I am seeking to import txs from the (Coinlist) Exchange API or CSV.

I don't see it.  When Coinlist Exchange API and CSV support?

Also i am seeking FILCOIN wallet address import support.

Gemini, Coinbase, Kraken, AND Coinlist all offer FILECOIN staking.

FIL is the top decentralised storage blockchain network.

When support for FIL? It was a top 20 coin

Please reply to the ticket your raised so that we can check the status there.
It is always possible to add transactions in the meantime manually if an API does not bring them in for whatever reason acknowledging it takes some effort here.

I have had an ongoing support ticket for three months already!  First I was being reassured that the fix was being worked on.  Then I had huge apologies from support.  Again I was reassured the issue would be fixed.  Then two updates and it is still not fixed.  And unfortunately, I have neither the time, ability, nor interest for cointracking or my accountant to poke into my portfolio to manually add the translactions.  This is not a fix.  In fact if I had taken this advice months ago, I would have be required to pay someone for three months of transaction imports.  The whole idea of the platform is for automated blockchain accounting.  How hard is it to make sure that bug is fixed when the customer has indicated the technical problem with precision from the Exchange itself, repeatedly reminded you and the support staff via the ticket, and given you THREE MONTHS to simply add the Admin Debit field to the API?  There is no excuse except incompetence or malevolence.

PLEASE FIX THE BROKEN API AND PUSH IT INTO PRODUCTION.

Thank you!

@clmns
We add this to our road map. We focus on Top20 chains first.

If they offer CSV export just sent us an example to check if it is usable/importable.

Nine API updates and not one was the Gemini fix. Sir, how can you say my issue has a high priority and that your team is working on it but it's been three months since Gemini clearly explained that Admin Debit was added to their API and CT still needs to fix this?  Your software has not given me a correct balance in three months, and my estimated tax reports to the IRS will be wrong due to CT's failure to update.  Please kindly fix this issue and push it to production as quickly as possible!

MATIC - almost done and will be released soon.

It's been three months since I laid out my API problem for you directly from Gemini.  Will the API fix for the Gemini issue be released at the same time Polygon support is released?
What is the expected date for the next Cointracking platform update?

Thanks

Had you done some research on my posts about this topic you would come to my conclusion.

Hi I'm sure it's trivial to make the fix now.  Will you please push the update today?  The announcement of the fix can be later.  Thanks in advance.

How do you know that it's trivial? Do you have access to their source code or know about their internal workflows?
Even if it were a trivial change, they probably have some other changes that all need to be tested before they push to prod in order to ensure nothing get's f*cked up.
These things take time, be patient. A rushed push to prod is going to be much worse.

Hi, I had provided you with multiple messages with specific guidance FROM GEMINI to fix their API import over two months ago.

Then you drop this major update and the problem still isn't fixed.  You apparently only added "AdminCredit" but NOT "AdminDebit".

I have since filed a support ticket.  Here is the error message again (new Gemini API was created and old one deleted):

(Error: Unsupported trade type: {"type":"AdminDebit","status":"Complete","timestampms":1612994178257,"eid":22593668290,"currency":"EUR",)

PLEASE kindly follow Gemini's guidance and add "AdminDebit" as soon as possible.

Andreas, you previously wrote that you are working on a solution for this - it's been nearly one month and the Gemini API is still broken.

I am receiving the following error in Cointracking with automatic API inport for Gemini Exchange:

 (Error: Unsupported trade type: {"type":"AdminDebit","status":"Complete","timestampms":1612994178257,"eid":22593668290,"currency":"EUR",)

to be clear - I already deleted the failing API and created a new one, but the same error occurs.

I SPOKE WITH GEMINI: THEY SAID THE FOLLOWING:
"We now support Admin Credits and Admin Debits in our transfers endpoint but CoinTracking may not have added support for it."
THIS IS WHY MY GEMINI API KEY DOESN'T WORK WITH COINTRACKING!
please add support for it.

Thank you for your previous reply. My Gemini API has been broken for almost one month.  When will the fix be released?

@Plenty
We are working on it. Thank you for your patience. For now add those transactions manually.

@asdsvsdf
Sounds feasible how to add it. We recommend to consult a CPA here.

If you sell some NFT (as we assume NFTs are crypto currencies) and get another currency for it it is a normal trade. The asset value for the NFT is the asset value of the crypto currency you get.

We suggest to use trade/groups and comments for NFT name details and use abbreviations for the tickers.

You just need to add a current price and add the transaction manually if they are not imported via ETH/BSC API. See https://cointracking.freshdesk.com/a/solutions/articles/29000007203-entering-ico-coins-and-non-listed-assets/en

Last month, there was some change which corrected staking activity imported into CT from Kraken.  Now I see the change has reverted to incorrectly accounting for all of the transactions again.
There should be three transactions for users who are receiving staking rewards: 1) deposit 2) withdrawal 3) staking.  There is only "staking" now.  Is this on your end?

@greentea: Please check your "missing transaction report" page (https://cointracking.info/missing_transactions.php) and correct your transactions as described on the page and here: White entries (no match) in Missing Transactions Report (https://cointracking.freshdesk.com/en/support/solutions/articles/29000033710-white-entries-no-match-in-missing-transactions-report). After correcting those the reports will be fine.

@Plenty: this is the case as the "staked coins" leave your account (withdrawal) and they come back later after unstake/unfreeze as a deposit. The "rewards" come in as "staking" transaction which is an income transaction. If you want to monitor your coins during the "freeze" time you can add a counterpart transaction manually at "Kraken Staking" or delete the withdrawals and add a start date at your API job to prevent the re-import of those transactions.

If you did not sell them there are part of your "unsold positions".
And once they are coming in as "staking" (=income transaction type) they are listed on the Income report as part of your tax report.

To check your account individually please reach out to us via our Ticket tool within your account or sending an E-Mail to support@cointracking.info and add your account username there. Thank you.

I have a similar issue - I staked DOTs on Kraken (DOT2).  CT imports a "withdrawal" transaction and then staking "deposit" transaction for the staking rewards but CT doesn't append my coin balance.

Other than the obvious balance reporting issue which CT should fix, I have three questions: 1) Why is a "withdrawal" imported? 2) Why is a staking "deposit" imported? 3) Isn't there a better way to have this entered into CT?

Hi,

Last year CT picked up an ETH transaction for an obscure token on Uniswap V1.

Yesterday, I claimed my 400 $UNI (Uniswap) airdropped governance tokens through the Uniswap web3 site.
I confirmed on Etherescan that my tokens were sent to my address, but CT does not show the airdrop.
Can you explain this?

Also,

1) There is already a token called "Universe" using the $UNI coin/token nomenclature.  Is this causing a conflict for CT not picking up the UNISWAP "UNI" token transaction?
2) Regarding your post about importing DEXs - can you provide a list of all of the current DEXs you support?  Why is this not just in the drop-down menu for "Enter Coins", "Exchange API's", and then the DEX is added  It would seem that your current method to add DEXs would cause me to delete 1000's of non-DEX trades.  Even with a backup....re-adding them would destroy a whole lot of "comments" section notes that I have painstakingly already entered for the associated DEX-ETH addresses used for non-DEX transactions.

@theratears.

We do support import of all of your DEX trades when you use our ETH Wallet API (https://cointracking.info/import/eth_address/).

See my post from September 6th here as well regarding "ETH Wallet Import Updates".

You have to delete all ETH transactions first and and re-import them again enabling the DEX trade slider within your ETH Wallet API Job.

See this FAQs for reference here:
"Bulk Edit/Delete - Instructions" (https://cointracking.freshdesk.com/a/solutions/articles/29000032637?lang=en)
"Create and delete API Import Job" (https://cointracking.freshdesk.com/a/solutions/articles/29000031154?lang=en)
Please create backup of your data beforehand and regularly as described here: "Create backup, restore or export your account data" (https://cointracking.freshdesk.com/a/solutions/articles/29000031008-create-backup-restore-or-export-your-account-data/en)

If it does not work afterwards please reach out to us via our Ticket tool within your account or sending an E-Mail to support@cointracking.info and add your account username there. Thank you.

I would like to renew my 2 year unlimited subscription by paying with crypto, but your subscription payment option, coinpayments.net has not been working for at least the past two weeks.  I need an option to pay with ETH.  Please quickly fix your payments option.

Hi,

I have been using CT extensively for the past two years.  I have a powerful feature request for the tool:

Please add switches to filter OUT variables...

e.g. I want to make an for all purchases in "ETH" but NOT sales in "BTC".

So I enter "ETH" in the buy currencies field.

But presently, if I then enter "BTC" in the sell currencies field -  CT only returns results of purchases in "ETH" AND sales in "BTC".

There needs to be a switch below "Smart' and RegEx" called "Exclude". Imagine that the user turns a switch ON and now enters "BTC" to exclude "BTC" from the sell currencies results.

Please add "Exclude" switches below all of the search fields.  By default they are all OFF.

You can do it! :-)

Please add this powerful feature.

Thanks for all you do!!

I’d like to request the addition of a feature to support the import of ETC wallets similar to what you have with ETH wallets.

The free API at https://api.gastracker.io/v1/addr/{ETC address}/transactions provides for an easy way to get all ETC transactions associated with an ETC wallet address. It is described at http://help.gastracker.io/support/solutions/articles/36000000899-list-of-transactions-api

Alternately, Gastracker also provides a public RPC endpoint compatible with Ethereum Web3. You can use it from https://web3.gastracker.io as described at http://help.gastracker.io/support/solutions/articles/36000000934-public-json-rpc-api

I would also like to see ETC added to cointracking.info.  The Ethereum Classic Blockkchain is a multibillion dollar market cap and has been in operation for nearly 18 months now.  Please add ETC today, (I am an Ultimate member and desparate, actually to complete my taxes).  The poster above has already shared with you good resources to get you started.

Hi,

I initially started using CoinTracking for @6 months but had too many trades with the PRO account that I upgraded my subscription to CoinTracking UNLIMITED for 2 Yrs.  Thank you for this software!

When I started using CoinTracking I was manually importing many wallet and exchange transactions. But my balances were so far off that I decided to wait for the Automated Import API to GDAX, then deleted my GDAX manual entries and let the new trades automatically update.

I want the same benefits of the Automated Import API for Gemini Exchange please?  I want the Automated Import API because I am now trading there more often and can't spend more time manually updating individual txs there - even for manual imports - it just takes too much effort.  It would be very nice if you would add the the Automated Import API for Gemini Exchange.  They are one of the only exchanges in the world that legitimately obtained a Bank Charter to do crypto and they are in NY State under the toughest rules in Cryptoland.  They really deserve the props.

Please add Automated Import API for Gemini Exchange as soon as possible.

Respectfully,

PLENTY

Would Coinbase not allowing customers to make BTC purchase at their daily limits also be affected by their inability to get bitcoin?

I am having trouble making 3K daily purchases since yesterday.

Also, why wouldn't I get a message like you about the market price being different?
I got no such message!

Is anybody else having this problem?
