Any more info about standalone mining algos/estimated hashrate? I'm thinking about selling most/all of my GPUs so I'm hoping I'll be able to mine with these still.

Is there a way to have the miner exit when the pool disconnects? (this is needed for multi-algo port switching on MPH)

Is there a way to exit immediately if connection to the pool is lost?

Currently not, I'll add an option to disable reconnection.
Was this added to the newest version?

I've released 0.5.3 earlier than planned because of cpu load reduction - so it doesn't contain this.

Okay, any ETA?

Where can I download the latest version? The auto-update feature has been broken for me for several months now and my rigs stop working the next time I reboot after an update is released

Re: {Rumor} 1070ti - Real? Thoughts?
by

I'm not sure what the point would be.

An 1070 has 1920 cores so 2048 cores is not much of an upgrade. The 1080/1080Ti has 2560/3584 cores for comparison.

The only point I can see is if its built with 14nm technology like the 1030/1050/1050Ti while the rest of the 1000-series cards are based on 16nm fabrication. I'm not sure that slight efficiency upgrade would worth it to push a new card but who knows.
14nm is just a different fab (Samsung). It doesn't necessarily have any better density. The name of a node is mostly marketing fluff at this point

I'm getting the same error. My simplemining rig is down because of this

wow, are you all noobs here or you just don't care or what? Shocked

for 24/7 card workload you'd want to go below 70°C core definitely otherwise your cards will have reduced card lifetime for sure(graphic cards aren't designed to work 24/7 75+°C)
I'm keeping my cards mining @ 63°C max. If there is any environmental heat rise I downclock my cards to match my targeted temps.

Keep your cards healthy and not too hot and they'll work for a very long time Wink

btw: 76-78°C is way too hot for 24/7 workload, that may be ok with older cards such as 5xxx/6xxx series because of the larger fabrication process, smaller fab process gpus are far less resilient to higher temps and constant temp changes(heat extension)
They are absolutely designed to be run at that temperature for extended periods of time. 80C is perfectly fine

7 DAYS = +0.09395955 BTC (+257.46 USD)
30 days =    +0.58087353 BTC (+1591.68 USD)

The 7 are days not month

Sorry that was a typo, but yes it still doesnt add up?
The difficulty has fluctuated (increased) over the past month

Individual overclocking now works on the nvidia image. The power limit field still doesn't work though (only the power slider does). This means that individual power limits aren't possible yet

When will individual overclocks be added for nvidia? I'm losing a lot of profit since one of my cards is only stable at the stock core speed so I have to set all my cards at stock even though some of them are fine at +250

Re: Anyone managed to get more out of a 1050 ti ?
by

on 14/07/2017, 20:24:43 UTC
Instead of buying 1050TI's now you are better off getting higher end cards or buying an RX 470/570 when they return to retailers.

I do not do modding of Bios of those cards and even modded they reach maximum 26-27 Mhash, normal with only memory raising through MSI Afterburner they go up to 23-24 mhash price of one of those is more than 400 Euro for the moment and it is not cost effective, they consume higher power than 2 GTX 1050 ti.  2 GTX 1050 ti gives you about 29.5 mhash and 100 watt consumption, that is almost 0.001 bitcoin daily with only 100 watt consumption (or only a light in your room consumption in an hour Smiley . They are not anymore cost effective IF you don't mod the Bios of RX 470/570.

Still I am looking for answers for GTX 1050 ti low profile or normal and not for RX, I have 2 boards running with RX 480 8GB Nitro plus which I and a few friends keep in a warehouse. I want to build a home PC with low power consumption and good average hashrate.
570s/580s can get higher hashrate than 2x 1050tis and with lower power. Also it uses much more power in a day than a standard light bulb uses in an hour lol. 1050tis are only decent if you can't find 1060s/1070s
