Here is the BetKing Bankroll Token smart contract
https://etherscan.io/token/0xb2bfeb70b903f1baac7f2ba2c62934c7e5b974c4

Withdrawals from the site will be enabled later today or tomorrow.

I've submitted details to etherscan.io to list it properly and contacted one exchange so far.

Not sure how to get it added to MEW so if anyone has a contact for them let me know.

Also let me know what exchanges I should contact.

Dean

Poloniex

I dont use them, but i know they have volume for alt's - and i dont think their listing procedure is too onerous.

at one point i had about 70 BTC on Satoshi dice, i did get all out, but it took about two-three weeks. Absolute nonsense.

Site CONSTANTLY goes down, absolutely no word from support ever and the hot wallet takes a week to refill.

If this site isnt a scam, it is run by the world's most incompetent people. In which case you should withdraw anyway right?

How do you fuck up a money printing machine so completely?

Just going to refund the ICO investors now.

ICO is cancelled now. Thanks for all who showed interest.

Balances will be updated in the next few hours.

Did something happen?

A lot of people decided to take refund so there's not enough raised.

FYI, my balance on the site shows my BTC, but when i go to withdraw it says Balance: 0

Can you try refresh or log out then back in? Had reports it was an issue if trying from account page. Maybe make sure you are on the dice page?

Yeah from the dice page it seems to work.

FYI, the withdrawl seems to have "gone through" as my balance shows 0 now, but my wallet hasn't received any transaction, blockchain doesnt show anything broadcast to that address either.

Hi everyone.

Little update.

I don't know if anyone noticed but we were down over Christmas due to a security breach.
No players lost funds. I lost 18 Btc.
Full details here https://betking.io/help/attack

Obviously I imagine that would have a negative effect on the ICO.

However the site is back up now and so far I've had nothing but support in the forum and emails.

There's still 4 days left of the ICO fund raising period.

Thanks

Thanks for keeping us updated. if you have 2FA enabled, it doesnt seem to let you reset at all (just refreshes the page on the reset PW screen when you enter a new PW). Nonetheless i sent a support email already.

Update / Edit: Support fixed the issue and I'm back in my account- other issue

Under investment history it no longer shows how much / when you deposited to the ICO?

Upon further review, my transaction history seems it is totally wrong, its not just missing info for my ICO investment, but deposit history as well. (support in contact with me about this as well and looking into it)

Edit Edit: Support help me figure it out, very helpful and very patient, much appreciated. All sorted.

i don't necessarily disagree, but your figures seem quite low.

>>The past week, there has been ~670 btc wagered on Betking. That is an expected profit of 6.7 btc/week, or $5,000 per week

my personal returns for the past 60 days was an average of 1.5 BTC per month, and i was about 1% of the bankroll. So i would guesstimate its about 35 BTC per week, not 6.7.
what was your Invested amount?

There’s also the possibility in future for BetKing to be acquired by a bigger company in which investors will share 30% of the total sale price.
Who will get the other 70%?

Who do you think... Betking (Dean) would since he controls that 70%

Dean - i made a withdrawal from the site (its pending, its rather large, i dont know if your hot wallet would cover it) - but this was before i read this thread. is it possible for you to cancel the withdrawal? just for sake of speed. If not, it doesnt matter, i can just re-deposit. figured id save myself the transaction fee if possible.

Reduced investor risk to 3x now. Still 185 Bitcoin max payout per bet!

May i ask why?
if someone really got lucky (let say he won a lot from a bet (hittted max profit)) and investors set to max kelly/risk before that win, all of investors would be crying (maybe), their investment will reduced a lot. i think that's why the owner reduce the risk.

Ok, but shouldn't it be our choice to take that risk or not?

Our bankroll is now over 6200 Bitcoin with a max profit in a single roll 246 Bitcoin!

Why was the decision made to limit investments to 4x Kelly?

I guess they dont limit it to 4x kelly but they lower it to 4x kelly but still you can invest on 5x kelly or more if they have this thing. Usually people tend to play at 5x kelly to get more in return

I don't understand? or you don't understand?
You don't have an account?

6200*4*.01= 248

But imagine if everyone was at 25x..............
BTC1550
That's where the fun starts.... $1mil

What is the biggest bet ever on dice?

You can win up to 4% of the house bankroll, and after you factor in the commissions taken, it ends up being much more than 4x kelly.

It's an interesting situation.

The highest wagers can be made at BetKing because of how it's setup and because Dean has been trustworthy with the funds.

It allows Betking to have an amazing amount of volume (despite a small amount of total bets) and attracts the largest whales, but the variance for investors is incredibly high.

Luckily it has performed extremely well above its expectation.  Over-leveraging and a bit of a lucky streak from a whale could obliterate the site, so imo it's fine enough where it's currently set.

I actually will probably reduce it again soon. We want to maintain the largest max bet in the business but there's no need for larger risk.

The leverage system was great to give people the option of only putting a small amount of Bitcoin on the site and so not need to trust me with all their coins but no one used it for that, they want the largest share of bankroll so put all their money on 10x anyway!

Would you at all consider upping it for large investors? (people who could sign  transaction showing they have 100+BTC, etc...

Honestly why do people play/invest here...

Investors:
They consistently are one of the lower volume casinos out there that accept public funds (stats according to https://dicesites.com/satoshidice), and they have a giant bankroll. What this means is you are getting a tiny return.

I'll explain it this way:

They average under 100 BTC per day in wagered volume, yet they have a whopping 4000+ BTC bankroll. Lets do some quick math: 100BTC (daily wagered) * 1.9% (house edge) = 1.9 BTC expected return. Say you have 1 BTC invested, that means your expected return is 0.0475% daily... And that doesn't even include fees!

They average well under 100,000 bets per day. This means they don't have many players. Most of their competitors are in the millions daily (# of bets). This signifies an over reliance on key larger players.

Players:
Terrible customer support, slow bets, and slow withdrawals. Yikes. And 1.9% House edge? That's nearly double the industry standard!

Over the past 2 months my average return (daily) is about .1% which is pretty good.

Was having trouble logging in until I updated Adobe Flash.  Coincidentally it started working right after that--but I checked this forum and found that the login issues were server-related.

I'm trying to withdraw from my account to no avail, being told "Please wait, processing your request." (the loading symbol spinning indefinitely)

Seems like the hot wallet is empty right now?  I don't know why I'm unable to withdraw.  I'm not too concerned--Satoshidice has always worked well for me over the last year or so.  This is, however, the longest I've had to wait to withdraw.  Satoshidice admins: could you please sustain the hot wallet?  I'm starting to feel nervous, and others are surely no different.  Thanks

He is, it was loaded as of 8:31PM EST (although i just emptied it). There's a lot of people trying to withdraw, just wait a few hours / tomorrow morning and its usually back up again. To be honest, its reasonable, you dont want too much money in the hot wallet to limit potential theft. Investors took about 1,000 BTC already, and that doesn't include the users which is a lot more, so you just gotta wait a bit.

On a side note - are you guys doing anything to mitigate DDOS attacks? Someone really wants to keep the site down obviously. Maybe a another gambling site trying to get some runoff traffic..who knows.
