This may depend on the kind of altcoins you decided to buy with your BTC and those altcoins you mentioned are just nothing but shitty coins especially the Siacoin. ETH is adviceable.

You can do that by simply trying to purchase altcoins like Eth at a very lower rate during this bad market and then hold for a while. I strongly believe Eth will start mooning.

This is not really the end for all altcoins, though many coins would collapse as a result of the downturn in the market but most would still survive.
