I'm a FSF associate for month already :-) and I've obviously been talking about BTC pledges on the channel. The message is (PDPC's too): the more, the better.

BTW, it might sound cheesy and even ad-like to some of you, but when I talked to PDPC (FN organisation) staffers, I said that our start-up (that will heavily rely on Bitcoin BTW) may spare them of hassle of dealing with BTC, J. agreed that it might be interesting and I guess that FSF[E?] staff might like it too. BTW, we're hiring (telecom joint (Google replacement ;-D) here, and a guy who've posted in this topic may prove that we *are* real and will pay in Bitcoin to the interested. PM me for details.

10" Lemote Yeeloong laptop

I've got a white Yeeloong 8101, a beautiful and completely (FSF-)Free 10.1"+ laptop with MIPS ISA and the best keyboard layout I've ever seen. It's plainly superb, but it has a couple drawbacks I should mention:
**SUSPEND support* - that's a critical one, I'd research for work-arounds through
Tiny battery - not too much autonomous work for this power footprint (the thing is 3-cell through and that's because of superb weight the laptop has to maintain)
Lack of storage medium (I've thrown away the Seagate HD is came with, may get something in place through)
Broken display (not visible, but I broke it with a blow. It'd cost less than 250 BTC to repair it through I figure)
And the main thing, why I'm into selling it at all: it has moving parts (a fan) and I don't want my laptop to.
I'm fine with it because it has a D-sub and is completely usable as a terminal, but let's try setting up a little Dutch here: 500 is the starting price and you pay for the shipment from Russia (I paid more than 500 USD for this, and also I shipped directly from Lemote, and that was another hundred or so, insurance included. It was a huge delay, too, keep that in mind). You can order a brand new one at http://freedomincluded.com/product/lemote-yeeloong for 550 USD, so 500 BTC for a Dutch would be fair I guess.
(Don't bother with lowering the price below 250 + shipping point through, I'd rather keep it)

I'm not glad at all that this Intel thingie was so laggy that I couldn't participate, but I just hanged around in hope that once I kill this Chrome beast, it'd be OK, and in spite of that, I've got 10 shiny new BTC to gamble here, thanks! :-)
I hope that you'd actually consider opening the game as it should have been. If there's a lot of code clean-up to be done, may provide you with good coders and several grand BTC if licensing is a problem Wink

So, well...
I'd pay 500 BTC for an XO that ships by 9th, and you return 50 BTC for each day I don't have my hands on it, starting from 10.02. Deal?

Any XO that arrives at either capital by 9th would qualify, if it takes longer to ship, I want something more recent.

Wow. So your SW is pretty UNIX-wayish, huh?
Good. I may get it to you. Any special requirements? What about bandwidth?
