Mt Gox Account Recovery

Hi an alle,

http://bitcoinmoney.com/post/6760109475/mtgox-account-recovery

denke mal das ich da vergebend hoffe....

Danke im Voraus

Hi @all

so i did higher deposit at the 24.02.14 - advised my bank to cancel it but they made a mistake and it gone through  Embarrassed
not that i have a pending withdraw with 45500€ ....

i work on it to recover it from my bank - hope i get it but it doesnt look as good as i want....

today they informed me about the answer from WBK Poland.

following:
Please be informed that your inquiry is under investigation.
We can confirm that the payment was executed and your account has bin credited.

at the moment beneficiary is not available and we are not able to return the funds.

unfortunately according to polish law we cannot give you more detailed information....

so i think WBK works but from the bankruptcy statement on they are also involved and under investigation of the court.

bankruptcy protection protects MtGox for any sue.

So - sadly!!! - i think we can do nothing....

also i tried to phone this callcenter - so way, always busy...

thats just what i think - any further ideas helping out is highly appreciated.

Guys,

This looks more like a restructure and rebrand now than before...
"Bankruptcy Protection" has some similarities to "Bankruptcy" but there is a huge difference...

http://www.ehow.com/info_8053559_bankruptcy-vs-bankruptcy-protection.html
http://www.differencebetween.net/business/difference-between-bankruptcy-and-bankruptcy-protection/

It is basically a protection from the court to give them time to restructure and remodel and rebrand and re-everything (recode, relocate etc) while investors cannot sue them during that time:
http://www.zalkinrevell.com/bankruptcyprotection.html

So.. think about it, if they are going to rebrand and start new, what is the next step they need to make? this one.

Some evidence:
1. There was a HUGE btc debt erasing for a low $ value in the last weeks of trade on MTGox. (about 350k-400k coins have been erased as debt for a sum of around $63,000,000 - $72,000,000 ($180 per coin).
2. Gox.com redirects to MTGox.com.
3. Gox.com registry shows it was recently changed to the name of Mark Carpeles.
4. Mark said other parties are involved in trying to find a solution to this current problem, its live on mtgox.com
5. It's obvious that not taking a step to save and rescue almost a million MTGox customers can damage Bitcoin severely in the long run, due to more banks not agreeing to work with BTC companies, more regulation straggling Bitcoin businesses, panic from main stream and more. Therefore it is an incentive for big players to intervene.
6. On the document where a rescue plan is discussed and structured, the date for the shut-down of MTGox's website/trade is Japan morning time of the 25th February 25th. The document was released BEFORE the shut down happend, and indeed it was at the time specified.
7. The next step, according to the document is to restructure and Mark to step down.

In my view, the chances of that rescue plan to be happening just got a lot bigger.

Obviously, I might be wrong, and obviously even if a plan IS happening it doesn't guarantee it will succeed.

Anyway, I think you should know and realize that this is (in my opinion) probably what is going on.
We should get a statement on MTGox.com website within a week in my opinion.

Nice post and I am inclined to agree.

Disclaimer: I am one of the Goxxed and may not be in full possession of all my marbles while still firmly in the denial stages of grief.

if that plan works - what does it mean for all of us who hang in with our money?
appreciate any support to understand it

Since posting in the other threads would bump them anyway, it sounds like you just wanted your own thread. Now there's three threads to watch instead of two. I'm having trouble seeing how this helps anyone.

no i just want ONLY ONE thread including ALL ( and hope that all guys who receive funds dont open a new cause then we have plenty ) -
it not on my personal image or some like that
just to give it to all others...

Mt Gox withdrawal received PLEASE ONLY POST HERE

Hey guys,

if anybody also receive funds from Mt Gox please post it in this Thread.
And please only use this for an overview of all funds which make it.

like in this two Threads:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=488636.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=489652.0

So if there are more funds coming through there is hope that the bank still working and we should stop hit them with mails, phonecalls etc. so that they just can do their work and all of us who have pending withdrawals getting our money as fast as possible...

Also it would calm down the whole discussion and specutaltion etc.

thats all interesting points...
really confused for everyone of us what the best to do yet.
5000PLN recoverd is not as much - the equivalent differenz per claim from tokyo means we sue first Poland and then Tokyo.
so if i weigh the profit of this ( really appreciated initiative for your community ) and the affects of negativ - especially for people with pending withdrawals where seems to be processed during em ty gox site is down show´s that they where advised not to communicat but ( thats selfishly outputed ) hopefully do their job processing withdrawals getting out before emtygox goes off...

cool thoughts - for my part i am not sure what point im going in.
surely it is not easy to manage such a quest - on the other side mark should or could do this job with more empathic customer orientation.... and so on....

so i wait for the fakts whats really up before i decide my point of view...

Only problem is "Magical Sky Daddy" had most of his retirement portfolio in his Gox account...    Shocked

sorry guys but something urgent came up and i have to go offline for a bit. Back in 2h

sorry but I didn't understand what you mean. Is this action only for people who wired PLN to Gox' account at WBK Bank Zachodni?
If a user had Euros on his account resulting from BTC trading instead of deposit, aren't those funds supposed to be still located on the Polish bank?

I transferred 35000€ to the Bank, so i am whit you.

on this way you will get back max. 5000 PLN as you can read earlier in this posts. So it is a max around 1200€
against 35000€

not a good idea i think!

Good question. There must be some Gox account in there.

Yes, only for those who recently deposited PLN or (not sure if EUR) to mt.gox WBK account.

The funds from trading on mt.gox "might be" still located in the WBK.  The problem with that is it is impossible to prove to the court(at this point). there is no laws or regulations in regards to virtual currency in poland (as of yet). this is about fiat currency deposits.

hey st4nl3y
sry to hear this bads from you mate at first - take you time to cover.... really bad day!

the 2. is - can you point out if it belongs also to EUR or only to PLN?
recently deposited is clear enough for all of you guys who read this.

and you have to think about the other users who have fresh confirmed withdrawals - maybe they can be affected?
whats your thoughts?

screen shot please

hmm - thats good!

It is less than 1k EUR (SEPA) and was requested on Jan 9th. I had no hope since the website closed yesterday. Seems they still working? I have more cash in their account though.
Until the time the mtgox website has not shut down, which status was your withdrawal in? Confirmed, processed, pending?

It was "confirmed" when I checked some time last week.

most time was lost between confirmed and processed. My withdraw was also confirmed. Money wasn´t in my account but somewhere out in the hands of gox. Waiting for the mail - processed; after that point it take a few day´s and it appears in your bank account.
Also i had a response at the 24th that they give the withdrawals to their bank and they will proceed it .... so if you have an screenshot there is really hope ...
