I heard about bitcoins on internet but was not sure whether its a genuine or a scam and was not aware how to earn them but after doing a good research I came across through this forum and found many ways to earn them and now I am very much satisfied with the earnings that I am making in bitcoins.

I think both. It's an asset and at the same time a currency in digital world. Asset because it serves as an gold to your computer that can increase and decrease it's value depending on time and currency because it is used to buy , sell and trade a product or the btc itself.

Re: Is It advisable to quit my present job for bitcoin?

Quiting your present job for bitcoin is not a good idea because having both will make you earn money faster and have a active living if you have an active job. I'd say it is only advisable if you are satisfied on what you want to earn if bitcoin can provide it for you, but just thinking about having bitcoin only for your living source in life is kind of a more relaxable way than having an active job.

All investment comes with risk and putting all your money in bitcoin is not a good idea its better diversify your money and invest to altcoins also because there will be time that bitcoin will dump and altcoins will go up. And in this way you can gain more profit.

Bitcoin is not typically a job but a sideline. You dont earn in this bitcoin in a stable price and its not sure if you can get your salary in the right time. But i think this can eliminate the needs in financial of every person.

Re: Should I Wait or Invest On Bitcoin?

Based on the bitcoin price exchange, I think the best option to choose is to buy and invest in bitcoin.
The market value slowly strikes down through this we can be able to buy more bitcoin at lower price and wait the perfect time to withdraw it. Through this we can earn more money without exerting too much effort for it.

If bitcoin dies due to state intervention, then after it the altcoins will die. If there is no intervention and at the same time the cryptocurrency will go into oblivion, then bitcoin will be the last coin to die.

Bitcoin is an open source where majority of the individuals believers of bitcoin knows this things.
But it doesn't mean we must be scare of it, of course not! Bitcoin can be use for illegal activities if the user are one of the abusers.
But if not, most often bitcoin being use to help others not to harm anyone. And I never heard that bitcoin being use in criminality ever since I started here, I don't know in the other country if that happen.

@jlb94: merci.

Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money?

I think it's obvious, real money is money officially authorized as state payments. the state can perform full control with real money. if bitcoin is cryptocurrency that can be used as an alternative payment but not yet approved by the state. bitcoin is currently very good for long term investment.

Some people sell bitcoin when the price of it is high and then when the price get low, they will buy a lot. After it, they will wait for the price again to rise and then sell it again. Some sort of strategy to become wealthy in this.

they are both good because they are both useful to pay stuff. but still cash is more known by people and it can be used worldwide not unlike bitcoin you can only use it online, that's why cash is better than bitcoin. and another thing what if bitcoin dies, what will happen to the bitcoins that you store ?  unlike cash even you lose connection in the internet you can still use it to pay.

We never know whats going on with BTC growth as in the last few days i see major corrections happening. We also dont know the percent of correction going to happen.I would take some buy position wherever the drop down percent is huge and take a call accordingly. The main thing is when to buy and when to exit , thats the main call we have to make. Rest is invest what u afford to lose.

Bitcoin has not yet been recognized in our country. But currently, the subject of information and technology has been included in the textbook. Information and technology education has been compulsory in all education institute. There is no longer much of the time that Bitcoin will take a place in the lesson.

Re: Is Bitcoin Really The Future Of Money?
by

on 31/01/2018, 21:17:04 UTC
Based on the current trends and what is happening, it will not be wrong to think in that direction because even over here that I thought the awareness is not much, the popularity is just growing and I cant just believe it. However, the future is what is the concern because based on this day, I am seeing the future not anywhere close as the world politics is not even going towards that direction and this is something of concern. Aside that, I am seeing that happening in the near time to come.

Re: Will bitcoin replace gold?
by
Ponzi Shame
on 31/01/2018, 21:01:39 UTC
The gold market is huge compared to the bitcoin market. The gold is a good asset that we know it since thousands of years, maybe the price of the gold fluctuates with some tens of dollars on a year. The bitcoin market is at its beginnings, bitcoin is a new currency and not many people knows it. I have read some months ago, in this forum that bitcoin price was bigger than the gold price this year, and that its volatility was less than the gold volatility. This makes bitcoin a very good asset that could replace gold.

I didn't know about bitcoins when it was released back in 2009, I heard about it first around 2012 , I guess, but even if I had bought some bitcoins during that time I'm sure I would have spent it within days or weeks,I think thats what most people will do unless they forget about it and just leave it like that for years. So yeah I do regret not buying during that time but not much.

Re: When will banks start a war against bitcoin
by

I really think that it's not gonna start any war between bitcoin and banks , i think that they wil have to adapt and accept bitcoin . but everything is possible so if it will be any war it will happen, maybe, when bitcoin will become more known than it is now . and people will make payments with it.
