Re: [ICO]~Extended~ ReMoneta [RET] 100k USD avail. Hard cap of 5m reached in >4hrs

Glad to see another sale opening up, just as the community was asking. But 100 000 USD seems a bit small to me. Last time hard cap was reached in the same number of hours.

I hope more and more people will understand how ReMoneta is totally different from all other cryptos and aiming to benefit all of its members. Zero transaction costs, no loss in value etc.

Micropayments - instant transfers with ReMoneta?
by
Philip Ruby
on 10/07/2018, 09:47:25 UTC
I have been following ReMoneta for a little while now and they seem to be an interesting new ICO coming up. Is there a person on this forum who can explain the technology behind this instant tranfer. In other cryptos that I know, transfers take a long time.

Why has it not been possible so far and is it technically possible to provide instant micropayments? I do not know much about IT, but I am trying to get really into the bottom of this project and maybe someone can provide an explanation for dummies Smiley

Re: What do you think of this new ICO

I have been following them on Telegram and read the whitepaper. For me, this is an interesting project especially when no other crypto provides as good stability as they do. They back the value with land as tther backs it with the dollar. Land is just more stable in price over a longer period of time.

Re: New alt coin says it can beat Bitcoin.

While I agree that anyone can say anything and many of these claims are just a hoax, then there is a fair possibility, that someone takes the cryptocurrency to a new level, makes an innovative project, improves the technical solutions etc. If there will bee project, which think out of the box and provide an answer to the issues of the crypto market today, then yes, they will eventually beat Bitcoin too. Bitcoin has a name and credibility, but if there is a truly great idea, then why would it not succeed?

I see yes, that mining as well is a big question because you do need a lot of computer power etc. Thanks for the answers guys. I will also investigate this nano, seems interesting too.

Re: I lost half of my crypto amount! what to do?

Volatility is a big issue in crypto so far, but actually, there are new ICOs coming, where the price would be stable because they are backed up with real-world values (not fiat currencies). So this high risk could be solved one day. Of course, they do not provide huge and rapid growth in a short period of time, but we will how they do when they launch.

Re: Are zero transaction costs possible?

I really think that hardly can not happen transaction fees are rewards for miners, They call it the miner fee and it is absolutely needed until the last block of bitcoin has mined, However, transactions still need to be validated and stored on blocks in the blockchain so miners will only benefit from transaction fees and This could essentially be the lifeblood of miners in the next century, once there are no more BTC tokens to be unlocked. This is laid out in Satoshi Nakamoto’s Bitcoin whitepaper, But if you really want a fee free transaction there are wallets that are not issuing fees if the transaction was made with the same wallet transfer but you will need to encourage everyone you know to only use the same wallet you are using.

Yes, that's true.

So basically the question has two layers I guess. First is for example fee of Bitcoin transaction and the second one is all the technology related to a wallet. And yes, I understand totally that there are real costs in this world and the money must come from somewhere. But there are some cases where you move your tokens and end up paying an enormous amount of money. That's why I raised the question too.

Are zero transaction costs possible?
by
Philip Ruby

What do you think, is it possible to have zero transaction costs for bitcoin/altcoin. At the moment there are many fees and are they justified and impossible to get around or is it possible to reduce or even remove them in the future?

There are some new and interesting ideas like immediate transaction, zero transaction costs and currencies backed up by land to give it stability. If these ideas will be implemented as planned, that could be a real change.

Re: New coin are scam nowadays

It was a good tip that you should also visit Telegram discussions and ask all the questions you have in mind. But as there are scammers, there are also professional scammers, who have it all written down very well and they are experts in answering every question you could ever have. For this reason, it is very important to also search their background and try to find out, what kind of history they have. If they say they have experience of some field, even then you should find out what kind of players they have been - successful or just some puppets.

Re: Is it better to have many altcoins or it is enough to have few?
by

Having many different coins itself does not bring you any profit. You need to make sure that you invest in a good project and if there are many of them, then yes, it will lower the risk. If you think you have made very smart choices, there is a good chance that many good choices will bring you more profit. But this does not mean that you can skip reading whitepapers, investigating who are the team members and asking critical questions form leaders of the project.

Activating MEW account
by
Philip Ruby
on 05/07/2018, 13:13:43 UTC
I was just about to open a MEW wallet. I entered my e-mail and details, several times checked if I wrote my e-mail address correctly, but I never received the confirmation e-mail with account activation link. Has anyone else had the same problem?

Re: Why the current crypto currency market is worse than the Rothschild central bank
by
Philip Ruby
on 05/07/2018, 13:03:52 UTC
At least in the crypto world, we still have a possibility to make things transparent and to serve the consumer. Crypto world is more driven by the community and the community's belief in it. When things start to resemble the old status quo, there is instantly a market space for a new, more transparent, more honest, stable and innovative project, which will answer the key issues of the time. For me, this is still more driven by the grass root level than the high-level decision makers. It is not perfect, there are many issues related to possible scams etc, but this is the possibility for mankind to break free from old corporate status quo and make the commercial world more consumer friendly.

Re: Does crypto bring more risk than benefit?
by
Philip Ruby
on 05/07/2018, 12:49:45 UTC
I read a study a little time ago I cannot recall it exactly at the moment. But the content was following: if you invested 1 dollar into every cryptocurrency ever made, including the ones that were scam from the beginning, then today you would still end up in profit, because the ones that failed or were a scam, are still balanced out with the benefit and profit successful coins have produced. So the lesson is to make smart choices and make sure you invest your money as wisely as possible. So there are risks, but you can minimize them when investigating the project you are about to invest in - there are some very good ones.

Re: This market is unhealthy!

The market at the moment is not ideal. But personally, I think that with a good project you can still earn a profit regardless of the market situation. A bigger trend is downwards yes, but if there will be a new, innovative and stable project, it is still worth investing in and it will rocket mo matter the of the whole crypto market.

Re: Many projects are dead?
by
Philip Ruby
on 05/07/2018, 10:16:14 UTC
Because they lack team management and most of the project are scam no vision

This is why it is essential to do your homework, read the white paper, investigate the background of the team 8not only on the project web site), but Google these people individually and see if they are competent or not. We can do a lot to avoid scams. Any investment comes with a risk, but there are many things we can do to lower it.

Re: Are. You leaving crypto?
by
Philip Ruby
on 05/07/2018, 10:07:45 UTC
I am not leaving crypto because there have been some unsuccessful stories or that prices have not acted the way one could dream about. I am looking for good and solid projects, the ones which I klick in every level. If they are promoting the same values as I do, they have a good team and background, good project, professional execution, I will invest. You just need to get there early, not after it has already become widespread.
