(Bug Report) Reporting spam or misplaced posts
by

Hello, I recently noticed "newbie" members are not able to report spam or misplaced posts if they recently made any post of their own. The forum software gives the error message about time required between posts. The attempt to contact a mod should not be considered a new post, thank you.

Re: Coinbase Removes USDT for EU Users Over MiCA Rules
by

This is great news to raise attention to the extreme risk of the unaudited scam, USDT. Why does anyone still prefer to use that dangerous pile of junk?

Coinbase has announced the delisting of USDT and several other stablecoins for EU users to comply with MiCA regulations.

https://talkimg.com/images/2024/12/12/ppEsJ.jpeg

Though Support for USDC and EURC are unaffected.
I think this could help coinbase gain some market share in that their own stable coin USDC will gain more traction and thereby increase revenue.

It can also make clients who use their crypto space move out thereby causing them losses,
Because most people prefer to use USDT.

Hello everyone!

I was introduced to this forum through one of my friends. I have heard that there are plenty of free opportunities for learning and earning by making appropriate use of this forum without any investment.
What should I remember as a newcomer and where should I begin?

I was fortunate to have someone suggest starting much closer to the beginning:

Take time to view some of the really old threads (2010- Early 2011) you will quickly learn the level of greed, spam and crime was almost zero, since Bitcoin had very little usd value. Then also use the other advice and read up on many current topics. Welcome to the forum!

"Replay link crashing somewhere at 24000 and looping..."

Welcome to the forum. Please have the OP reveal (with text) what happened without people needing to click on any outside links - those are fine for people who want to click. Are you saying their site crashed at the moment something was supposed to pay out big?

"You ask yourself why don't they stop all these bs and just go back to real trading and you will immediately answer yourself that trading is hard work...."

Actually trading can be really easy - not hard work at all - if you have a large bankroll and aim for many short-term profits with little concern about which direction the market is actually going next. How? Figure it out newbie...  Cheesy

Many are teachers only few are traders. They make their money from selling trading courses, teaching trading classes, creating trading contents for YouTube and other social media. They have their own trading podcasts and collaborate with people like them to talk about trading yet, they have never been successful at trading.

You'll see them on Instagram or WhatsApp posting many signals, doing adverts for their VIP exclusive signal groups. Their appearance of wealth has nothing to do with their profits from trading and trading performance but from their courses sold and YouTube ads.

You ask yourself why don't they stop all these bs and just go back to real trading and you will immediately answer yourself that trading is hard work. It is easier to make reliable income streams from acting like a trader than actually in active trading where the market is volatile. It is easier to build a personal brand and audience in the short term than it is for achieving trading profits.

I do not like these people because, to me they are scammers. I have never seen anyone who follow them that eventually became a successful trader.

Sometimes a legit trader will teach a bright student, and even help them with trading funds in exchange for a % of the profits. A deal that good is normally only for members of my family.  Smiley

Re: Why do you believe soup is good for your health?

Caldo de Res, Mexican Beef Soup

Soup is at the top of the food list for many of us, but many of us do not know how healthy or dangerous it is for us. In many cases, it is very tasty and very beneficial for health and there are some people who are physically ill. For them, soup may be an uncomfortable subject for many people for this reason. They refrain from eating soup because they think it is too dangerous for their health. But I think there are many types of soup that are beneficial for many people's health.

The picture looks very tasty! IMO, soup is only healthy if it contains little or no salt, and a big amount of veggies with not too much meat. Many people like excess salt, so they eventually pay the price with health issues. Thank you for the topic.

Re: Is Satoshi Nakamoto Alive ?!
by

on 03/03/2024, 18:26:23 UTC
Okay, now I am overwhelmed by the number of posts which are being posted on this forum related to Satoshi Nakamoto. I could clearly understand why the OG members do not reply or respond to these threads as they are already done explaining similar stuff again and again. OP, doesn't matter if Satoshi is even alive or not. That clearly doesn't impact your life. What he/they built for all of us is what matters i.e. Bitcoin.

I agree with the quote below, it does matter an enormous amount if Satoshi starts to sell, and hopefully the effects will not last too long.

There will be a temporary massive panic in the BTC market if/when Satoshi starts to sell his huge pile of virgin coins. This will present a great opportunity for people with the guts to go against the crowd. The damage could be more severe and long-lasting if it combined with bad news related to the on-going post-FTX drama, and more countries "banning BTC", etc. Our bear markets get pretty predictable after a while, but the FTX hangover is real and not over with yet.

ps. When the market is hot and Bullish it is easy to say "to the moon!", remember to sell some, "hodling" 100% is for brainless idiots IMO.

I found the first two post to both be thought provoking, thank you. I was raised very religious with church & church school every Sunday. In my teens, I found Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged to be an amazing experience. Over the years, I've come to respect Rand's politics and in depth understanding of people and history more than her hostility towards religion. The idea of going somewhere wonderful after death has a strong appeal, especially as we get older, but I can't put too much faith in the concept, yet.

Hi all, here is a two part question:

Do you believe in Heaven?
and,
Do you expect to go to Heaven, when finished here on Earth?

Optionally, please feel free to discuss why you believe and what you think it will be like, i.e. Will your favorite pets and friends be there and easy to find? How will you find them, will we have "Apps" for that?  Smiley

Please maintain a nice talk, and do not have the same two or three people debating religion, thank you.
