Re: Stocks with bitcoin

Not yet, but probably in the next 1 - 2 years.  Any website that any proposes for this purpose is not trustworthy unfortunately.

I would not guarantee it will be any different then now, except that you can pay in bitcoin.

The websites you purchase from still will be under same laws, so it is no easier to buy the stocks like OP mentioned.   They still have to do KNC stuff.  It will never be straight BTC to stock without a broker.  You have to know who is buying to prevent fraud, insider trading, etc.

Yes of course, I never said they would let you be anonymous.  Of course they still would have to know your identity.

Hmm, yeah that would suck to not have sound.  I never knew that was an issue.

Am I the only one that hasn't had a problem with sound?  I'm sure I've had all the updates, and it's always worked.   Huh

Sound works for me.  Also ZeroCloo, I am not sure but I believe table starter RB overrides the krill rakeback.  So if you are earning table starter RB you are already getting 50% back and don't think any additional krill RB. So theoretically if you played only at 2 - 3 handed tables, you could earn table starter RB but no krill RB.

What are the "superior" alt coins?

Would have been absolutely laughable for the following article to run on WSJ 1 year ago:

Interest in Bitcoin Grows on Wall Street

Mainstream is finally waking up.

Most importantly it taught me that big ideas are worth pursuing.  Even if their probability of success seems small.  It is worth trying to change the world and making it a better place.  Small groups of smart, motivated people can really make a difference!  3 years ago when I started learning about bitcoin, I was certain it would get shut down and would be killed in the crib... Absolutely amazing where we are now!

Making me lots of BTCBTCBTC was a nice plus as well  Grin

Re: Anything sustainable worth of investing?

Hey guys,

I post these questions a lot recently on different forums but I ve not been able to receive a satisfactory answer. Has BTC economy really turned into a sea of ponzies and scam?
Is there ANYTHING worth of investing these days? Anything which might provide sustainable dividend, regardless of how low it might be?

Pls do not post cryptodublers, pyramid schemes, 5% per day ROI websites and similar junk. Only verifiable and transparent options pls.

Possibly there are a few out of the hundreds of scams.  The problem is that you won't know until after the fact.

do you offering coaching?

Id love to win 6 btc..

He posts his bets in advance, so you can just make the same bets he does.  You can also bet in bigger amounts than him.  For example, if you bet 10x his wagers you would be up 60 bitcoins.  If you bet 100x, 600 bitcoins, etc.  Can also bet less.

BUT past results are not necessarily indicative of future performance!!

No sound, it makes the game pretty boring and dull Sad

Just fyi for you guys experiencing the sound issues, I found that starting a song on Spotify for some reason makes the sound start for SwC.  I have no idea why or what the interaction is, but somehow it triggers the sound on my client.  Might work for you guys too.  Haven't had that issue recently though.

As others mentioned not sure you could use an exact replica due to copyright but could create something very similar.

Re: Investing on gambling websites
by

I'm curious how investing on gambling websites work?
Let's make an example that website has 100 BTC of it's own capital.
Then an investor come and deposit another 100 BTC. Total bankroll of gambling website is then 200 BTC
What does this mean? Does the owner and investor share profits 50/50, or has the owner more percentage, because he build the website?

Here is the best explanation and answer to your questions Smiley

http://bitcoin-dice-guide.com/house-investment-explained/

Usually they'll explain how who gets what percentage of the profit share. It's never really 50/50 though. I'd be careful of investing in dice sites as well because most of them run off with users funds at some point.

No it is not 50/50 how could it be you have only invested some bitcoin the dev has built and maintained it and built the traffic to the point where you decide to invest, be happy with around 10%.

I have a hard time working out what you are warning here what dice sites are you warning about running with users money please name at least 5 for your statement to have any baring?

I will name 5 that have not Bitdice.me, Primedice, Justdice, pocketrocket,Rollin.io and many many more that have not ran anywhere and they could have quite easily an made a fortune so don't aim that at 'most' of them because it is an untrue statement is it not?

1. Ice Dice
2. Coinwin
3. DiceNinja
4. DiceBitco.in

Those are the ones that have run of with investors money that I can think of in the last 6 months. The intensives are perverse because the operator makes more money doing an exit scam than they make running the site successfully. What is needed is a trustless implementation with multisig and smart contract et cetera.

I invested ฿1 in the house bank of the top 9 dice investment sites and 3 have scammed me for the full amount, so 33%, not most but enough to make it a loosing proposition overall. All of those that have not scammed me are in profit, 3 of them a very healthy profit.

You can see the details and the up to date stats here Smiley

http://bitcoin-dice-guide.com/dice-investment-comparison/

Wow great summary and info.  I think it would be helpful if your comparison table also listed how long the dice site has run.  Also do any of the sites have known operators with real identities?

Most of the people here have the same thoughts as you , people are looking for it , but no one has found .

I have found it!  Bitcoin poker at SwCPoker!! PM me if you would like some guides for strategy, etc.

Also you can use your skills to crush the live competition as well (although unfortunately you can only play for fiat at brick & mortar casinos at the  moment).

But also dothebeats posted the other 3 that are legitimate.  As others have said, with any other form of gambling other than poker, its very likely you will eventually lose it all.  Bitcoin investments are also far too risky, especially now that AM has gone down.

Re: Small negative house edge
by
PeterB
on 30/03/2015, 05:39:52 UTC
Really like the originality behind this idea.  I think it is a good idea in theory and might work if the site could attract the exact same player population as normal dice sites.  However IMHO, the negative house edge will eventually attract a whale with a large enough bankroll that will beat the house.  The type of whale that would not normally be interested in -EV bets.

Brings up a good point though that a site with 0% house edge could be profitable (could also possibly use ad revenue or another revenue stream that players would accept due to the 0% edge).

Loving the new software and mixed games--so much fun although I have been getting destroyed.  100% confident that ST will sort everything out, and Micon has ALWAYS made things right when it comes to missing chips.
