I might change to mining something else, but I'm keeping these until around the 25th of March when the 50% premise is handed to the Icelanders. That will probably give this coin a huge, huge boost. Let's hope it starts getting used for real, that's the best case scenario. Worst case, it profits a bit from the attention and it's a good sell opportunity.

I wonder where you get that very precise information from. Did you get some divine information whispered in during the night of what the precise value of dogecoin at the moment is? Did that source also predict the precise future values, separate from what the exchange rate would be?

Exchange rate is a market concensus. So unless you have some information than most of us don't, I would consider the market to show the right value and your estimate to be, at least for this moment, to be a pipe dream.

Just started, but with 0% fee, I'll be here until Monday and ever after until another coin becomes more interesting (hah! never!).

Yeah, the pool website is acting a bit strange. If you look at your workers, you'll see your hashrate. But it doesn't show up in the dashboard.

Killed? When I bought in early October, it was $130. It then went up to 1280. It has now crashed to $455 and has gone back up to about $550 now.

If I tell any investor that I got 400% out of an investment in 2 months' time, they'd listen.

Some may view this as heresy, as it's a move back to meatspace, whereas coins were meant to be cyberspace only. The only other option is to enjoy the ride with an open mind. Remember: what goes up must come down again. So, even if BTC were to hit $2000 at one point, you can be certain it will dive below $1000 again after that and half the forum will claim ragnarok is near. Either we change what we are doing, or we have to live with instability and emotional outcries every so often.

If you want it to be the ultimate calculator, you should aim a bit higher than just using the input from other calculators. You're just taking over their errors. Look up the difficulty in the blockchain itself. There's plenty of sites that allow you to do that in simple HTTP. You have a lot of potential, so go ahead and aim high.
