Re: The secret of gambling?
by
Prettyme
on 22/09/2019, 15:34:04 UTC
After playing gambling games hundreds of times, without much effort in winning substantial profits at all, it makes me wonder what could be the secret of gambling? Personally, I find myself comfortable playing crypto-based gambling games, because of their greater level of accessibility than traditional games. I believe that gambling games which use cryptocurrencies and Blockchain tech, are much fairer than traditional ones within the mainstream world. Yet, you tend to lose more money than you've initially invested into a gambling game.

Which is why, I'm deeply curious to know if there's actually a secret within gambling that would allow me to win more than losing? Any thoughts about this will be greatly appreciated. Smiley

Gambling will let you win but most of the time you lose. One thing I realize from this game gambling will never ever lead you to a successful life it will only make your life miserable especially when you were not giving limitations to yourself. My mother and father is a a gambler so I know the situation of being a gambler because that what I observed.

Re: what will happens if everyone has own currency, doesn't a bad for Economics ?
by
Prettyme
on 22/09/2019, 15:30:26 UTC
If everyone create their own currency and doesn't got a good features then it will be a dead coin, because the only one using it is only yourself, it is easy to create your own currency but it's hard to convince other to believe and used your coin, even if there are already people using your coin you still need to dedicate your time to make improvements and introduce your coin, so creating one coin won't make you less motivated

Yeah you're right. Everything will become useless if we have our own currency because you cannot use your own currency if they will accept it when use it to buy. And I think people will minimize the sins we did because popularly said money is the root of all evil. Imagine if we have our own currency we don't need to make fight others just because of money.

We have a lot of exchanger but here in our country we have only one and very well-known exchanger which is the coins.ph where we convert our bitcoin into dollar and into peso.

Re: Why hasn't any altcoin replaced bitcoin?
by
Prettyme
on 22/09/2019, 15:18:58 UTC
I think bitcoin has been one of the biggest innovations of the human in the past years. Many altcoins have been created after bitcoin. But none of  them have been successful as bitcoin is. Why is that?
Why no altcoin can replace bticoin?
Every new thing and every technology is usually replaced by a newer one as the world is always developing.

The first television built was mechanical, then electronic television were invented, then colour televisions, digital, 3D, ....
The first automobiles invented were steam-powered wheeled vehicles, then electric automobiles appeared. Now we have autonomous cars. Now we have Tesla model S. Now we have Lamborghini.
All of us know about the developments made in mobile phones.

Every thing is being developed. Every device is finally replaced by a newer one. Why no altcoin has replaced bitcoin till now? Do you think it will happen in future?
I personally think people will trust what Satoshi has created more than altcoins till many years later.
Altcoins are created to make the developers rich. But bitcoin is different. Bitcoin was created in favor of us. So, no altcoin can be trusted as bitcoin.

What do you think?

As popularly said that the only constant thing in this world is change and we prove that from time to time. With the examples you said I think it undergoes planning and research on how to improve the present machine or anything they are using right now.  In terms of altcoins still bitcoin is unbeatable crypto in the crypto world so it will not replace by a new altcoin but satoshi will planning and researching about on how to develop and improve bitcoin to keep its popularity and value.

Re: What are we really investing in bitcoin?
by
Prettyme
on 22/09/2019, 15:08:30 UTC
Is the service and profitability, even if bitcoin is highly volatile, are the only two reasons why bitcoin is attractive to investors? Any good opinions or answers? Thanks

It has been a question for many years because of its anonymity. The only reason why many people engage with this kind of crypto especially bitcoin because of its potential not only of its ability to grow or go up but it's also ability to give profit to many investors. As I read many articles here a lot people became rich because of bitcoin. And as time goes by bitcoin is slowly conquering the world by replacing fiat as a means of transaction. So bitcoin grows that much and that is the reason why people continually invest with bitcoin.

Re: $175 billion just printed and the Bitcoin price goes down!
by
Prettyme
on 21/09/2019, 23:00:32 UTC
This is really amazing, the Federal Reserve just printed some more toilet paper money and injected it into the financial market and the Bitcoin price takes a 5% nose dive.  Roll Eyes

How gullible are the investors that they would be willing to pull money out of their Bitcoin investments to fund investments in the over inflated stock markets.  Roll Eyes

I think this is just another Bear trap in the making, because we all know what is going to happen on the 23rd of September, when Bakkt is going live!

Let's stay calm and ride this out, because I am definitely not going to sell my coins to greedy scumbags, who are just into Bitcoin for the quick profits.  Angry

Do you think this is a Bear trap? Let's discuss......  Tongue
It is possibly a bear trap since many of you has a lot of bitcoin investments and they want to take an advantage by means of printing more toilet paper money because with that many of investors got panic until they will now sell all their bitcoins. So i do hope that investors should smart enough on how are they going to play with this game.

Re: Is Bitcoin Still Better than US Dollar?
by

on 21/09/2019, 22:54:59 UTC
This news made me angry Angry Why people still can not understand that the government is manipulating fiat money. Bitcoin is the solution to the problem of manipulating the state. Could this news be a signal for further support of Bitcoin instead of fiat money among US citizens?

https://www.ccn.com/dollar-printed-75-billion-why-bitcoin-matters/
Its better to be posted again because there a re new members here and they are trying to seek answers regarding this issue. Dollar is a fiat and it can manipulate by the state and bitcoin cannot. Bitcoin still the most powerful than dollar because you can earn it n many ways. Everyone of us here makes bitcoin as a source of income which is worth it and many of us became rich because of bitcoin.

Re: Adoption! Finally?
by

on 21/09/2019, 22:48:51 UTC
I knew Japan knows the capabilities of Blockchain and they are the first to be taking advantage of it. With more adoption happening in the parts of asia, more people might be able to adopt Bitcoin as asia is the largest continent in the world. Even those people with financial problem might get a chance to be free. We might get to see someday that those countries who banned cryptocurrency will use it.

Yes youre right asia is the biggest continent and expected that bitcoin will be more popular in countries of asia. They will never adopt bitcoin if they dont see the potentials of it. Japan is a modernized and a developed country they know what they do in terms of their economy so i think japan notice the value of bitcoin thats why they wers now adopting it.

Re: China Urges Philippines to Ban All Online Gambling!
by
Prettyme
on 20/09/2019, 23:18:47 UTC
What do you guys think about China urges to ban all online gambling in Philippines?. One of their reason is that "The embassy said many of the Chinese citizens working illegally in Philippine casinos or POGOs and other forms of gambling entities are subjected to what media described as modern slavery due to severe limitation of their personal freedom and also Beijing welcomed the suspension of the issuance of new licenses for Philippine offshore gaming operations (POGO).

I don't think K that Philippines will banned all online gambling since these casinos help a lot of people especially in infrastracture. They built school building. So I hope that Philippines will not close all those casinos but they should try limit things just like what you said about modern slavery.

Re: What will happen after cryptocurrency
by
Prettyme
on 20/09/2019, 23:13:56 UTC
Money changed its shape through the history. As from non-monetary exchange to the need of having money. Fast forward to our current banknotes which are in my opinion slowly dying with bitcoin taking over. Many discussions are being held if bitcoin can be the primary currency in the world. Let's assume it can be. Everything has an end so what do you think will come after bitcoin? What will money look like hundreds of years from now? I predict its gonna be digital of course but I'm interested if its going to be a cryptocurrency or something else.
I also believe that after cryptocurrency it can be now used as a digital wherein We can never used fiat anymore but this only happen if we people are very well educated with cryptos even those people live in remote areas.
I always believe that the only constant thing in this world is change so if not now I think it will be the future of cryptos.

The only means g of this is that our country is open for any kind of changes just like bitcoin which we can be used to buy online. But I do hope that bitcoin awareness should spread out not just in the city but of course to all remote areas.

Re: Differences between an investor and common man!
by
Prettyme
on 20/09/2019, 23:02:09 UTC
What are the things differ from mindset of common man with investor, please share your thoughts.

IMO,investors never want to take loans for their consumption like home loan, car loan, etc then just save money and will buy the things for their needs but common man like you and me will buy the things immediately when we get the desire of it using loans but we are paying 20% of interest to those kind of loans.

I think not only common people want to take loans but also investors. The only difference between this two is that investors tale loans to make profit using that loan they will invest it unlike common people they take loans to buy the things they want. Therefore an investors think twice than common people. But not all common people is like the scenario I gave.

According to conspiracy theory, Is it possible that the bitcoin was created by governments to gain financial strength in the modern world?
People already know that bitcoin was created by satoshi nakamoto which is not yet confirmed by satoshi but everyone here in the crypto world believe that satoshi is owner of bitcoin.
It is impossible that the government will will create something that they can't control and yet a lot of country's government banned bitcoin.

Re: Crypto hodling as a form of gambling!
by
Prettyme
on 19/09/2019, 22:18:38 UTC
I don't think so that holding is a form of gambling. Gambling involves game wherein you can win or lose. Holding is just your strategy to make profit so with this you need to always check the market to monitor it's price not like in gambling. In holding once you can't sell your bitcoin during its high price only the profit will lose not like in gambling that if you lose the game you don't have profit and you lose also the capital so you need to go back with nothing. So gambling is worst than holding.

Can i ask some advice from trading experts here, How could i trade safely and assure possible profit from my investments?

In trading you need to have strategized mind on how are you going to buy or sell.  One thing I assure you that in trading you need to have that crypto who has a great potential to grow. And always look at the market when it getting sell and when it getting low buy,  it is one way of trading. Another way of trading is HODL.

Re: Does engaging with bitcoins put you at risk?
by
Prettyme
on 19/09/2019, 22:04:16 UTC
We, as physically and intellectually healthy individuals, strive and survive to achieve our dreams, establish our roles in the society and fulfill our needs and wants. But in order to do this, we are also required to be financially healthy. The lingering fact is that money is not achievable as a single candy you can buy in the store. Sometimes, people risk their lives and reputation just to get a handful. Bitcoins are not officially a currency that you can just see in a certain country, that are being utilized and used. So, is dealing with bitcoins and other things related to it also puts us in a risky gamble?

Engaging with bitcoin need bravery because you are taking risk you don't know if you win or not. Many people got scammed and many people got a lot of profit. So in taking this risk which is engaging with bitcoin you need also to think not that twice by many times to fully evaluate if that site is good to earn bitcoin.

Re: Proof that bitcoin is needed, even by developed countries such as US of A
by
Prettyme
on 19/09/2019, 22:00:37 UTC
One possible reason why bitcoin was made is because of the non-transparent and over printing of US dollars. This could be one of the reason why some people are starting to join into the cryptocurrency world and use bitcoin. But it is still too early for bitcoin to replace bitcoin since the world is not ready yet. One day when there will be another global economic recession due to the overprinting of US dollars a big number of the populace will be migrating into bitcoin.
Yes you're right. It's just like US helping bitcoin to patronize by people because of their wrong moves. But as you said it yet the time for bitcoin to replace fiat because a lot of people still don't have any idea about cryptos. And I'm also hoping that that bitcoin price will go up soon.

Re: What do I do with my bitcoins ?
by
Prettyme
on 19/09/2019, 21:56:00 UTC
I am in mid 20's and holding and accumulating as much BTC as I can. I try to save a small amount of bitcoins every month so that I can do something with it when I retire.
But what if something unfortunate happens to me. What should I do 'now' so that the coins can be used for a good purpose in the future by the right person.
I know I can hide the instructions to the private key for somebody to take it in the future. But my question is whom should I give it to ?

I do not want to give it to my relatives or children since I want them to earn on their own and never depend on others money.
I know I can donate it to charity but what's the guarantee that the money will be gone into good hands and will be used for the right purpose ?

Are there any options that you guys think of ? Have you guys thought about such a scenario ?

I think it's good that you will give to to your relatives or children and teach them to invest it and it is the possible way that we can do. Sometimes it is hard to trust other people what if they use that bitcoin for non sense thing because they don't have any idea on how to make profit with it. So I think for you now that as early as you can teach them to invest with cryptos.

Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling?
by
Prettyme
on 18/09/2019, 22:22:54 UTC
Just curious here.
I know there are tons of way to live.

but is there such a thing as professional gamblers?

people who make a living onlyout of gambling (online or on rl)?

resources and comments on that are really welcome.

Well there's a lot of gamblers but not that profession. I saw a lot of gamblers and their profession is business man. Mostly gamblers do gambling just to keep away all their stress from their work but if that person makes gambling as a way of earning money and he or she do it everyday then its not for fun anymore it is now addiction and not profession
