Hi Crackfoo

My password line in my .bat file is:
c=BTC,x17=23,x16r=21,x16s=21,phi2=9.7,bcd=.028,lyra2z=5,phi=41,aergo=9.1,skein=.82,allium=10.7,lyra2v2=.0675,hex=.0175,lbk3=.44,polytimos=48,c11=33,x22i=12.3,sonoa=3.57,hmq1725=14.3,tribus=.131,bitcore=38

It selects bcd at the right times, but zpool (or yiimp) also reads bcd=.028 as d=.028 and sets that as difficulty. Other algos that come after bcd in the line above then also have difficulty set at .028

e.g. Currently mining x22i and from the zpool legacy website:

Details   Extra   Algo   Diff   ES**   Hashrate*
CryptoDredge/0.10.0   F,c=BTC,x17=23,x16r=21,x16s=21,p   x22i   0.028      7.8 MH/s
CryptoDredge/0.10.0   J,c=BTC,x17=23.5,x16r=21,x16s=21   x22i   0.028      5.7 MH/s
CryptoDredge/0.10.0   P,c=BTC,x17=23,x16r=21,x16s=21,p   x22i   0.028      4.1 MH/s

Can you please advise, thanks

There is a chance it could just be coincidence.

if you increase its normalization factor up to some arbitrary number (this will also influence your miner to swap to that algo, which helps us test quickly) lets say 0.28;  see if it indeed carries over to the difficulty setting.

If this is the case;  I would think someone screwed up a variable in the yiimp code by mistake....   seems like an easy enough variable to use by accident.

Yes If I set e.g. x22i to a high value and bcd to a low value so that it will always choose x22i, then it takes the value for bcd as the difficulty. I can change it at will:

-p c=BTC,x22i=120.3,bcd=.012

and on zpool it shows: CryptoDredge/0.10.0   P,c=BTC,x17=23,x16r=21,x16s=21,p   x22i   0.012      13.4 MH/s

and the miner also shows the same difficulty is being used: [05:49:37] INFO  - Setting new difficulty: 0.012

So, by changing the value for bcd in the password field I can change the difficulty it will use to mine other (not all) algos

Hoping that crackfoo will test and pass a message to yiimp devs (if they are still active)

Fair Game (https://fair.game) have a token named FAIR.
Both fairgame and FairCoin have the same symbol (FAIR) on coinmarketcap.com.
This is already causing confusion and problems for sites that show stats e.g. cryptofolio.info shows stats for fairgame when it used to show stats for FairCoin. It shows you the price of FairCoin, but it is actually showing the price of the fairgame token

What is the correct file for zpool??

whats wrong with this?

setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
ccminer -o stratum+tcp://lyra2v2.mine.zpool.ca:4533 -u xxx -p cryptomkd.1,c=VTC -i 25
 --cpu-priority=3
pause
No password needed and no spaces in the passwordfield. Also you should probably ask this in Zpool's thread.

ccminer -o stratum+tcp://lyra2v2.mine.zpool.ca:4533 -u xxx -p cryptomkd1,c=VTC -i 25 -a lyra2v2

you need the '-a algo' parameter
the xxx shown must be your wallet address

I just used them (flyp.me) to buy FAIR with about 0.073btc.

It worked perfectly and I got about 471.5 faircoins.

Dunno what is going on but it sure is interesting.

Can you do me a favour and vote for FairCoin on:

 http://cryptofolio.info/welcome/vote
(8 votes at the moment )

That webpage is a really neat web based crypto protofolio where you can keep track of your cryptocoins without any login and such. You just need to keep the link in your webbrowser.

Done. Faircoin has been added!

Mr crackfoo I sent you a PM with a possible suggestion for the pool.  Just in case you don't read your messages very often Smiley

Hi Spiffy_1, was that post for me?

I have no new messages on the forum.

This week, we’ve completed 25% of the snapshot process for the future distribution of the ARDR token. Those of you who have kept their NXT stake from the beginning of this process (July, 14th), should have received 1/4th of your NXT stake in ARDR (and growing).

Where does one recieve the NXT stake in Ardor ? Cannot see them on the client .

In the nxt wallet in the top left block, you can click the button named "Ardor Distribution Status".

I think Lior's speech might be the great turning point in the history of NXT.
It really is something professionally unprecedented.

What speech? When?

I also like to know the speech. Is there a video or write-up? Link?

Thank You

I have 70000 nxt and have been forgin for more than 5 days and never get anything.  Do you know why could it be?
You can also join a forging pool

Can you explain an easy way to join a forging pool? More commons and trusteds?

If I join one and they have for example 1million nxt forgin and i have there 1% in nxt if they take a profit/fee/reward of for example 1000 nxt I will get 1% of that= 10nxt? Is that the way it works?

This pool has 30 million nxt forging: http://pool.nxtcrypto.org/howto.html

Thanks, will try that.  How many a month do you think I could be possible to forge with 74K NXT?

I guess maybe 20, but it will vary.

what is the "c=BTC" part of the multi algo password for ?

It is for making sure the pool knows the address is for BTC. But you you use any address of the coins we mine but it's recommended to use BTC as altcoins can be removed at anytime.

as i thought thanks

crackfoo is there any way you can make it so we can put a "worker name" into the password so it shows before the "c=btc" that way we can see our worker name on the web page under the "extras" ?

Just put the worker name in front - seems to work OK.

-u ps,x11=4.8,x13=3.75,x15=3,quark=7.44,lyra2v2=5.7,qubit=7.2,neoscrypt=0.28,groestl=14.2,c=BTC

The first thing I see under extras is 'ps' and the rotation and difficulty changes still work.

Sorry, that's supposed to be -p:

-p ps,x11=4.8,x13=3.75,x15=3,quark=7.44,lyra2v2=5.7,qubit=7.2,neoscrypt=0.28,groestl=14.2,c=BTC

(the weighting is for my nvidia GTX 960)
