I hope you are doing well?
According to some statistics, the total mobile subscriptions in 2020 will actually number 9.2 billion, or so. It is also estimated that 70% of the population, by that date, will be using a smartphone.
Additionally, you can use the application via the web interface which let you do quite a lot, such as creating posts or using the marketplace.
Regarding your question, largely that is correct. The initial idea was to avoid transactions that are less than 1 RALLY.
