Re: I LOST OVER 10 BTC IN GAMBLING IN 2018
by

Sad to hear this story. But it is better to set a new chapter of your investment in bitcoin for a better ways on earning rather than taking risk and gambling your money. It is okay to gamble when you have the capability to take risk with  caution and you are able to stop on lossing when you are ready to stop or take another way to earn when you are lossing. Addiction on gambling may lead to unforced lose of money.

Re: Why do you gamble?
by

My gambling is basically on entertainment and fun becasue am afraid to be addicted. The most scary stuff on the planet earth now is; gambling, gamblers who are addicted to gambling aren't getting it fun when they lose in the process. Most gamblers died as a result of depression from gambling and, am afraid to get deep just becasue i needed quick money for myself.
Most of people do gambling for past time and for leisure. This is the best way to loss time and to earn in a good day. But people should also be aware about the risk it takes when they gamble just for fun, because doing this will give people a chance to play games without having the time to take it seriously and may lead to addiction. Personally i do gambling for my investment to earn and to have the time to double or to triple my money by chances in a right time and way.

Gambling is risky when you are not prepare to stop when you lose more than what your earn or invest with a particular gambling site or platform. We need to have an idea to take risk cautious as we could do in order for us to earn and learn when we are losing.

If you want to buy btc with cash it is better to find first a local wallet that could provide you an option to buy bitcoin directly to the application. It is fast and reliable for you to find this type of wallet or trading application for you to avoid scam.

Re: Casinos can use AI to get additional edge?
by
Potchi
on 28/06/2019, 15:03:59 UTC
I did observed some games like roulette wherein it looks like the casinos or maybe AI, when they see the pattern of your bets, you won't see success as it used to be. Of course there is almost the edge, but I don't know, see this many times when I'm playing that's why when I had a good run I will simply stop. At least I have won a few and move on the next game.
I also notice that new forms of gambling relies on numbers and code such as roll and the times we would won on a bet game. It it very noticeable that online gambling also provides auto bet that has an intent to create a bet automatically in a choice to navigate the game easily in a way we could just watch and stop when we want to.

Re: How can I make money (no scam)

If you want to earn you will definitely need to work on it. And investing is one of the common thing we could do for us to earn in a active way. We would need to open ourselves on opportunity and give ourselves a way that we could learn and took advantage on the chance cryptocurrency give us on trading and starting an investment on transactions on the market.

Re: $12000 to invest in long term. Which coin? :D

Which is a safe coin to invest in the long term?
How long should I hold it?

Is there a risk that I might lose it all?

I am a noob in cryptocurrencies. Help.  Huh

I was thinking Litecoin, is it a good idea?

If you are looking for clues on where will you invest that money of yours, you can look at several markets such as the coinmarketcap.com. You can select there on where you want to invest. You can see there the market cap of each altcoins or tokens. You can see there as well the price along with the rate of change of it in 24 hrs and other time intervals. With that, we hope you can find the best altcoin for yourself where you can gain a good profit.

Re: Will Dogecoin have a future?
by
Potchi
on 15/07/2018, 01:52:31 UTC
Dogecoin has been my favorite alt coin for quite a long time. It serves as a good cryptocurrency for tipping others, as well as being a fun and inexpensive medium of exchange.

However, I'm worried what might happen to Dogecoin in the future, since it has been quite some time that no new version of the QT wallet has been mentioned, neither some innovation to keep it going for the long term.

It would become ideal for Dogecoin to add SegWit to its code, and gain traction if it gains acceptance from the miners. Then, if it manages to become the first cryptocurrency to accept the scalable solution, it could rise in popularity once more (not to mention that transaction will be near instantaneous).

Nevertheless, Dogecoin is a great cryptocurrency being inexpensive and relatively stable, making it a great way to tip others or send micropayments faster than BTC at a fraction of the cost.

Looking forward to your opinion. Wink

As much as an altcoin is doing well everytime, there will be a great future ahead of it. We cannot just make sure that there is but everyone has its chance to be the one. Well if we are talking specifically on Dogecoin, which is rank 45 in market cap in the market place according to coinmarketcap.com, it is still far enough to what the highest here in cryptocurrency world but having positive percent of change, it is a good sign though to become excellent in the future.

Re: Do you join ICOs that requires KYC?
by
Potchi
on 14/07/2018, 12:52:47 UTC
Do any of you participate in ICOs that requires KYC (Know your Customer). We actually experienced this one on exchanges but how about in partipating in ICOs or just even in airdrop that requires KYC.

I think it depends as for me as they are many scams as well just getting your information. In some instances, we can be blind sometimes, mkay? I really do not join airdrops if it requires too needy to get your personal information.

I believe some people are not cautious as long as they can join airdrops. How about you? What are your thoughts about KYC in ICOS?

Requiring KYC on an ICO is good enough to secure that no one had cheated such as multiple accounts and such things. This will be an indication for a true value of members or participants that they will be having. But yet KYC will be good if and only if the campaign itself is a good one. If it is worthy to have the KYC system then why not, but it will be a pain for us if the campaign requires KYC yet not enough to prove its legitimacy and in the end, it will be only scam one which was encountered so many times.

Re: Is it normal to wait for 6 months for a bounty reward?
by
Potchi
on 12/07/2018, 18:56:58 UTC
Most of us join bounty campaigns because it is one of the means for us to get coins. I just want to verify how many of us have experienced waiting for a long period of time to get our coins. Don't get me wrong, i do trust the managers and what they say. And, most of them give valid  reasons why it'll take that long for them to distribute the rewards. In average, how long do you receive your coins after a bounty campaign?

Average time for waiting for the reward in a bounty campaign can took about 1 month to 2 months. But some cases are not. Even though it is going far until to the point that it reached half of a year, it still depends. Maybe they cannot give you the token because the price of that altcoin might be low and not good for people. Maybe that is one of the reason why it is going to be like that. Another one is that there are cases like that as well for about 4 months but still got the reward and sold in the market.

Re: How to protect your altcoin
by
Potchi
on 12/07/2018, 14:03:39 UTC
What is the best methods to protect altcoin from hacker?

Maybe it depends on how you can handle your belongings such as your account. Protecting it with all of the ways that you can such as maybe holding a document maybe in microsoft word or excel and put a password on it before someone can open it. In that way you can easily manipulate your things with your own security. In that way as well you can protect your altcoin or account from getting hacked by professional hackers.

Re: What are your plans with your Crypto Currency?
by
Potchi
on 11/07/2018, 15:47:04 UTC
I just wanted to  know what are your plans on your cryptocurrency in the future?

Do you plan to keep on investing?
Do you plan to exchange your crypto in fiat and leave crypto?
Will crypto survive?

Well people have different ways on how they will handle their cryptocurrency as well as what are their plans for their cryptocurrencies. We can actually sell some of them to gain money or profit, after a given period of time allotting in the work. Some of them will be saved for future changes in terms of the prices of that specific altcoin. And some of us might use it for trading in able to gain profit through manipulation.

Re: Why I do not panic when the market falls
by
Potchi
on 11/07/2018, 14:55:07 UTC
For some reason I am sure that the price of the crypto will rise, so I hold it, I did not see any analyst who did not have the same opinion as I do, but thing that motivates me the most — is when I start comparing the whole current situation with the Dot-com bubble, the fact is that this bubble busted reaching 6 trillion dollars, the crypto reached only 830 billion yet, in its peak. During Dot-com bubble only middle and rich class had opportunity to invest but not all, in the crypto everybody can invest, regardless of country and day time and it also can be done anonymously from jour home computer, so I think that this is all just the beginning and the real bubble is yet to come, it is not known when it will come — in five or 10 years, but I hope that it will.

We should not feel threaten or panic once the market goes down. It will still goes up but only will took a long period of time. Maybe we can access the situation such as taking the graph of the prices in the past 24 hours and other ways as well. Not just because it falls for a little period of time, we need to panic. Maybe it just face some problems but will soon cope up and the price goes back on its original then goes up.

Re: Can we adopt altcoin to pay wages?
by
Potchi
on 10/07/2018, 03:46:09 UTC
Can we pay salaries and wages in shape of altcoins?
What problems can be occurred to adopt it?

Well adopting this kind of system in paying the wages, might face some problems. One of these problems is that the wages might change as time goes by. It can be either negative or positive. Yet the management of the wage depends on the holder or the worker. He can control whether he will withdraw it with the small price or wait a little longer yet his wage will wait as well. Another one is that, some altcoin might disappear, and adopting this kind of system will also make the wages disappear.

Re: SLeepless nights doing bounty campaign is it worth it?
by
Potchi
on 10/07/2018, 02:58:28 UTC
I know that there are other members here working day and night doing bounty campaigns. But i think that doing bounty campaigns is not worth it especially if you had a lot of work during the day. Some are just boasting on their bounty campaign earning wherein fact maybe because they are lucky to receive those awards but somehow do not wish that you could be like them because some of the ICO project that you will going to work will not give bounty rewards and some of it will fail, or just pause. So no reason for sleeping late at night.

Sleeping late at night maybe because of bounty campaign is worth it ofcourse. Yet we have rules in bounty campaigns. Here in bitcointalk.org, in its signature campaign, there are limits to be done per day. Maybe if you do it earlier than what time you usually do it, then you do not have to sleep late at night. Following the rules and regulation and become perfectionist to yourself will make you even better in doing your job here in cryptocurrency world.

Re: What is the good way to earn with Altcoins?
by
Potchi
on 09/07/2018, 07:57:32 UTC
Hi. I have a question for you. Some ones do Day Trading,Some ones do short term holding,Some ones do long term holding,Some ones invest in ICOs and some ones do bounty and Airdrops. But what is the good and easy way to earn with altcoins.?What is your suggestions?

In order to have a good way on earning with altcoins, some people do all steps on gaining it. Some are participating the air drops in the PRE ICO so that it will be an additional for them in the later part of having the altcoin. Next is joining the campaigns. Some of them join all the campaigns such as twitter, facebook, instagram and others as well as the signature campaign here in bitcointalk.org. Some are translating articles as well. Some do invest as well so that they might get profit in the future once the price goes out in the market.
