I really hope bitcoin doesn't become something only the rich can afford (fees).  Also I just don't see most people having the time to learn bitcoin.  Huh

Ethereum can’t compete against Bitcoin at all.

Ethereum isn't competing with Bitcoin at all. They can coexist and help each other thrive.

As much as I like bitcoin I just don't see how the poorer countries will adopt it with these high fee periods. Opening channels or splicing them can cost a days wage in some countries.  Huh

I don't get the reasoning here. If you're interested in BTC why dca what you can afford.
Pull the trigger because no one knows where the high and low will be.

I really appreciate the help vv181! I looked at a lot of places for help except blockstreams articles.  Huh
I thought it would be simpler if they just put the code on their github page.

Thank you!

Hi btctalk!

I'm stumped on how to "import GPG key" on this apk file.  I'm on linux and been trying for a couple days.

Can anyone point me to a resource to accomplish this?

Thank you!

Thanks for the info. I'm a little concerned on how the package is labeled. I'm pretty sure foundation isn't the most well known company anyway.

I'm torn between this wallet, cold card and Jade.

Do they ship discreetly? And if I read correctly - its via UPS.

Thank you

"cannot find Bitcoin Core cookie file at XXXXXXXXX"

The cookie file is only available if Bitcoin Core already started. Are you sure the Bitcoin Core daemon already started?

You can also check directly the XXXXXXXXX/.cookie file path to see whether the cookie truly exists or not.

Thanks vv181 - i cannot locate the cookie file but i did enable the user/ pass function on the server window and that synced the wallet.
I don't know how that makes sense.

Thank you. Hopefully this helps someone out there.

Re: Memepool.space issue installing

This installation of mempool.space is still nagging me even though it warns:
Most people should use a one-click install method. Other install methods are meant for developers and others with experience managing servers. Grin

My question is: Does this only work alongside an electrum server?

Re: Stuck transaction

Sorry  Embarrassed for not mentioning that my 1sat/vb transaction did clear a few days ago . A 3sat/vb cleared pretty quickly a few days ago also. I've heard of 10sat/vb taking over 6 hrs as of yesterday.  Huh

Me personally I wont be setting a 1sat/vb transaction anytime soon. Maybe ever. Those extra sats/vb I pay extra hopefully will save me time and headaches.

I find those accelerators pretty fishy.

Thanks everyone! I appreciate all of you!
