Hello, i would like to get past newbie and would like to post some issues in the guiminer thread that i am having with his program, as the newer versions are less effective then the older ones. Thanks =)

it would be sick if the moderators did their jobs and allowed people to post to other forums. I posted here days ago. If you are going to impose such a system you need to be on top of things.

the block chain is the records of all the transactions that have gone on. Your client doesn't know you have any money until it downloads the entire thing and sees that there is money that has been sent to you.
I want to install a client on a multiple machines but other's have access to them as well. Is it possible to connect to a pool like deepbit with username only to credit the right account with the work but not include the password so it is not exposed?
Guiminer does not show the password.
actually it does, if you look in the console, its a flag for poclbm.
Can't you use separate accounts on the operating system? so each person has their own account and can't access each other's running programs?

if you have pointed the client to the correct directory (using the -datadir= flag) then your coins should appear after you have downloaded the entire block chain.
