New website and masternode guide
by

Linda team, congratulations on the web site, and the Community Q&A!

Finally some much need clarity and openness. Great!

Than my question, which is about the new masternode guide. Your github Basic-Masternode-guide states you should use masternode genkey to generate the masternodeprivkey for the conf file.

However, the new masternode guide states: masternodeprivkey=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX (Masternode0 dumpprivkey output).

Which one is it?

I am using the masternode genkey, and it works.

I am trying to install Linda on MX Linux.

Keep getting:
./Linda-qt
[libsecp256k1] illegal argument: Invalid flags

Which version of secp256k1 is Linda-qt 1.0.1.1 using?

thats what i would love to know as i am just running the lindad that compiled fine.

but i am getting the same error maybe it has relation to newer version of qt conflicting with it? didnt really wany to put much time into it either way.

Still looking into it. Will let you if I find out.

In the mean I have another question. Trying to build, following masternode-1.0.1.1/doc/build-unix.md. All pre-requisites ok, but when I can't execute "qmake -qt=qt5 USE_UPNP=-". Nothing happens.What I am doing wrong?

Can anyone help me to set up multiple masternodes on the same PC?

Can I run multiple masternodes from one and the same wallet?

dev?
In general, the same IP address can only open one masternode, which obviously you can't do.

Currently, I set up 2 separate wallets, running from the same PC. Both wallets show that the masternode is running.

But according to you that is not possible?

Can I run two masternodes from the same wallet?

Dev!?

Can you help me out here? Do you have a manual to set up multiple masternodes?

I spent a shitload of money getting the 30m plus coins.

I would appreciate some help.

Loosing money every day.

Guys, be careful with this Linda project, something too fishy here...

On Twitter, they claim will sign on 2000 merchants in a month or two, but the whitepaper stated is on Q3....

I just cut lost cause I don't trust this project anymore, even redesign website have to ask which design to follow?Huh
Have you read their current whitepaper?  There's nothing but rhetoric; no code, just theory.  No link to developer site.  No mention of who the developers are.  No explanation of what they mean by 99% APR.
People here won't even respond to you about these questions.

https://www.uswitch.com/credit-cards/guides/what-is-apr/
Yeah, I get that.  I'm not ignorant to what APR is--my question is in context of the coin.  Is it in relation to staking?  Is it like the usurious system set up in BitConnect?
There's simply no context, as if the document were written by a high school student.

I you are not ignorant, that should tell you all need to know. No thanks for the help

Masternode - No Rewards
by
PaulBrand
on 16/01/2018, 14:25:10 UTC
HI,

On January 11, 2018 I setup a masternode, but I have not received any rewards yet.

I can see my masternode under Masternodes in the wallet. No specific errors in the debug log.

Is that normal?

DEV - Please, please, PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Provide a bootstrap file as its taking weeks and months for new people to get their wallets to synch.  I would do it, but hence, my wallet hasn't synch so there is not file I can concatenate to do so.  The good news is, you do DEV.
Bootstrap file: https://mega.nz/#!0wtWTA4b!tsf8BFyhIJaPGVk-dd1wiXF4YonBTh0hnPiEPojKKAE

Hi, thanks for the bootstrap. Great!

However, I am getting the following error:
A fatal error occurred. Linda can no longer continue safely and will quit.

EXCEPTION: St13runtime_error
init_blockindex(): error opening database environment Corruption: 45 missing files; e.g.: /media/veracrypt6/cryptos/.Linda-Masternode1/txleveldb/1543150.ldb

Re: SUPPORT: Masternode problem

Hi,

I set up a new masternode. Everything seems ok.

Console says: successfully started masternode, and I can see it in the Masternodes list, 32 connections, up to date.

However, I have only received 3110 coins since 11/23/2017.

Restarted it, generated new key, etc., but to no avail.

Please help?

Please ensure that your TCP ports 33820 and 33821 are open in the firewall.

Thanks for the help.

Double checked that already.

Just for info, I have been running another masternode for the 2 months

Enable "Coin Control (experts only)" in options, then go to Send, then click "Inputs".  This will show you the current state of the collateral TX, which needs to be exactly 30M. You may need to re-do the setup.

Yes you can't stake and run a masternode at the same time because it blows up.  You have to lock the wallet after starting the node.

Dear btc22,

Thank you for your help.

I will re-do the setup andmake sure I have exactly 30M in the wallet.

If I unlock the wallet it gives an option "Staking only". I assume I have to de-select that option.

Should I put staking=0 in the wallet conf?

Once the masternode is started, the wallet needs to be locked completely. You can try the staking=0 option, I just keep the wallet locked and then it doesn't break.  I have a separate wallet on another computer for staking.

Hi,

Followed your advice and it all seems to work now. Thanks!

Is there a way I can make sure the masternode works and is seen (I cannot see it (yet) on masternode.pro)?

I'm not 100% sure how to do it in windows wallet, but I think you can do this in your debug console:

masternode list

..and then look for your IP

Or from Linux command line:

Lindad masternode list | grep

If you see your IP with " : 1" after it, then you're MN is enabled and on the network.

All seems to work. Thanks for the help

Masternode PROBLEM
by
PaulBrand
on 31/10/2017, 11:07:08 UTC
Hi,

Mymasternode was running without problems.

No, I get the messages:
2017-10-31 11:00:38 CActiveMasternode::ManageStatus() - Checking inbound connection to '192.168.0.102:33820'
2017-10-31 11:00:38 CActiveMasternode::GetMasterNodeVin - Could not locate specified vin from possible list
2017-10-31 11:00:38 CActiveMasternode::ManageStatus() - Could not find suitable coins!
2017-10-31 11:00:38 CActiveMasternode::Dseep() - Error: masternode is not in a running status
2017-10-31 11:00:38 CActiveMasternode::ManageStatus() - Error on Ping: masternode is not in a running status

If I type masternode start in the debug window, it says:
12:03:40 masternode start
12:03:40 not capable masternode: Unknown. Check debug.log for more information.

Which refers to the above stated debug messages.

The only thing I can think of is that I am receiving mined tokens that are added to the wallet, which means the token amount is not exact 30.000.000 anymore.

My conf:
rpcuser=xxxxxx
rpcpassword=xxxxx
rpcport=33820
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
daemon=1
server=1
listenonion=0
logtimestamps=1
maxconnections=256
masternode=1
masternodeprivkey=xxxxxxxxxxx
masternodeaddr=192.168.0.102:33820
addnode=104.238.159.161
addnode=45.32.77.164

Please help.

I am staking/mining but not masternoding. Is anyone else in this situation having the problem of unconfirmed mining rewards ( greyed out with [] )having "Generated but not accepted Mined" rollover message instead of the usual (and muy linda) "confirmed (#) Mined" of staking rewards?
It is happening with increasing frequency in my Wallet. Admin is there anything to do about it?  Huh
Same here

Try restarting the wallet, I've had this happen in the past and a restart seemed to clear it up.

Yes and what's happening with the website?

You are right. But I have been restarting my wallet every 1-2 hours for the past two weeks. It does sync, but no staking. The most annoying thing is: lousy feedback from the developer(s).

As reported before, I have the same problems, see the images that show as if the wallet is syncing, but the last block time is of October 26, 23:06 hours. Furthermore, my debug log shows exactly the same messages as from billy.roko.
I have already lost close to two weeks of staking trying to solve this.
A little more help from support would be appreciated., as it is seems now it is not my own problem.

If I remove 226540.ldb the wallet syncs again.
