This is a highly recommended update.
New KORE WALLET v0.12.6.1 UPDATE:
This is a highly recommended update.
This update includes:
1- Fixed some compile errors,
2- Increased the protocol version, this is so at the NEXT release we can block all of the old, dead wallets.
3- Added block height response to the wallet communications.
This is so that when the majority of the network is running this 12.6.1 version of the wallet there will less issues with missing coins
because you will not stake if your wallet hasn't validated to be on the longest chain. This check is performed every 2 minutes.
4- CPU sleeps have been added in the staking process to protect against a single thread being locked into a tight loop, freeing up some resources.
5- Checkpoints have been added, this protects the wallet from forking on initial chain download.
6- Added true seednodes.
This will help the network, especially on initial connection to the network.
7- Getonion rpc command has been added.
When this command is issued it will respond with your current onion address.
8- Added debug signal for when new block was found for easily tracking when there was an issue
9- Increased the Stake Split Threshold.
This allows for a more fair, thorough staking rotation.

Just passing by to say that now Kore have a dnsseed (and two more about to come out of the oven).
Also, some checkpoint were set up.
Everything 100% done and working in the Momentum branch, included in the last PR in the official GitHub repo.
I hope it to be on a release real soon.

Despite the fact that this coin is not the biggest profitability indicator, I really like it, because I think that this is one of the most promising masternode for today! Good luck to the developers!

Hey guys,
A month or so ago I said I was going to work on an easy way for you guys to retrieve your onion address. I partially made good on that promise soon after by writing scripts and applications (shell scripts and PHP Node Monitoring Service) that would grab the network info and then parse it for your onion address but it bugged me that it wasn't in the actual wallet. As many of you know I am an applications developer but I don't work with CPP because it's a very ugly language and not my cup of tea per say. However, after looking into everything and working on it for a while I have finally gotten a hang on a few things with CPP and was able to create the getonion command which has now been pushed to the git and can be grabbed. I have not compiled wallets for it yet, other than linux, but it will be available next release in all the wallets. If you are running a linux wallet and want to use this command you can pull it now but if you are on windows/macOSX you will need to wait for next release to utilize it.

When I make a promise I do my best to make good on it to the best of my abilities, even if I have to learn a bit to do so. I'll continue to do what I can for this coin where I can and when I can.

It's sad that something that doesn't have nothing to do with any specific crypto itself makes the prices decrease.

Hey guys, I realized I hadnt posted this here so:
KOREBot has now been updated to support all the coins. Here are the commands.
syntax:
command list: Yes/No
price pulls data from primary exchange of the coin (N if no reliable/trusted exchange has this coin listed)
block pulls current block for the node that the bot is running ontop of
btct posts the bitcointalk link for that coin
wallet posts the wallet git/download link for that coin
addme requests the daemon of the requested coin to add you to it's peers list, all the other coins are running too old of a daemon to support the addnode functionality so im working on some system configuration to allow the other coins to support that functionality until those coins can be updated.

Due to microsoft officially acquiring github, KORE team will no longer use github. Once the decided git platform is chosen the kore team github will only have a link pointing to the chosen git platform. To put it as kindly as I can, Microsoft DESTROYS anything it touches and are attempting to monopolize. I normally try to keep politics to a minimum in workplace here but I sincerely believe that the US gov will not do anything to stop microsoft from monopolizing as long as microsoft continues to hand over any and all personal data it collects to them. So, KORE team will move to another git project, dont yet know if we will be hosting our own git server or if we will use another source such as bitbucket. My personal and team github accounts will both be terminated and all my repos will be destroyed after they are moved. Microsoft is a dirty company and will likely change ToS of github so that they can abuse developers and developer rights so i would recommend everyone else do the same. I have no evidence to say that they WILL change tos, but their shady background makes me think it personally

It's still in beta and has some crash bugs, but it works. Take a look:

It's two-way handed, so you can generate/recover your wallet through the Mnemonic words.
In order to import the wallet generated, just copy the WIF code and import it in the Kore console.

Everytime I take a deeper look into a serious coin development I got my heart filled.
It's sad that humans have being putting their currency in the hands of a centralized power for so long. Everyone is corruptible and if you center a power in an element with feelings, it'll fail now or later.
I mean, if the logic is wrong by default, you shouldn't expect something good. Centralized systems are wrong by default. Even that you put a honest person in government and even that he doesn't mix his feelings with logic and reason, the next one in power will fail.
Decentralized systems are just logic. The thought that there's people putting a lot of effort to make this tech a reality makes me believe in human kind.
The development of Kore is going on for some time and anyone can see the integrity of the developers. I'll buy Kore for sure, not just because I truly believe that it'll be a main coin in the future, but also because I believe in honesty, effort and in the will of some people to do awesome things.

This weekend WSL is going to have the Oi Rio Pro main event on Saquarema beach from the 11th to the 20th of May.
So if you´re in Rio state please go and check it out, Saquarema is a beautiful place in Rio state and the surfing event is awesome, we are going to do giveways of Kore Shirts, mini-surfboards, stickers and brochures at this event.

This weekend WSL is going to have the Oi Rio Pro main event on Saquarema beach from the 11th to the 20th of May.
So if you´re in Rio state please go and check it out, Saquarema is a beautiful place in Rio state and the surfing event is awesome, we are going to do giveways of Kore Shirts, mini-surfboards, stickers and brochures at this event.
