Has anybody ever purchased a miner directly from bitmain? I noticed that they (as well as most/all other miner vendors/resellers) all seem to only accept payment in crypto or in one case a wire transfer. How can I be sure that they actually send me the hardware after I pay? And what about issues with import complications?

Bitmain has the largest market share so yes you're going to receive your miner. I've ordered with them before. They will charge a premium on whatever miner you want to buy and charge the full import cost. You're better off going with a third party re-seller since they're more likely to give you a better price.

All vendors accept crypto because it's the easiest to use for large purchases, less friction with banks, less oversight, quicker simpler purchases for everyone involved.

Hey @pooler,

Love the pool and about to launch my 5th L7, and looking to get an L9 started as well.

The reason I've stayed with Litecoinpool the longest and want to continue supporting the pools hash rate compared to your competitors is strictly because of the data and the gui you've provided, it's engaging to feel like you're competing for positions on a leaderboard.

I love seeing total amounts of hash rate contributed over the lifetime of a machine and seeing all the blocks my specific miners have found.

On that note it would be super cool to see the amount of Doge blocks our miners have found to appear on another cell in the layout. Not sure how much work it would be but I celebrate every time I find an LTC block. Could be cool to see it for Doge as well, I'm sure we would see them pop up more frequently.

The second point I wanted to bring up is some mining re-salers are offering commission based incentives. If you buy a miner with them, and use one of their affiliated pools, you get credit with them overtime. Could be a good incentive to get more miners on board.

Cheers,

Keep up the good work!

Petition to add BELLS Coin to our merged mining.

Large pools have already added merged mining for BELLS and will lead to eventual market loss of miners swapping to other pools.

https://miningpoolstats.stream/litecoin

For perspective 4 L7s (38gh/s) will product about $5.00 USD per day at current prices ($150 USD/ month)

(38gh/s used for the f2pool calculation)

https://www.f2pool.com/coin/bells

If we apply the entire pools collective hashrate (60,000 gh/s) we're losing out on a potential of $8000 USD collectively/ day. ($240,000 USD/ month)

I love LTC pools GUI and would love to have BELLS coin added to help us stay competitive the the evolving Scrypt space.

Cheers  Grin

Wanted to reach out and thank you for running this pool for so long.
Currently reading through this historical thread and seeing the amounts of LTC paid out daily back in 2011 with only CPU mining is astonishing.

In our current year of 2024, I am currently with 3 L7s, the average price of an L7 is roughly 6k-7k USD (Retail/Market price, you can find cheaper deals privately)

Each L7 produces 9300 mh/s resulting in 0.0322 LTC/day and 115 Doge coin.

Can't wait to see what the future tech holds and how much LTC/Doge will be mined per day with new ASICS.
