Does anyone know when this coin will be added to the Bittrex exchange? I now trade only on this exchange and did not see there this coin
The coin can be bought on other exchanges. To do this you will not even need to undergo a long verification. I bought on such exchanges, and then brought to the wallet
Buying it on Cryptopia and Yobit is quite straightforward (I would recommend Cryptopia).
We do hope that Bittrex is in the future, but we're still waiting for the tech first
I saw in the start topic a warning about the exchange of YoBit. Does anyone know if it is possible to buy coins there now? And can I enter coins that I have in my wallet on this exchange?
Yobit is a shady and unreliable exchange that often has their wallets in maintenance so you cannot deposit or withdraw those coins. But it often has lower XBY prices so if you do buy from Yobit, immediately withdraw your coins to your own wallet so that they don't get stuck on Yobit. It's less risky to just buy from Cryptopia or C-Cex instead.

It's unfortunate that all these trolls picked XBY to target and then to make personal issues with CCR. It really degraded our productive and project related communication process in the slack. I support restricting the slack to productive members if that is what it will take to get some work done on this. Go XBY team!

The volume and price on coinmarketcap are both going up. I think we are going to see another moon real soon. The price at the last all time high was 1700 satoshis back in June. How much would the price go up to in the next few months is anyone's guess but I'm reasonably confident that it will be higher than the last ATH.

Imo, it would be better if you take the encrypted wallet backup file in the .dat format and import it on your new computer. You should save the private key in any case for extra precaution but just transferring the wallet data file should be sufficient.

As mentioned in my previous post, we have a marketing team preparing several different projects to be released in the coming days. What people don't get is people fucking love XBY nodes because they know they can earn service fees later with them from Daaps so potentially long term have a great source of income.
The other thing they dont get is now circulating supply once every one scrambles for these nodes will only be 100m!!!! So a Marketcap of 100m would now mean each XBY is 1$ which means EVERYONE WHO BUYS NOW GONNA BE RICH!!! Even a fucking market cap of 10m means XBY will be $.10 which is about 7 times the current price!!! Fuck me this coin gonna win big.

Indeed, this should be obvious to anyone with even half-a-brain. The time to buy your XBY for cheap is now, before they open up the static node registrations.

Yes, I really believe that Xtrabytes will be a top 50 cryptocurrency if not the top 10 by the end of 2018. Others have already posted the information about XBY and their opinions so I'm not going to repeat all of that. I advise everyone to learn more about this exciting investment opportunity and groundbreaking new blockchain technology.

Furthermore, the 'prize' depends on the person's point of view but I'm assuming he was referring to the price, which it definitely is not about either.

To be ready for if/when Level 1 nodes open up again, do you need to have exactly 600,100 XBY on a single address? Can you have more?

To register a node you need to have the exact amount, but once it is registered you can add more coins to that address if you wish (the wallet/coins gets placed in cold storage either way). Nodes only break if the balance goes below 500k coins.
You will be able to run them at home of course, or on a VPS. I know a lot of people in the Slack who are planning on using VPS. Energy consumption should be really quite low as well due to the nature of Proof-of-Signature.

I will get an address ready that has exactly 600,100 XBY on it (500k for the L1 node + 100k XBY fee + 2 x 50 XBY transactions).
I like the idea of using a VPS but does that mean that you have to have your wallet with 500k XBY in it sitting on the server? I remember reading with some of these masternodes you can simply link to an address that contains the required sum which can be safely stored offline.
Also, what happens if the VPS goes down and your node goes offline? Do you immediately lose your L1 node status or is there some leeway for uptime?
As far as I understand it, the deposit wallet is not the actual node wallet that will be sitting on the VPS. You can put your deposit wallet in cold storage after it has been successfully registered as a valid node. This provides additional security for your deposited XBY as hackers have nothing to gain even if they break into the VPS with the node wallet because the actual XBY is in a separate deposit wallet.
You do not lose your node for downtime. Only if you reduce the required deposit amount from the 500,000 XBY level.
