Still only listed on OkEX and Coinegg, and despite that... price is moving steadily upward! Jump on this fast. Mcap is just over 100 million. IOTA is at 8 billy! If they experience even a slight fraction of IOTA success, this has a lot of potential. Mainnet coming in a week! Marketing efforts begin centered around its launch.

Ethos is my favorite project in crypto. Ive never seen a Telegram where the devs are so active and transparent about their plans and intentions, and I follow over 50 coins. The ambition of this project is respectable... the Universal Wallet app is right around the corner... most likely February. With FULL fiat gateway coming in Q2 2018. This will seriously challenge Coinbase dominance in the US. Here are just some of the items Ethos has in store:
1. Mobile App and Universall Wallet for top 100 mcap coins (coming Q1)
2. Fiat gateway with checking account
3. Credit /debit card tied to your crypto
4. Trade crypto to crypto without BTC: Atomic Swaps!
5. Trade traditional assets with crypto, a bridge to both worlds
6. Predictions features (predict crypto movement and earn $$)

8. Auto-rebalance and managed portfolio by pro advisors

My prediction is $20 after Wallet release, $50 after fiat gateway in Q2, and $100 by year end. With serious adoption, and the above roadmap delivered, price could move well into 3 digits.

Too far if we predict what happens in the next 5 years, but I am sure monero will continue to rise and will be included in the top 10 alt in cmc this year. I am sure in Q3 - Q4 this year, monero will reach $ 500 - $ 600. We'll see later and let the market answer it.

I'd probably reduce the list from 15 to 10
I'd sell off Sumo (it doesn't offer anything new over Monero), and replace it with SpectreCoin, a PoS privacy coin with 5% annual staking rewards, with Tor + obfuscation (works in Tor blocked countries), ring signatures (untraceable transactions), and a roadmap to update the wallet to 1.3.5 over the next few days, followed by mobile wallet, default stealth addresses and stealth staking (crypto first) by Q2 2018.
I'd probably also sell of Oysterl Pearl, as it has increased by multiples very recently, and Opus (I'm not convinced by what they're trying to do)

I second this advice into reducing the holdings... a bit too many coins for my taste. Hard to have them all in the green at the same time. I also agree on SpectreCoin (XSPEC) as an undervalued privacy currency vs Sumo. I like you have a good percentage of Elixir!
How again is Bitconnect a scam? I'm waiting to see the logic all of you can put together and actually make sense. So far, none of you have money invested, none of you have any real data to back up why you think it's a scam, and everything any of you have claimed so far is 100% untrue or mere speculation based on emotional content.

Agreed. Elixir is a solid project with some advantages over SALT, especially with smaller transactions. If Elixir even captures a fraction of SALT type success it will explode so much higher than it's current mcap. 10x potential in 2018.

Monero & Xspec are the top coins for PRIVACY, as they both have Stealth Addresses and Ring Signatures. Monero however has ALREADY MOONED! Trading today around $400 per coin with a $6 Billion mcap. Xspec has the same tech that makes Monero great, with some serious additional advantages in its TOR + OBSF4 integration, and is sitting at an mcap of $79 million. It's pretty clear which coin has the higher 100x potential. Also, since Xspec is POS, you can earn 5% annually by staking it in your wallet. Free money!

The CEO is young and very inexperienced. That matters. "globally recognized" is just trigger words that don't mean shit and are not verified. I don't necessarily have a hidden agenda behind my post, just sharing negatives I found during my research...I feel that the project is way over hyped and it's unfair to the common investor who maybe just following hype.
Think of Shingo as the young Mark Zuckerberg type with a genius idea and vision. Shingo was smart enough to bring in some extremely heavy hitters to the team, including Stephen Corliss.

Take a look at Stephens resume. Former VP of Bank of America, Chief Operating Officer at Blackrock Financial, Director at UBS, etc. This project is light years ahead of Bread in the back end legal and regulatory hurdles that need to be crossed to make a fiat gateway a reality. All Bread has is a Wallet. Ethos will have theirs out in a month. Once this project is fully realized it will be a bridge between traditional investments and crypto investments, all in one place, and simplified so the masses can utilize it.

You seem a bit salty that you are missing the train. But theres still hope for you. The mcap on Xspec is ridiculously low compared to all other privacy coins, and none have its collection of features (TOR OBSF4, ring signatures, stealth addresses, POS). With the tech alone and its low mcap... still a ton of upside here.
Why would even coins like xmr and sumo need Tor? When transactions are hidden by default? As I understand Tor integration isn't that hard and I see coins like sumokoin just have it as a curiousity for people that want to test out the few lines of code. As I see it's more a marketing trick to associate themselves with a known privacy enterprise and thus look more secure, since it's all the rage these days. Xvg took it to another level though renaming it wraith protocol, or am I wrong?

Exactly! It will hide your IP address. Which seems pretty fundamental if you are looking for a TRUE privacy coin. Silk Road type dark web markets should LOVE this coin! Also, by incorporating OBFS4, it allows users in TOR blocked countries like China, Iran & Saudi Arabia the ability to circumvent their country's censorship and utilize Spectre coin. OBFS4 basically hides TOR traffic and makes it appear as normal internet traffic.

That is just weird! They have abandoned the name BQX for Ethos. And now they proudly ship...BQX physical token.
I really wanted to support this project, but I agree they have done weird things. Why confuse things with this weird physical coin? Why is their name Ethos when one of the top Ethereum mining software is already called EthOS? Why is the price on binance being manipulated by bots? These are some very basic things I wish the devs would address.
How is this weird or confusing? They made a commemorative physical "Thank You" token for the top 100 ICO investors. They were made before the rebranding, and reflect the commitment to the beginning of the project, which was Bitquence. Rebrands happen all the time and are generally extremely successful. Look at Antshares to Neo. BQX to Ethos is no exception... the price was @ $1.39 the day of the rebrand a month ago and has since hit an ATH of over $3. The devs stated the rebranding better fit with the ideals of the project going forward... ie... the new Ethos is to "make crypto easily accessible to all". The Universal Wallet and fiat gateway will be a real competitor (and upgrade) to Coinbase, making it "1 click" easy for Grandpa Joe to diversify an Alt-coin portfolio right from his phone. With the Universal Wallet set to release in February, this coin should explode.
Regarding the devs addressing concerns... come to the Ethos Telegram. I'm a member of over 30 coin Telegrams, and I can honestly say... the Ethos Telegram is one of the best I've ever seen. The devs, Shingo & Stephen Corliss are extremely active and transparent in answering every question and concern. It inspires a lot of confidence with the depth of their knowledge and insightful answers.
