Never. 2% per year, as long as the coins lasts. You have to have an incentive to keep the network running. In this case the network is the wallets staking the coin. I don't know the commonly used figure for coin loss, but I'll bet it's close to the 2% value.
Also that is 2% of the coins staking in wallets. Not all coins.

I have lots of patience but we need to see some progress also if you take this a serious project.
ATMs plan is on the road, and investors will get to fill them up with their share of Maryj
pawllets and conix cards have begun to evolve in the digital currency space, and maryj is well into it
ofcourse it would have been good to know if dev needs more capital to run the project, but then again they haven't asked for it

with exchanges being caught up in lawsuits and now exchanges found to be doing insider bot trading you can see why i want to eliminate exchanges and go pure atm.
and to the ppl talking fud please stop.
just waiting for the exchanges themselves to stop doing illegal criminal bot trading on members.
I started the weed coin market as i bring real world value to it.....so if you fall for bullshit thats your own fault ive been working on getting a legit coin going for the past year feel free to look at my previous posts and twitter feed.

Well that's upsetting. Yes, I may have said something like "has anyone heard from Adam?", but it's only because I like to hear all updates from you, some things I've missed until week later in some cases. Asking that does not make me a fool. I buy a little MaryJaneCoin everyday and holding. I hope sooner or later I can buy out all of them on Bittrex to end this bot crap. I'm also really trying to think of many ideas to help this coin. I personally am not asking for a new dev. I understand all the hard work you're doing. I don't have all the details about bots and why the price has fallen. I'm not bringing it up because I'm pissed that I've lost money, because I haven't. I bought all of mine at 170 sat.

in the beginning MaryJ functioned as an investment vehicle.
during the "great dump" capital was raised, and a good part of it didn't go to speculators but been put into production, eg operational costs, which is absolutely reasonable and the way for this business we are in to go
keep in mind that Maryj will also function as money to buy a specific good with a value determined by market forces and regulations

mk boys, ill say it again, we need a multipool. not only will it make it so miners who cant aford to buy coins get some but it will put constant buys in to help keep the price more stabilised. This and the android wallet should be top priority. but the multipool is a must if we want this price to keep from hitting the bottom. coinking, hashcows and xpool all offer this or if we have an awesome pool guy amongst us make one so we can all point our miners there and support the price.
Has anyone shouldered this yet? I will contact Adam and make sure he has seen this post.
I think chunky pools use to do it as well.
Any experience from any one here that has been involved with a community that has used the above pools?

As far as chunky goes, the last time i used when was when whitecoin was new on the scene and it was a bit messy, but then that was probably the coins fault.

Also, this is a question to the community at large:
If there is an availability for you to point miners at a pool that pays you in maryj which algo is best for you?
My thoughts are that the current most profitable algo is the one to go with, but that is ever changing so that would require miners to change at a moments notice so that seems out of the question. So if we pick just one I would lean towards X11 because according to whatmine.com it seems to be always at the top of the list for most profitable coins. Also, if we wanted to take a hit on profitability and be a bit more sinister we could point the multipool at c*** and dump the coins to buy maryj.
We shouldn't have to do something sinister in order for MaryJaneCoin to succeed.
There is nothing sinister about a multipool? it helps maintain healthy buy support, help you run promotions and helps people that can't buy Maryjane directly to gain access to some

i haven't understand if it is disposable or not
if it is, why design a layout for it? all it needs is a QR print, on recycled paper, with maryj's stamp on it IMO
(if a design is desirable, i woud suggest a plain green colour with a small maryj sign and the qr code)

If you check out http://maryjanecoin.cryptaddress.net/ you'll pretty much find what you're looking for. Plain Jane is on the 'single wallet' page while if someone is looking for something to use as a gift - or even practical applications, like purchasing extract with their MJ, then they can print off the design found on the 'paper wallet' page. It's coin development and progress we're going for here. If everyone did just ONE small thing for this community we could set yourselves up nicely for the future.
I like when my investments increase, so why not take 30 mins to preserve that?
