Re: If a bitcoin falls below $2,000, what could be the cause? What is the real value

Last Btc peakin price to 19.500 and current fall to 4.800 and possibly even lower is done by the same group from the  "financial dark state". They are now spending priofits earnedd from the peak to depress the price now.
Remember that futures market opened on thy day the fall in prices from the peak started. So it is all connected. No private investor would do with his own money what is being done now.

The goal is to destroy confinence in Btc and stop flow od new money.

The prices of bitcoin and etherium is a worth and such a hug3 amount, but in other coins that i have is so very low and i think i can not get it because there are some payment for transferring a transaction and i think there are also many other coins that are low prices as of now.

Yes, that is more likely the cause. Then -  whales might be cashing out?

Recent price patterns

I noticed strange price fluctation pattern in the last couple of months. Price suddenly goes up for about 200 USD simultaneously on all major exchanges with a lot of volume. Then after a few days price props suddenly for about the same amount and again on all exchanges with big volumes.

Could it be that the exchanges coordinate actions and push the price up and down as they wish and on each cycle of this pattern?

It is possible that exchages buy coins on some volume and then buy back but on lower price but at much bigger volume and make a lot of money on this?

if that is the case price will continue to go down because more coinss are sold than bought.

I use two computers - one offline and one online sitting one by one in my home.

On is old the offline computer which was never seen internet just installed Basic Windows from scratch and installed Armory Bitcoin wallet software and nothing else.

When I want do transactions I restore my wallet from paper seed on the offline computer and I create one  or more offline transaction files which I later use to broadcast transactions on the blockchain.
Then I delete Armory wallet from the Armory software on the offline computer.

On second coputer which is always connected to internet and fully synced with Botcoin Core client ( so I run a full node ) I have Another Armory wallet but it is watch-only copy of the same wallet  it does not have any private keys at all.

On that live computer with watch-only wallet I broadcast previously created transaction files produced on off-line computer.

The seed I do not keep at same location as the two computers- actually thee seed keys I do not keep in my home at all!

Bitcoin Core solo mining
by

I understand that miners are the ony part of the Bitcoin system which prevent double spending by validating transactions in the block. So if that is good and essential for Bitcoin, then I do not understand
why the official Bitcoin Core wallet does not have the option for solo mining.

I would like to have this option available and I would keepit active any time my PC is on.

Is there a not too complicated way of solo mining or a specialized app for this?

Italian President just refused to accept results of parlamentary elections.

Now EU must bail-out Italy at all costs. It is good news for the Italians - enjoy life and take and spend more debt for a while. EU is paying all.
Bad news for Europe. This will just accelerate Euro demise because some other countries will ask for the same treatment.
Money for that must come from somewhere. We can see more Euro exits or Greece scenarions with drastic drop in purchasing power in population.

Whatever happens Bitcoin will grow!

Italy parallel currency

There is new populistic Government in Italy.
Itay is going to dump Euro and it will cause huge turmoil in Europe. New parallel currency will be in circulation and Euro accounts might be closed for owners. That will cause surge in Bitcoin prices like in the case of Cypres in 2013.

Re: Are Satoshi mined bitcoins owned by the US Government

China and Russia are colluding to avoid US dolar by creating new gold backed currency. They have gold and US does not - it has been sold long time ago. it would be good for the US to create dollar version 3.0 but this time backed by bitcoin. It is strange that 1.000.000 Btc have no known owner.

What would happen if dollar would lost huge value and the the US Government gives a proof of ownership of Satoshi mined bitcoins?
Maybe this was asked sometime before I applogize for repeating the same question.
In other words what if Bitcoin iwas created by the Government?
