I can partially confirm what PhDminer was talking about earlier with the low temperatures. I took a unit offline to do a firmware update and after letting it sit for a couple minutes I had a hell of a time restarting it. It is a good performing (39GH/s @ 1.1V) unit, but it kept on restarting while it was powering up as it never got time to warm up. I ended up getting it started by removing the fan blowing cold air on it (it's -29C outside right now) and letting it get started and warmed up. I'll have to look into it deeper in the next couple days why it's doing this.

My chilis in garage are not working if cold. Yesterday they stopped at 3 am and today same. I rebooted everything and LEDs are blinking well, but my raspberry pi doesn't recognize the devices. They may be gonna recovered Morning as the yesterday case. How are your chilis? Are they okay in -7 Celsius degree?
I found the reason. U25 temperature sensor doesn't work properly under low temperature. I covered it with a small tape and now all chilis are okay.

The black rubber looks like shadow. It is rubber sheet for insulation. The steel backplate is very thick and sturdy.

I put all these in my garage, and for the internet connection, installed a WiFi multi-bridge, which transparently connects the Raspberry Pi in the garage to the Verizon WiFi router in the living room. My garage is crazy cold these days so my chilis show about 38GHs at below 60 Celsius degree.

How to assemble: 1. black rubber pad, 2. 2mm steel backplate, 3. one more backplate provided by cooler master, 4. tightening only with bolt&nuts provided by cooler master

Yeah that was a good quick inexpensive find and perfect timing for me. On another note the prototype that Hands is making looks great I got a look at it earlier today and it seems like it should be a good alternative.
You might win the auction yesterday as I did. :-) I won three more and already have two so total 5 chilis from Monday. All of backplates, collers, and chilis will arrive Monday!!I just ordered the last 4.

Welcome!! The plate is really thick, almost 2mm. 2mm steel is enough strong to protect pcb from bending.

Is the price unit price or total price? For example, 2@1.0BTC means 2 chilis for 1 BTC or 2 BTC?
Hashrate in cgminer is well maintained for a long time, but hashrate in pool (btcguild) is keep decreasing and stabilized after <10% drop. Is this related to ZNX command? I saw that this happens also in jalapeno. Chili might be same. How can I overcome the problem? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=18313.msg2336171#msg2336171
My BTCGuild stats show my Chili hashrate 8 - 10% below what CGminer reports as well.
Does anyone see this with any of the other pools?
I recommend that you click the reset button in the btcguild dashboard. Reset recovers hashrate and shares in my case, which is very weird.
