I completely believe in bitcoin and what it has done and what it still has left to do for the world.
Hopefully it can help it and not burden it any further in the economic turmoil that it is currently facing in European nations.

Re: Suggest me a movie

Batman vs Superman was actually a really good one. Forget what the critics say about it, it's actually really enjoyable. And if your into like those Sci-Fi movies that have to do with artificial intelligence, I would recommend watching Ex Machina.

No offence, but I hated Batman v Superman, for me it seemed like just another generic superhero movie cashing in on the current trend.

However Ex Machina was amazing IMO, good shout on that one. It really makes you think about the philosophical implications of AI, and is very well directed with some tense moments and interesting cinematography. Interesting that you would recommend such different movies!

Some of my recommendations would be:

"Oldboy" (Original Korean version)
"Tokyo Gore Police" (Totally OTT Japanese action horror, not for the faint-hearted)
"Birdman" (Satirical take on the superhero genre, incredible acting and cinematography, quite arty and not a superhero movie)
"Akira" (Classic anime film, amazing soundtrack and crazy storyline)
"What we do in The Shadows" (Hilarious mockumentary film about a group of vampires living in New Zealand)

Also check out my "Arthouse/cult/classic movie thread" for some strange and wonderful movies, feel free to discuss or add your own recommendations!
I do like grindhouse old style movies.
And I agree about BVS. I only liked WW in there. She will have her own movie so will be watching out for that when it comes out.

People have been saying it is a global currency so it should not differ from country too country just in how you exchange it to your local currency if you choose to do that instead of keeping it.
If you do then it does not change in the slightest. Smiley

Re: WHAT CAN I DO WITH 0.1 BTC ??
by

on 06/09/2016, 23:38:47 UTC
You can exchange it for an alternate coin and keep watching it's progress if you picked a good one.
Then cashout it into bitcoin and repeat again with a different one.
You can eventually make more than the 0.1btc that you started with if you know how the alt coin trading game works. Wink

Which country is this going to be operating in?
Their might be laws that you have to follow so you don't run into troubles with the financial people in that particular country.

Re: TV Series Recommendations...

Bojack Horseman ... most underrated show on netflix.

One has to get over the fact it's animated, and about talking animals... and the first couple
of episodes aren't the greatest. It lures you into thinking it's a generic cartoon (ie Family Guy).

A lot of dark comedy that eventually sort of skips the comedy, and just turns really dark. It's really
a show about depression.
I want to see all the seasons of The Walking Dead. But all at once. And without advertising.
Check out Fear the walking dead because it is starting to get interesting now. Wink

Sort of reminds me of Dead Island now. Grin

I do not like paypal at all and just started using payza.
But I find that they ask as much information than paypal does so maybe there is no difference with them at all except the name. Angry

Save as much as you can then when the time is right... BUY as much bitcoin as you can while waiting for the increase to happen.
Isn't that the most sensible thing to do that most with any common sense does? Wink

Re: Any other 15 year olds here?

The biggest power that 15 years old have is time.

You kids can be rich beyond your wildest dreams, quite literally, if you start investing early.

It may seem like a lot, but invest $100 a month into a high performance investment, and you will have millions of dollars when you retire.

I got $3k usd in Bitcoin today, do you have any ideas? I'm considering using social media or pay per install with Facebook ads to make some more money but you seem like you know what you're talking about

How did you make those 3k$? Shocked I am still a newbie at this forum and generally at all the bitcoin stuff, but it seems very interesting  Tongue Anyone can share their ideas how you could make bitcoins Smiley
He stole it from his parents by charging their credit card. Now it is maxxed out I bet so he comes crying about his loss on the forums. Cry

Age does not really matter but knowing what is right and wrong is at that age.
Don't fall for tricks from these older people they take you are experienced in life and thus will take advantage of you for that.

Re: Will this boost Bitcoin?
by
Piladeer
on 04/09/2016, 21:12:21 UTC
I don't believe that Gambling helps Bitcoin in anyway , If someone joins the bitcoin community just for gambling then sooner or later he will lose everything and probably leave the community.
People should see Bitcoin from another perspective and not only as a gambling or a Darknet tool.
Gambling is what has made bitcoin popular and there is no denying that because if you look at the statistics there are more bitcoin users using it for gambling then there are for the ones who are using it to purchase goods.
If you think about it about 50% of bitcoin use is in the gambling sector. Lips sealed
It's not surprising and it shouldn't be a surprise to most people that Bitcoin is used a lot in gambling, especially when you consider that it is relatively untraceable if you take the right steps and there isn't any income to be taxed on from gambling winnings. Bitcoin also deposits/withdraws far easier than most fiat casinos, so that's a big thing for some companies as well.
Well this is what makes it so attractive to gamblers it being untraceable ...
well relatively speaking.
