Re: is investing in ICO's a good option?
by
Pepito Manaloto
on 08/01/2019, 14:03:28 UTC
is it a good idea to invest in ICO's and what do you think is a good deciding factor to pick what ICO's to invest in?
It depends on the ICO project that you want to invest as well as the market behavior. This is basically what we are seeing at this moment. No matter how good or popular an ICO project is, negative market behavior particularly with the downtrend, will influence the outcome and the profit from investing into such projects. Maybe, it would be a better thing to wait for now until the market itself, starts to recover. That would be surely the time where ICO investment would be again, profitable.

Re: Ethereum is the king of all altcoins
by

There is no gainsaying about this, that Ethereum is truly the king of all altcoins.

Ever since XRP took over the 2nd position, i knew it was not going to last. The updates that were being announced were just taking profits.

Inasmuch as cryptocurrency and blockchain technology is concerned, decentralization will always take the lead, because that was the purpose of creating blockchain.

This is just the beginning. The Bakkt approval has not yet been lunched, other proposed milestones have not started and this is happening (eth on position 2).

What if the updates are eventually integrated, we might see ethereum at 0.05 BTC per ETH.
At this moment, despite of the negative market behavior, Bitcoin still, is the 'king' of all cryptos. Indeed there is an expected hardfork in Ethereum this year and it could be its chance to be on top of the cryptos but since it is still only a possibility at this point,  there's no assurance yet, so we better just wait for things to occur and hope that there will be positive changes in the market behavior not only for ethereum but to the whole cryptomarket or as for the majority of crypto industry.

Re: What is the most legit btc casino/sportsbook/poker site?
by

There are many online gambling sites to mention which are truly paying the gamblers. I mean, based in my experience from different online gambling sites, there are only random instances wherein a gambling site is not paying , as being reported by my co-players. But personally, I have not encountered being scammed from an online gambling site maybe because when I am choosing an online gambling site, I do first check the site's background as well as the feedback from the gamblers.

Right now, I am playing in vegascasino.io and I would say that it is one of the legitimate gambling sites nowadays. But there are more ; many gambling sites are now being released in onling gambling industry for a reason that people are more exposed in online activities and this gave online casinos an idea that same thing would happen in gambling. Many people are now really being interested in playing gambling games online due to the freedom of accessibility and convenience with the transactions.

Many gamblers are now more into online gambling than those who are going into casinos ( just correct me if I'm wrong), as what I have observed. Well, we cannot really question them for doing so because online gambling sites can be accessed any time and any where they would want to as long as internet connection is present. This simply helps them to enjoy gambling more. Just be careful from gambling sites which are confusing and always make asking other players for feedback, a habit. to avoid anomalies.

Re: God of winning be with all the gamblers in 2019.
by
Pepito Manaloto
on 02/01/2019, 14:00:59 UTC
Hard to said this but we must be truth to ourself.  Gambling is the most risky among all the investments ventures and it is really very difficult for you to continue making profits.  I believe that currently we should not hesitate to make this prayers that God should put his favor on us and for us to keep making many winning trade than 2018.
Gambling is really a risky activity especially if you engaged yourself into it to earn profit. Winning is simply uncertain and cannot be manipulated. No matter how much a gambler would want to win, it won't be achieved unless he is lucky at that moment. Gambling is just a game of luck, therefore it is not a reliable source of income because profit is not constant. There are many people who have lost huge amount of money from gambling which makes them desperate of winning. This further yields to addiction into gambling.

Let's just wish that wins would be felt by those who have lost too much and once they've achieved such thing , they will be more conscious with what gambling is all about which is risk and luck. Hopefully, this year would be somewhat in favor for us, gamblers, to win profit. Since there are no assurance still, let's just make a way to enjoy such activity as gambling and to not be too hooked up into it to avoid the 'dangers' of addiction. Now that gambling is more accessible through online gambling sites, more people would be exposed into gambling, therefore, we should be more awared on what we are engaging ourselves with.

Online gambling sites are the new trend in gambling industry. Maybe because of the convenience that it is giving in particular with the accessibility, transactions and enjoyment from different gambling games being offered. Games including poker, dice games, slots and more can be played on different online gambling sites such as vegascasino.io
Focus on the enjoyment than to stress out with the loss. Hopefully, this would be a good year for us.

Re: What can we do for shit coins in our wallet?

I have done some bounty campaigns that were unsuccessful.. Also some were scams. But I have received some tokens from few of that projects. So I need to know this, Is there any opportunity that can I use this tokens?  Smiley Smiley
The best thing to do is to just keep it in your wallet as a remembrance, why? selling it would just be a problem for you because of the transaction fee in order to sell it. So perhaps you'll be earning profit from shitcoins, that will just be few cents so selling it will just be a waste of time. The profit you'd get will just make your feeling bad because you have exerted effort in it.

Re: Not yet an end for crypto
by

on 01/01/2019, 16:39:44 UTC
2019 have already started and indeed, what happened last year in cryptomarket is something that will never be forgotten by many investors because that was the year wherein they have lost huge amount of money due to the continuous downtrend. This year has just began and we should hope for positive changes. If ever this year would be worse, it would really be a problem to the crypto industry so for now wait and believe that something positive would happen.

Is now at the end of the year a good time to buy or i have to wait for the new year to enter ?
You'll surely be adviced to wait for a little longer. Investing at this point despite of being tempting, would be risky. There is no assurance that recovery would really happen next year and as such it would be a better thing to do to playsafe and to not be that much greedy. This could be a golden time of investinf but can also be turned into a gamble.

Bitcoin (BTC) is looking increasingly bullish on a key technical chart following its strong move above $4,000.
https://www.coindesk.com/this-price-chart-indicates-bitcoins-bulls-are-back-in-business

i believe, when the price of bitcoin rising, others crypto will rising too,,
be ready everyone, choose the right cryptocurrencies now,
so, you don't miss the bull train  Wink

i bet ethereum, ADA, EOS and waves will be huge in 2019, what about you ?

I don't think so. What I am seeing is that the market is still bleeding at this moment that no recovery is still happening in the market. Therefore, the chance for a comeback next year is still blurry and not assured. If there will be no recovery, the market might collapse due to lack of interest from the investors which is obviously a bad thing.

Re: If an ICO team is anonymous, is it a scam?
by
Pepito Manaloto
on 27/12/2018, 23:09:53 UTC
When deciphering between legit and scam ICO's, one of the main things everyone says is "you have a look at the team and see if they're transparent."

The thing is, the whole ideology behind decentralization is that it gives the public control over the economy's trajectory, rather than centralized and specific entities.

I see the Virternity Project, for example (https://virternity.com/), which prefers anonymity, but I'm not sure it means it's a scam ICO.

from their FAQ:

"Why aren't you revealing who is in your team?"

"The members of our team are enthusiastic about the idea of creating the Virternity space for the whole world. We want to avoid “buy-outs” of our specialists and co-workers, and also avoid pressure on them.

Also, given the limited financing at the initial stage, we are using anonymity as a shield for our technological secrets—the specifics of our current and future developments.

Many members of our team have serious jobs in major firms and do not want to advertise their participation in a non-commercial project, in order to avoid conflicts of interest.

In the future, once these factors are less of an issue, we plan to publicly name the founders and key personnel."

Satoshi remains anonymous..

Thoughts?
It won't automatically be a scam because some projects are just new in the market so it is sometimes normal to be not that recognized by the majority. But there would be a high tendency that it will ( but will not always be) be a scam. Still, always check for the project's bwckground to gather some informations because credibility is an important thing to avoid profit loss.

here is nothing new,
everithyng will be ok,
we can see market reborn soon

That's the best thing we can do at this moment which ia to trust the cryptos for a comeback next year. The market is still on downtrend at this moment despite of the fact that we are only days away before this year end and that is obviously a negative thing. For now, we should encourage others to just hold at the moment and to wait for things to recover.

Re: predictions of 2019
by
Pepito Manaloto
on 27/12/2018, 22:44:57 UTC
1. Surprise - Life goes on Smiley

2. Much more projects will die

3. New projects will start

4. It will be a year of crypto education

5. It will be a year of maturation

6. Delays of fully POS in Ethereum

7. Improvements in User Experience - Keep an eye out for (Elrond - work on exquisite user experience is being done)

8. Facebook in crypto?

9. ..... - You write your predictions
Expectations as such is not surprising. The tendency is that the market behavior this year is by far the worst so in order to still have confidence, they would have positive prediction for next year. But the bottomline is lack of assurance that the market would be mobing in a positive direction next year. The best thing to do now is to just wait and see it for ourselves.

Re: Is investing on ICOs still profitable?
by
Pepito Manaloto
on 27/12/2018, 22:27:17 UTC
Hello everyone, I have seen many failed projects recently. I have received many emails regarding investing on ICOs, so is it still a good time to invest? I didn't made good with my earlier investments. Is there still a future for ERC-20 tokens?
At this moment, investing in icos is risky because there is a higher possibility to lose profit that to earn due to the influence of negative market behavior in the price of the ico tokens. Actually there are even rumors that Icos will stop on the next year but hopefully it won't because many bounty hunters are relying in campaigns in order to make profit.

THIS IS SO INTERESTING TO ME!!! so whats the word??
what are people doing?
HODL?? PANIC SELLING?? COMMENT BELOW I'm curious as to what everyone is doing during the current CRYPTO LANDSLIDE??? LET ME KNOW!!
Some people have already sold their tokensbor cryptos due to lack of hope that the market will never recover. On the other hand, there are still people who are holding at this moment and being patient despite of the bloody market situation. Some people are engaging in trading and gambling to still make profit at times like this that downtrend is dominant.

Re: What are the coins your are holding now and regret not selling them before?
by
Pepito Manaloto
on 26/12/2018, 23:24:53 UTC
I got some NAS in August, thinking that the price can go up (impulsive decision based on advice I shouldn't have listened to). I should have sold them in October, when they gained a bit. Now they are ridiculously cheap and I don't see much hope for even reching the August price in the nearest future. Do you have similar "regret buys"?
I am holding almost all cryptos or coins I earned from bounty campaigns. I do feel a slight guilty on not selling them before but regrets has nothing to do with the present events especially with regards ro the market behavior. What would seem to be  a better thing to do is to just hold and wait for recovery. selling at this point will yield to unsatisfaction with profit so it won't be a good thing todo.

Hi all. I took part in more than 3 hundred bounties in two year. Last half year there are no pay from project to hunters. Maybe bounty will die or it's transformayion in something other Huh  Huh Huh
Is it possible to participate on more than 300 bounties within two years knowing that most of the project lasts for a month? But going back to the main topic, there are rumors that ico projects will die next year and it will also include bounty campaigns. Still, there's no need to panic yet because that is not a fact, still. be patient for now and continue holding.

Re: Last quarter hope?

on 25/12/2018, 23:15:01 UTC
I really don't see any changes on the crypto in this last quarter continuous price drop has disappointed everyone in this forum and the market has crashed. I don't think there will be a bull run this year.
At this moment, no last quarter increase is seen. This year is about to end within a week but nothing changes in the market situation. Hopefully, once 2019 enters, there will be a slow recovery in order to give hope to the people that the market still has a chance to recover. Be patient for now as this year is about to end because one wrong investment at this moment would result to regrets.

What is your best plan, if you look at the uncertain crypto market situation, do you have plans to invest in several altcoins?
what coins do you think will be good in 2019. Thanks. Smiley
it is surely hard to determine which crypto would be able to recover from the continuous market downfall at this moment. Also, the increase is still uncertain for 2019. The idea of a price increase is just pure speculations or predictions of the majority. There is a tendency that the market would still be on downfall in 2019. So let's just hope that the market next year would be way better than this year. Avoid investing at this point, and rather wait for recovery to first occur.

Re: Time to invest or wait ?

on 20/12/2018, 23:56:41 UTC
Hi.

I have been part of this community for a while now. And i never got the chance to make any investments as i was short on money. But recently i got a little money and i wanted to invest but looking at the market as it is going down and down again, i have decided to learn from you guys and take into account the advice of you people.

What should i do.

Invest in right now,
Should wait,
or Should i just put my money in some other industry like Real estate ?

Need your opinion guys. What would you had done in a similar situation at this point of time ?
For sure, it would be a wiser thing to do to not e in a rush right now and to just carefully wait until the recovery take over the market downfall. It would be much better to temporarily save your money and to just use it to invest on crypto, once increase become obervable in the market. Investing at this point even if it is tempting due to the amount of peofit to be earned in the future, would be risky not knowing which cryptos would be able to withstand downfall.

Re: Holding shitcoins will not make u rich
by
Pepito Manaloto
on 20/12/2018, 23:44:17 UTC
Because when new bull run will arrive there will be new shitcoins and your shitcoins will end dead or delisted from exchanges which can lead to 100% loss.History is always repeating.
5,5 years old chart:

Surprisingly some coins from this chart are up from then but volume on exchanges is low,so holders of these coins are truly bagholders.

Thatsm's the tendency. In the first place, it won't be called as "sh*tcoin" for no reason. These are coins which are not having price increase or market development upon being released in the market. In this market situation, no matter how huge the potential of the project is,  most of the coins are resulting to nothing. Most of the cryptos are negatively influenced by the market behavior right now so maybe, it would be better to further wait for changes.

Re: When is the best time to buy Altcoin?
by
Pepito Manaloto
on 20/12/2018, 23:35:14 UTC
I noticed that there are many investors who likes to participate during ICO because of the huge profit but its very risky as well.

When is the best time to buy Altcoin?

ICO stage?
From Exchange?
Wait for the dip?
I would say that the time on investing to altcoin should depend on the market situation. Altcoins are mostly less stable than Bitcoin. As such, investing would be more risky especially if the market is on downtrend. What we are seeing at this moment simply explains what I am pointing out. At this moment, cryptomarket is at its deepest and at the same time, investment on projects are most cryptos do result to profit loss due to the influence of the situation into cryptoactivities.
