nyan based games and novelty merc alone should/would make this coin HUGE

1. POS yes?
2. new algo ... 11x ... todays sexy algo, maybe scrypt SALSA or OG (but is it needed if nyan goes POS)
3. website ... go for something fun ... nyanmoneycat.com / rainbowcatmoney.com / nyanna.com / whatisnyan.com
4. get a solid dev plan and it will happen (this is the biggie)

What you mean? Explain please this classification.there is a marketing effort to brand some altcoins gen 2 i think nxt claims to be next gen , they have alot of star trek references

Some proof of stake only coins have official pools that mine other cryptos then buy their coin at market and payout to the miners.
Similarly i suggest accepting donations in other crypto and use to amass funds for the foundation in nyan.

I wonder if we should first just do maintenance builds with no major changes except fixes like heartbleed, new website and opt in community / foundation and some fundraising for PR.

also IMHO the halving should be faster or total supply less like 160m like ZET
Right idea, but we have very poor hashrate now, and reward halving can kill it.Like MEOW, after last reward halving hashrate halved too.
Price must doubles for prevent it.
