Man, seriously..... what impact would this project make for the crypto industry to move forward? NONE.

I am really getting tired and very sad about new projects mentioning blockchain for some idea and expecting it will impact our future in some major way.

I used to be a big supporter of ETH. but since they dropped the ball on ASIC's being able to mine ETH, them being really slow and lazy on any protocol updates or information to the public. Vitalik having a stick up his ass (pardon my language) people are really starting to look at ETH as something that could of been great but faded away due to lack of drive, passion etc or whatever.

I was always rooting for ETH. but since July, the whole project is looking like something that got too much media hype.

Re: Determining A ShitCoin

I decided to read this post because I wanted to see what other people really thought about crypto projects these days.

I for one distinguish early on whether a coin is legit or 'shitcoin' these days from the initial review, But what saddens me and makes me second guess my self is how these 'shitcoins' can somehow survive, then become semi valuable on exchanges. I always see coins with no real world use earn a real value and I am sometimes scratching my head on how people think this project is going to become something in the crypto space.

awesome, that is great to hear.

May I ask where you found this information? any information regarding this matter would be great to pass on to other gpu miners.

Hello everyone.

I would like to post my feelings and thoughts towards this new project that I have recently came across. I don't remember exactly how I came across the project, but what I do remember is when it was mentioned that they are using a new algorithm, x22i. That statement alone got me excited! I was wondering why haven't I heard of this project or algorithm before today? How old are both? Once I came across it I became wildly excited and researched frankly all I could. I for one am already on board this new project from reading the whitepaper and slowly studying the way the x22i algorithm works. Great game changer to use this algorithm imo.

I am a miner that has been in game for long enough to feel the ups and downs of accumulating crypto using this method. I do it because I enjoy the building and tweaking perspective. I enjoy manually building and taking care of my hardware. I enjoy supporting projects that I feel have promising ideas and futures in the new type of industry.

What does concern me though is how does the SUQA project plan to handle the competitiveness of an ASIC and FPGA miner compared to a GPU miner. GPU miners range from your 1 card miner to the industrial size miner. The thing they all have in common is they are using their hardware to support something they believe in. After many discussions with many other GPU miners the question that always comes around is, x22i algorithm is at the moment, a great gpu algorithm and is fighting back against the ASIC's and FPGA's. Which is what GPU miners love to see, but also in the back of their mind, they would also like to see precautions in case ASIC's and FPGA's are able to mine on the x22i algorithm.

My question to the SUQA development team is if x22i algorithm network becomes congested with ASIC and FPGA miners, what are your procedures to fight back against this technology? Are you working on protocols on how to handle this situation as we move forward in the project?
I constantly check the SUQA gpu-mining discord channel and I am always happy to see the feedback. Iif the community is strong here, so will be the project.

I feel like if you are always able to keep gpu miners in the loop of your protocol procedures to combat these problems, you will always have the support of us backing this awesome project.
Any information keeping gpu miners in the loop is always great feedback!

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

hi, gpu 0 for me has lower hash rate then the other gpu's, same OC settings and parameters in miner, is it because it has a monitor plugged in? difference in hashrate is noticable

also 1 gpu on CN heavy is averaging around 460h/s but has spiked to 590 h/s! is that normal on CN-heavy?

Hi all, trying to import seed on the BCI qt wallet, can not find the command. can anyone help please?

ty

some people helped out, did a work around for now if anyone is interested/have similar problems.

Opened up old Electrum BCI wallet, exported keys. Opened new BCI qt wallet. went to console. importprvkeys "my key" and waited for resync.

done!

hello, I have a question about the new wallet.

Once i complete syncing on the QT wallet, if I import my old details from pre fork wallet will it automatically transfer my old balance into the new qt forked wallet? or do i need to do more then that?

You need to import your old private key(s) into the new wallet.

ok, thankyou for the help!

nice. going to try this on my RX480. pitty my 1070s does 12.5mhs for 150w so not sure if there will be much of an uptake if power is worst

Hi sorry for reviving and old thread, But i am really curious how you were able to hit 12.5Mhs for 150w on a 1070 please. I have not been able to get close to that on 1070 ti's.

I have been using TradeOgre for a few months now and I have never had any major problems with them.

When contacting them via twitter they respond fast and helped to the full extent. I have never had a deposit or withdraw problem so far.

Yep, that would make perfect sense why the block height is looking weird, and syncing is off. Thank you for that clarification

May I ask what do you think the E.T.A is on the new main chain launch time?

Hi all, just came back to BCI today after reading about the ProgPoW change. Great to see BCI team deciding to do this! I am very excited.

On another note, since being away for a few months I am a little lost on what I should be doing regarding my old balance/wallet to the new ProgPoW.
I opened up my Electrum BCI wallet and connected to the wallet.bitcoininterest.io:50002 network and it says the blockchain is -1 block. It says it is syncing atm.
Do I bother syncing my old Electrum BCI wallet to the fork block or do I create a new updated wallet after the ProgPoW goes live by importing my seed?

If I wait until the ProgPoW implementation takes place where do I get a new wallet and how do I import my old BCI seed from the old BCI electrum wallet.

I have been skimming through the forum to see what I am meant to do and am a little confused.

Any help would be great! thank you and awesome job on the switch to ProgPoW!
