What is unprofessional about their website? It's clean and displays relevant information regarding the project. BLUE has not been rejected by KuCoin or Poloniex, I have no idea where you got that from. BLUE has done a great service to the crypto community, and their security technology is way above what anyone else is currently doing.

Had an issue with ShapeShift once. Attempted to exchange BTC to XRP, they received my Bitcoin but never sent XRP. After 3 days of waiting, they replied to my ticket and said my funds had been located and refunded by Bitcoin.

I'd recommend checking out some altcoins, do a little research and find ones that you believe to be promising. Investing early into promising altcoins can see the best returns for small investments. Altcoin investments are far riskier than investing in Bitcoin.

I believe you have to look at the development team. I'm not interested in too many personal details, what I'm more interested in is their capabilities, what they have produced and what they plan to produce. An example of this is ELTCOIN, most of the developers are not very public as of yet. ELTCOIN does have solid products (iOS and Android wallet). The company which developed ELTCOIN have developed two other companies which will make use of ELTCOIN. All of their software is open-sourced on Github, which is a massive bonus.

Join a coins Telegram and talk to the developers, question them on what you want to know, test their knowledge on crypto and what they've said they're going to do.

If you're going to invest a lot into a coin you need to do your research, find out everything you want to know. Don't just invest in a coin because you see the price rising or because someone else told you to.

Once a point comes in which you're able to use a debit card-like system for crypto transactions, like what Bitcoin Cash and ELTCOIN are trying to do, then I believe we will begin to see a mass adoption of crypto. Another problem is that many people still dislike using online banking systems, so attempting to get these people to adopt a purely digital currency will be difficult.
