You're boring. It's a development system and there's no password on the account. Didn't you read the development log?

I don't care about your site so, no, I didn't read the inane development log.

Seriously, if you think you're hot stuff go try to break into one of my production systems. Try hotwallet.ca -- there's several hundred BTC in the wallet there. Good luck with that, lol.

I didn't try to break into your site, I just noticed that none of the accounts needed a password to to log in. If the system isn't supposed to have a password on that account then why does it have a password now? You fucked up and now you are trying to cover it up by saying it was working as designed.

He is also misleading people about his programming abilities.

Apparently no effort has been put into security on his website, kongzi.ca ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=124391.0 ). All that is needed to login is know someone's username. I was able to login as usagi by just typing usagi into the email field and selecting sign in button. Don't trust him.

Re: Selling popular bitcoin game www.bitcoingem.com

Are you selling exclusive rights to the code, a license to use the code or the software copyright? Will there be any agreement that you can not resell your code to others or reuse it yourself? Will allow others with serous offers to audit your code prior to purchase? To be honest, the website very simple and the idea isn't unique.
- I'm selling exclusive rights to the code
- Yes, I will sign any non-compete clause
- I won't allow to inspect the code but I will make sure that everything is tidy and well commented

This sale is not only about the code but also about the traffic and the reputation of the website. After all, the site makes 15 BTCs / month.

50 BTC is a lot for:

Traffic
According to Google Analytics, traffic for last 30 days was as follows:
32,517 Pageviews
5,092 Visits
2,277 Unique Visitors

Any competent web developer should be able to match that in 2-3 months and reputations are built and lost very quickly in bitcoin right now. Good luck...

How will we spend the raised capital?
50BTC will be to buy the game. 55 BTC will be to exchange to FIAT currency immediately to cover for server costs, company registration, shareholder agreement draft and have some capital in case we need to buy FIAT services for the web site.

Have you even seen the code of the game? How can you ascertain that the code is worth 50BTC? Also, 55BTC seems like a lot for server costs, company registration, shareholder agreement draft and misc services for the web site. Seriously, unless you plan on subcontracting out the development of the site, 10-15BTC should be more than enough.

What's included
This is what the buyer will receive:
- The domain bitcoingem.com
- The website graphics
- The website code
- Twitter account
- Gmail account
- Transfer to your web host and initial setup
- 1 week of technical support after the transfer

Are you selling exclusive rights to the code, a license to use the code or the software copyright? Will there be any agreement that you can not resell your code to others or reuse it yourself? Will allow others with serous offers to audit your code prior to purchase? To be honest, the website very simple and the idea isn't unique.

Re: coinjedi / betsofbitco.in SCAMMERS: Declares "Push" on obvious win for BFL bet

The mods should stop this whole scammer tag nonsense. There no policy that can be used as a guideline and they currently do not give out the scammer tag consistently. The mods also have too many conflicts of interest. Having BFL/betsofbitco.in in good standing on this site brings in ad revenue and site hits (more ad revenue), why would they harm their golden goose? The mods should not be determining who is a scammer and who is not, they should only ban accounts that violate the forum's TOS.

This isn't bait and switch because there are no other products to up sale to the buyer. They are currently selling a product that doesn't exist, has never existed and probably will never exist. It is just plain fraud.

NOONE could look at that post and work out what assets BMF held - let alone what they were worth.  As it's out of date and incomplete.  All it needs is a spreadsheet with a column for the asset, a column for the quantity a column for any value realised and a column for any value distributed.  You certainly used to know how to make spreadsheets like that - and you don't even have to make up values for things you haven't sold this time.

Usagi knows that if he posts the actual numbers that he will be called out of being a fraud again. As long as he keeps everything secret then he can maintain the delusion that he is a high paid Wall Street broker.

My guess is they had to keep making shipping promises they knew they couldn't keep so they could keep getting "preorder" money so they would have cash to fulfill the return requests. Even if they get an ASIC to work, I would be shocked if they have enough capital to fulfill all of the current orders.

He stole $80k.

I don't expect anything, but maybe Avalon could change the shipping address of the ASICs in his name.

There is no way that Avalon will get involved. They have a contract with Ian, if Avalon fails to deliver on their contract then they could be sued by Ian.

Robin Bouwhuis is a dude, he definitely not Ian's girlfriend.

Come on yes go after him but posting his girlfriends link?Huh

I think that is uncalled for.

I don't condone doxing others, but he owes close to $80,000. If someone owed me that kind of money and wouldn't return my calls then I would call up all of their friends and associates to try and get a hold of them.

Re: [To Theymos and Mods] An honest concern (all trolling aside)

Is there a written statement that explains what the criteria is for being given the scammer tag? BFL was clearly lying in September/October when they were telling the community shipping dates and they didn't even have a finalized design, let alone a working prototype. I believe BFL should get a scammer tag because they took peoples money while they lied about  shipping dates they knew they had no chance of meeting. If/when they actually ship an ASIC product then they can have the scammer tag removed.

Since nobody knows when/if BFL is going to ship and nobody knows how many "preorders" there are, buying into BFL now is crazy. If you bought it last year it might be worth the risk to see if they ship. However, if you buy today and you eventually receive a working unit the network difficulty might be so high you never see a return on your investment.

I don't think there is any proof that BFL is a scam, however there is no proof that BFL will deliver on any of their promises. Holding on to your BTC is a better investment.

Re: Red Flag Alert -- Where is Ian Bakewell?

According to his payout schedule at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=146689.0 he only owes ~BTC86 or ~$8,000. If the price of bitcoin crashes in the next few weeks then he could still be OK and come out of this ahead. If the price of bitcoin continues to rise or stabilizes at $90 then we will never see or hear from Ian again.

The best part? He brags about being short in his signature.
