also be used as its weakness. The reason why people loved it would be and could be the very same reason why they would hate it. There are certain ways that it can be improved, like some regulations that if will be implemented properly, it will be able to prevent Bitcoin to be used in scams, frauds and illegal activities, as well as it will gain the trust and confidence of the people more since there will be regulations around it.

Re: Why to Invest in ICO?

I understand that the current market shows that most of the coin price are dropping but we all know that this is just a phase, the tide will soon turn one way or the other. So as investors, we do invest on promising projects that will give us good returns in the future, one of those is the ICOs. There are risks yes, it will always be there, regardless of the nature of business or what. risks are part of life. They say the greater the risk the better profit you can get. We just need to ensure that we believe on the ICO, trust and believe on its product or services, its vision, its future. Just like this ICO project called EON, it is the first decentralized game network, very promising project, it has good vision and a platform for the future, I am sure it will be a very profitable one.

Re: How do we change the public's view of Crypto world?

Start in small ways, start with family, friends or even office mates. Be a good example, show them the good things that you got, not just material things, peace of mind, time, financial freedom. Use them to ignite their interest and curiosity as to what brought that change in you and in your life. Then once they already are the ones who want to know, start to share your story and then introduce crypto currency to them. It will be believable because they are seeing the positive changes right before their eyes. Start from their and pass it on.

Re: Will you sell all your coins in Bull market?

I will sell some of my coins but not all of my coins once the market recovers. Of course I will make sure that the long hold time I spent would be worth it, I should gain some profits from it. I will still keep and hold into some of my coins, long term investments. Then once the market gets red again, will buy more coins in a lower value.

Re: Huge potential earnings in bitcoin, still not interesting for others

Possible reason is lack of their knowledge about Bitcoin, so they tend to believe most of the things that they hear or see about Bitcoin especially in the news. We all know that the mass media is not friendly to Bitcoin, more often than not you would see the things that will make you want to avoid Bitcoin as a whole, even if you are interested on it at first.

Re: Panic sellers, please head for the exit (and don't come back)

I think it will be better for all if we can help each other, educate and inform them as to what really happens when they panic sell, how it affects not just them but the entire community. Let us all be open and helpful that yes, it is risky and scary when faced on situations like this but then we can share our stories, our best practices, how we managed to be strong amidst all the FUDs and all the negativity around. I think that is much better that asking them to go and never come back, we should be each other's helping hand, we are a community, we should also spark and ignite the hope in each other towards a better community.

Re: Bitcoin become an asset
by

For me, I think that Bitcoin is both a currency and an asset depends on how you want to utilize it.
You can use it as a currency when you shop online, or buy stuff, accommodations or services and use Bitcoin as your mode of payment. On the other hand, it is also being used as an asset, a valuable one when it comes to trading and investments. Personally, I am utilizing it more as an asset rather than as a currency since from where I come from, it is very rare to find a business that accepts Bitcoin as mode of payment, at least for now.

Re: Should we teach children to have businessman mentality or be successful employee
by
PatyZante
on 09/07/2018, 17:08:22 UTC
In my opinion, we cannot force children to be business minded or be that star employee. We can give them choices and be that person who supports and guides them in their decision-making. Early in their lives we can be living examples of how to be financially stable. This can be done in stages since children still have limited capacity to understand what's going on in their surroundings. We teach, they reach. On a side note though, since they are children, one thing that they will always be interested in will be. . .yes, playing games! Let's face it, in this day and age of technical advancements, games are becoming more and more interesting and at the same time, complicated. Can children learn from playing games? Of course they can. But like I said, we need to guide them. In games they meet new friends, sharpen their senses and heighten their decision making skills. Focusing more on meeting new friends, this is where EOT (EON) platform and format may come in handy. One interesting aspect of the EOT (EON) platform is having a game community. This is one good way of getting support from gamers all over the globe and learn from their skills. Will this apply to children? While they may not be in the right age bracket, we can use the same methodology applied in this aspect to teach children how gaining new friends in and out of games would benefit their development.

You have to ensure that you put time and effort in knowing these things before you jump into the waters, after all investing your hard earned money is something that is not easy, we have to make sure we did all our assignments first know what we are getting our selves into.

Re: Bitcoin mining is costly...
by
PatyZante
on 09/07/2018, 09:53:29 UTC
If we are talking about this say two or three years ago, I can say that yes Bitcoin mining is costly but it is a great idea and is very profitable. But now, as we speak, I don't think so, before mining is costly but it has great returns now, it still has good returns but the cost has sky rocketed that the good returns may not be good enough in the long run, most of the necessities on mining like the mining rig, equipment, electricity and all the stuff cost way way higher now due to the fact that it is being used for Bitcoin, so the profit is not as big as before since the investment capital alone is already high.
